After about 14 months of dating, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her Fox sportscaster bae are engaged to be married. Hill reportedly proposed to Bailey Friday evening with a 5 carat princess cut solitaire ring in Atlanta at the grand opening of her new business, The Bailey WineCeller. The surprise proposal was a family affair an everyone was there including Bailey’s daughter Noelle Robinson and Hill’s two daughters — Kayla and Ashlee — all in attendance, all well as the couple’s closest friends and Bailey’s RHOA cast mates. Mike reportedly enlisted the help of his and Cynthia’s daughters and Courtney Ajinça to make the proposal a total surprise. Hill started off a toast that was interrupted by Kaylee, who handed her dad a bottle with a big question mark on it and said, “No dad, I think you should propose like this.” Mike then called on Cynthia’s daughter, Noelle, to help him open the bottle and she handed over the ring box, the insider added. That’s when Mike reportedly “dropped to one knee and professed his love,” while his and Cynthia’s daughters “gathered behind him with a hand-made puzzle piece sign that real, ‘Can we be a family?’” This will be the second marriage for both Bailey and Hill.

According to TMZ , former NBA player Lorenzen Wright’s wife, Sherra Wright, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for facilitating his murder along with her church friend Billy Turner. For those who don’t remember, Lorenzen was found shot to death in a swamp 10 days after he was reported missing back in 2010. …officials say Sherra called the shots in a diabolical murder plot. Sherra initially planned to kill Lorenzen at his Atlanta home but when that plan failed, she conspired with Turner to murder him in Tennessee instead, prosecutors say. Both Wright and Turner were charged with 1st-degree murder among other charges and she was facing up to 100 years behind bars. But, Sherra cut a deal with prosecutors in which she agreed to plead guilty to facilitation of murder and facilitation to commit attempted 1st-degree murder. Because of the deal, Sherra will be eligible for parole in 9 years. Hopefully, she isn’t granted parole and has to sit her janky a$$ down for the whole 30.

Source: Daniel Allan / Getty Mississippi House Candidate Murders Wife, Commits Suicide A Mississippi state legislature candidate, Carl Robinson, casually walked into his wife’s job at a medical clinic, produced a firearm, fatally shot her, then committed suicide according to Yahoo! News . Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson says that Robinson was served divorce papers Tuesday morning before murdering LaToya Thompson that same morning. Robinson was running for a District 5 House seat that includes parts of Benton, Marshall, Lafayette and Tate counties. He was on the ballot for the Aug. 6 primary election. By all accounts, Carl and LaToya were the “perfect couple” but there was clearly something dark and secretive lying beneath the surface. Tina Bills Herrington, a cousin of Robinson, said that he was the ultimate family man and that Thompson was a very kind person. “He was a great provider for his family, making sure that they didn’t go without,” Herrington said. “LaToya was very calm spirited and wanted to serve her family.” This is craziness. On the latest episode of “Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta” Waka Flocka chats with his mom Ms. Deb about her godson Brandon Barnes. Deb tells Waka she’s unsure if Brandon is telling the truth about training to become a firefighter and Waka’s ADAMANT that he’s a liar. According to Waka Brandon’s a “con artist”, manipulator” and “psychopath” who needs to get checked for previously “playing” his mother. “No way in hell I’m about to let him do it twice. State rep. Erica Thomas who represents District 39, recorded an emotional Facebook Live video detailing an incident at a GA Publix where a white man called her “lazy” and a “son a b***” in front of her child and told her to “go back where she came from.” (Sound familiar? ) “This white man comes up to me and says, ‘You lazy son of [expletive]. You need to go back where you came from,’” said Thomas who noted that he was angry because she was in the Express lane at the grocery store but had 15 items in her cart. “Sir, you don’t even know me.
