According to Life And Style: Being a mom is hard work — and Wendy Williams knows that all too well. In the new issue of Life & Style, our columnist opens up about the tearful confession she had on her show, regarding her relationship with 13-year-old son Kevin Jr., and the tension they have faced this past year. Like many teenagers, he often refuses to help around the house. But Wendy won’t stand for it. “I’m trying to discipline my son,” Wendy tells Life & Style of her parenting. “I don’t want to be his friend — I am his mother, and I am the boss.” Most importantly, she says, “I will not get lost in the pool of disrespect that I see coming from kids his age. He will not curse at me and he will never, ever roll his eyes!” Though tension runs high, it’s clear Kevin respects his mother no matter what. When he learned about her Jan. 20 breakdown on The Wendy Williams Show, he rushed to her side to reassure her that he loved her. “There’s no guarantee he’ll turn out right — but I’m doing what I think is right as his mom.” He seems like a sweet kid.

The “Single Ladies” star sat down for a quick chat with Wendy Williams on Tuesday and before she ran out of time, Wendy wanted to know where things stand for the old band mates. When asked if she was still cool with Kelly and Bey, LeToya said they were all fine with each other. They’re on good terms, but she wasn’t at Beyonce’s wedding, which didn’t come as a surprise to anyone. LeToya did note that she’s spoken on the phone with Kelly rather recently to deliver her best wishes to the bride-to-be. Since they’re close enough to have each other’s phone numbers, Wendy had to ask whether she was on the guest list for Kelly’s wedding. “You know what? I don’t know!” LeToya politely said, adding that she had spoken with Kelly about the engagement. “I called her and congratulated. I’m so happy for her.” Can’t say we’re too surprised that LeToya wasn’t there to watch Beyonce become Mrs. Carter …wonder if she’ll invite them to her wedding when the time comes?

During her segment on her talk show today, Wendy Williams brought up the recent controversy surrounding Madonna referring to her son as a “nigga.” This somehow segued into Williams saying 13-year old Rocco is a “big of his mother” and totally losing it because her teenage boy doesn’t like her anymore. Wendy Williams Cries About Her Son Hating Her Somewhere Porsha is saying “karma is a beyotch.” According to Radar Online: Wendy Williams is jealous of Madonna‘s relationship with her 13-year-old son and the talk show host broke down, sobbing on her show Monday morning that her own teenage son hates her. Recapping the controversy last week when Madonna posted a photo of Rocco boxing with the caption “Mama said knock you out! #disn*gga,” Wendy got emotional, opening up about her own relationship with her 13-year-old son, Kevin Hunter Jr. “Rocco’s 13-years-old and Rocco is a real fan of his mother,” Wendy says, suddenly melting down into tears. “What I discovered this weekend is that my son doesn’t like me anymore. You know how it is, I know what it is… Kevin, I discovered this a while ago, but the ball just got smacked home this weekend.” The distraught mother continues, “You know, he’s all into his father, you know how 13-year-olds are, I was the same way when I was 13, but it is breaking my heart. “He’s the one who’s 13 and I get it… But it is breaking my heart. And he doesn’t care about Wendy on TV, he doesn’t care about any of that. Anyways, she’s lucky that he likes her.” Wendy says her son and husband, Kevin Hunter, are close at the moment, leaving her alone. “At this time, I can’t understand men who disappear from their kids lives. Thank God he has his buddy, and father,” she says. “He’s a father, he’s a buddy, they talk sneakers, they go for hair cuts, they speed off in the cars and I’m just left there like, ‘Why you so pissed?’ I’m not pissed, I’m a mom!” We hope they can patch things up. Jon Gosselin has given the world a reason to celebrate: He can’t have any more children! Appearing today on The Wendy Williams Show, the former reality star said he and girlfriend Liz Jannetta (yes, someone is dating Jon Gosselin!) won’t be conceiving any time soon. “We can’t have more kids. I’m fixed,” said Jon, who already has eight children with ex-wife Kate Gosselin. Jon has spent a lot of time in the recent past slamming his ex as greedy , exploitive and generally an A-Hole . But he did admit on the talk show that the two are still in contact. “We just text, we don’t talk to each other,” he said. “I only know what she says about me by the media.” Jon has been critical of Kate keeping their kids in the spotlight and he does fear her trying another reality series based around the family. But if she does? “I’ll fight it,” he said. “I don’t need the money, I’ll just go to work. Because I fought so hard to get my kids off of television. It didn’t work in civil court, it didn’t work with TLC, it didn’t work with anyone so I had to go to family court and try and stop it. He continued: “My kids go to private school. They also have trusts. They have education trusts. They have other trusts. Kate and I put 80 percent of the gross of the income in a trust for three years for them. They’re fine.” Jon has been consistent about keeping the children out of the public eye since the TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 ended in 2011. The pair share twin daughters Cara and Madelyn, 13, and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel, 9. Let’s hope none of them ends up in rehab at any point.
