It was the weekend of the MMVA’s 2011 in Toronto and all though it was not announced Justin would be making an appearance, we all had our fingers crossed he would be there. Soon enough the show’s co-host Selena Gomez arrived at Toronto’s Four Seasons Hotel so we knew if Justin was to come, he would probably be staying there too. The morning of Saturday the 18th of June I saw Bruce & Diane Dale walk out of the hotel which for me, confirmed that Justin was definitely coming. A friend and I went up to them and just said hello and asked them how they were. A few hours later, a paparazzi told me the license plate number of the car bringing Justin back from the airport and where to wait to see it. I stood on the side of the street and a few minutes later saw the car with the outline of Justin in the car and for me…that was enough! Later on in the evening, just before the red carpet, a friend and I were waiting to see Lady Gaga outside of her hotel but decided to go for a walk around the other side of the Four Seasons. On the way there, we bumped into Ryan Good who was super sweet and got a picture with him. Once we got on the other side of the hotel, we saw Justin’s car with his driver standing outside. Being my crazy self I decided to ask him if he was Justin’s driver and he was! He took my printed photos of Justin to try and get signed (they didn’t get signed in the end though but that’s ok!) and told us where to stand if we wanted to see Justin. So off to Starbucks we went to wait to witness a glimpse Justin Bieber. We waited for about ten minutes and soon enough, out came the car and Justin quickly rolled down the window so the small group of us there could see him and Ryan Butler! Once the MMVA’s had started we took a walk downtown and saw Justin’s driver once again. My mom thought it would be cute if I got a picture in Justin’s seat and he let me! Justin’s water bottle was on the seat, so obviously he moved it, but I got my picture taken and it was as if the seat was still warm for Justin was sat there moments before myself! My mom thanked the driver for being so kind. That night we got home and got up to try to see Justin at the airport. Justin ended up going into a different entrance but I have to thank my mom for being crazy enough to do that, I love you mommy! After waiting at the airport for an hour we decided to go back to Yorkville and saw Ryan Good again. This time I got an autograph for my best friend and myself as well as an autograph on my home made Bieber shirt from the One Time days. Richard Franco has been arrested for allegedly trespassing on Halle Berry’s property over the weekend, but the crazed fan entered a plea inside a Los Angeles courtroom yesterday and denied all charges. His attorney said Franco was not guilty of felony stalking. In response, the judge issued an unusual restraining order: he ordered Franco to stay at least 500 yards away from Berry, but did NOT make the same decree in regard to Halle’s daughter, Nahla. ‘What Doesn’t Kill You,’ ‘I Forgive You’ and ‘Dumb + Dumb =U’ hit the Internet over the weekend, following earlier leak of ‘Let Me Down.’ By Gil Kaufman Kelly Clarkson Photo: Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images Kelly Clarkson fans got a big sneak preview of the singer’s upcoming album over the weekend when three tracks reportedly slated for her fifth effort leaked onto the Internet. The leaks came less than a week after another never-before-heard song, the rocking “Let Me Down,” popped up online amid rumors that it could be the first single from the still untitled follow-up to 2009’s return to form All I Ever Wanted . Though the audio tracks were quickly pulled down, a number of sites that got a listen described the songs as very different from the angsty “Let Me Down.” One, “What Doesn’t Kill You,” reportedly features the lines, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger/ Stand a little taller/ Doesn’t mean I’m lonely when I’m alone.” The Idolator blog described that song as a Pink-style empowerment anthem. Another leaked song, titled “Forgive You,” is a peace offering to a person from her past, in which Clarkson sings, “We were just a couple of kids trying to figure out how to live, doing it our way/ No shame, no blame, ’cause the damage is done.” She’s back to her old tricks in “Dumb + Dumb = U,” a slap at an unnamed ex who clearly rubbed her the wrong way. The song reportedly has the same pop-rock vibe as Clarkson’s smash hit “Since U Been Gone.” In the latest effort, she gets her revenge in lyrics such as “It ain’t rocket science/ I may not be Einstein, but I know that dumb plus dumb equals you!” A spokesperson for Clarkson could not be reached for comment at press time to confirm the legitimacy of the songs or if they are slated to be included on the album. According to an update from Clarkson earlier this year, the album is due in the fall and she recorded the final tune in late February. Songwriter Claude Kelly told MTV News in March that the delays in the album’s release are tied to efforts by Clarkson’s label to ensure the album is set up correctly. “They want to make sure that the arena is clean for Kelly Clarkson’s return , ’cause when she comes back, she always comes back pretty big,” he said. “They want to make sure when her first single comes out, there’s nothing out there that’s competing with it. The third film in this franchise earned $47 million over the weekend, a 52 percent decrease from its first three days, but good enough for it to have made $261 million in under two weeks. It was the latest R-rated comedy to bank over $25 million on its opening weekend.
