Actress Ellen Page has spoken out about allegations that director Bryan Singer molested Michael Egan while the latter was still in his teens. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Page described the charges as “super disturbing,” adding, “I guess the truth will come out in the way that does, but it’s hard to hear about someone being in that position, someone you like working with.” Page, of course, reprises her role as Kitty Pryde in the upcoming film X-Men: Days of Future Past , which was directed by Singer. “Whatever comes of it,” Page says. “I do think there’s a systemic issue of people in places of power manipulating and abusing young people.” The actress recently made headlines of her own for unrelated and very different reasons. Page came out as gay in February and has since gained legions of new fans and become a sort of representative for the LGBT community in Hollywood. Though she’s probably best known for her role as a pregnant teen in the 2007 film Juno , producers of the latest X-Men film were reportedly so wowed by Ellen’s abilities as an action star that they’ve cast as her a sniper in the forthcoming film Queen & Country . For his part, Singer has denied all of the accusations against him, along with Garth Ancier and Gary Goddard – two other Hollywood moguls who were allegedly a part of the same underground Hollywood sex ring as Singer. Earlier today, Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to set the record straight regarding her wedding. And now we know why. The reality star warned her followers that any wedding dress photo they see on the Internet is either an old version (she has been married twice before, remember) or a Photoshopped version. In other words… don’t believe what you see on the latest cover of In Touch Weekly. The tabloid claims to take readers inside Kim’s “Wedding From Hell,” describing how Kris Jenner is “drunk all day” and Kanye West has already walked out on the nuptials. Most hilariously? The magazine screams that Kim is in “Panic!” mode because her dress doesn’t fit, while depicting a woman having major trouble fitting into her gown. We can confirm, however, that the generously-proportioned female alongside Kardashian’s crying face above is NOT actually Kim Kardashian. Inside the issue, editors actually admit that image on the cover is a “photo recreation” of what allegedly happened to Kim at a fitting. Which may be a new low for one of these publications: it has printed a picture of some random female in order to recreate something that an anonymous source claims happened in real life. It takes a lot for us to defend the woman who let Ray J plow her on video for the Kim Kardashian sex tape , but you’re forcing us to do so here, In Touch Weekly. Give The Biggest Loser winner Rachel Frederickson credit for her attitude. After her stunning 155-pound weight loss – and resulting 105-pound frame – were revealed on the Season 15 finale, the 24-year-old faced major backlash. Millions of viewers of NBC’s weight loss competition, and some of the trainers who helped her, thought she had gone too far and was too skinny now. Rachel Frederickson didn’t see it as just criticism, though. Just concern. “I’ll always be grateful for the concern everyone had,” Rachel tells Us Weekly . “I will say, I had so much positive support, even on social media. A new promotional photo for the upcoming ninth season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians has been released, and the six ladies are front and center. Three Kardashians (Kim, Khloe and Kourtney) and three Jenners (Kris, Kylie and Kendall) pose for the smoldering new image promoting the reality show: In the shot, Khloe Kardashian shows off her 30-pound weight loss, while Kylie and Kendall Jenner show off their youthful, chic and trendy looks. It’s Kim Kardashian who stands out most as usual, though, in the same white dress she wore to the Dream For Future Africa Foundation in October. She’ll stand out on the show as well, as her engagement to Kanye West will be among the featured events we’ll see play out beginning January 19. Khloe Kardashian’s divorce from Lamar Odom, Kris and Bruce Jenner’s separation, and Kendall and Kyle coming of age will also be key focal points. Kourtney? She’ll be around, and probably chastising Lord Disick for his typical antics, but her life has been the least crazy in 2013 by comparison.
