Source: John Greim / Getty Tulsa Woman Arrested For Popping Arby’s Customer After Altercation An infuriated Arby’s manager has been arrested after shooting and killing one of their unruly customers. According to the report from Tulsa Worldwide, Deionna Young, 25, was arrested in the shooting death of Desean Tallent, 25, in east Tulsa on Saturday evening. Police say that Tallent and Young got into an altercation Saturday evening about an hour before the shooting, according to a news release. Young was the manager at the Arby’s, where Tallent threatened and assaulted her by spitting on her. About an hour after the initial altercation, Tallent, the unruly customer RETUNED to the location. Why?! Police said Young got in her car and followed Tallent out of the parking lot north on Garnett Road from the store. Young reportedly fired one shot with a .45-caliber handgun, which was not licensed, at Tallent’s SUV and returned to work. Tallent drove the SUV north to Walmart where he crashed into one of the entrances after having suffered a gunshot wound to his upper torso. He later died at the hospital. Young is being held without bond at Tulsa County jail. Insane!

Source: Tetra Images / Getty Officials Investigate Possible Manslaughter An infant’s life tragically ended after his parents tried to perform a procedure that’s probably best left to professionals. According to ABC 7 , a 5-month-old Italian baby died when his parents tried to circumcise him at their home. The child entered cardiac arrest and was brought to the hospital by helicopter for care. But unfortunately, on Friday night it passed away. The prosecutor’s office in the northern province of Reggio Emilia has opened an investigation that could possibly lead to manslaughter charges. The infant is set to undergo an autopsy. This is not the first baby in Italy that tragically died after their parents tried to play doctor. In Rome, a two-year-old died from severe blood loss after their parents tried to circumcise them back in December. In this case, the kid’s twin brother also nearly died, but they survived following intensive care treatment. Italy’s Roman Catholic majority usually refrains from circumcisions, however, many Muslim immigrants practice the act for cultural and religious reasons. They face complications when trying to access the treatment in hospitals. For some, the hospital costs are too steep, and in some Italian hospitals, the doctors refuse to perform circumcisions until the boys have reached age four or older. Foad Aodi, the founder of the association of foreign doctors in Italy (AMSI), has appealed to health officials to allow circumcisions at an affordable prices. He also advocates lowering the age of access to help prevent clandestine attempts at circumcision.

His wife confirmed she was flying in first, then noticed he didn’t ask anyone else… Next, Gary’s wife asked the Delta member if he was going to question anyone else in first class and he said “no.” Really??? Source: NurPhoto / Getty Man Gets Caught Trying To Smuggle An Orangutan Into His Country A Russian man was arrested at an airport in Bali after attempting to smuggle a drugged baby orangutan in his luggage out of the air hub and back to his home country. The tourist is now facing anywhere up to $7,000 in fines and a five year stay in prison. This past Friday night, Andrei Zhestkov was detained at Ngurah Rai International Airport before boarding his flight back to Russia, according to reports from The Independent . Officials found a 2-year-old orangutan fast asleep in a basket–evidently because he was drugged with allergy pills–after a routine security screening. The 27-year-old reportedly told officials that he had been given the protected primate by his friend, who purchased the animal for $3,000 at a street market. He explained that his friend is also from Russia and had apparently convinced him he could take the orangutan home to keep as a pet, according to reports from The Guardian. But that wasn’t all the wildlife this man had stored in his suitcase, authorities also discovered two geckos and five lizards in the man’s luggage. For all of these offenses, the would-be smuggler faces up to five years in prison and $7,000 in fines. “[Zhestkov] seemed prepared, like he was transporting a baby,” Bali conservation official I Ketut Catur Marbawa said of the scene, revealing that the Russian man had also packed baby formula and blankets. The baby orangutan is now being cared for by the Bali Natural Resources Conservation Agency,  BBC reports . As noted by the  World Wildlife Foundation , orangutans are a critically endangered species with a few more than 100,000 known to be remaining across the globe.

It Ain’t Safe: Tyson Recalls Nearly 70,000 Pounds Of Chicken Strips That Might Contain Metal

Source: Ramin Talaie / Getty Tyson Is Recalling Almost 70,000 Pounds Of Their Chicken The United States Department of Argiculture  announced on Thursday that Tyson Foods, Inc. recalled 69,093 pounds of their frozen chicken strip. According to the company, Tyson fears that the food was contaminated with metal. For everyone out there with some chicken in their freezer wondering which product specifically, it’s the buffalo and crispy style ready-to-eat variety, which were produced on November 30, 2018. That means that all of the recalled products should have a “best if used by” date of Nov. 30, 2019, along with the establishment number “P-7221” printed on the back. These products were shipped all around the country, including going to Washington and Michigan for “ institutional use. “ The decision to recall the chicken came after a pair of customers complained of “extraneous material” in their strips. This most recent situation definitely isn’t the first time a product of theirs has caused some trouble for the company–as a matter of fact, it’s not even the first time this year. Tyson asked customers to return 36,000 pounds of chicken nuggets back in January because they may have been contaminated with rubber. The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service gave this recall a “Class I” label, which means a high health risk and a “situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.” Yikes. The agency says if you have any potentially contaminated strips in your fridge or freezer at the moment, you should return them to the store you got them from or just throw them out. The release also points out that “there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.”

Source: Justin Merriman / Getty After Only Three & A Half Hours A Jury Acquitted The Cop That Fatally Shot Antwon Rose According to the NY Daily News , The former Pittsburgh cop that was charged with criminal homicide in the fatal shooting unarmed black teen Antwon Rose was found not guilty. The not guilty verdict came after only 3 & a half hours of deliberation from the jury. Michael Rosfeld was initially charged after giving multiple accounts of the incident that left Rose shot in his face, elbow and back last year. Rosfeld reportedly pulled over the car Rose was riding in on suspicion of having been in the area of a nearby shooting. The former cop initially told investigators that he saw “something dark that he perceived as a gun,” but he later said he didn’t see a gun “when the passengers emerged and ran.” Rose was shot while trying to run away before being handcuffed.

Dr. Johnnie Barto of Johnstown was sentenced Monday on dozens of counts, including aggravated indecent assault and child endangerment reports NBC Philadelphia. Prosecutors say the 71-year-old abused 31 children, mostly patients in his exam room at his pediatric practice and at local hospitals. They allege that he was up to his slimy actions for DECADES and he left children terrified of doctor visits. His estranged wife Linda Barto was one of 19 people who testified against him. She says he “spent his whole sinister life lying and sneaking around so he could carry on his abuse uninterrupted.” One of his victims testified about being assaulted by Barto when she was 12 in the 90s. “He just stuck his hand down my pants, digitally penetrated me, and he moaned,” she said. “The sound of that moan will never leave me.” Prosecutors say his victims were girls and boys mostly between the ages of 8 and 12 but add that his youngest victims were a toddler and two-week-old infant. SMH, so sick and so sad. Good riddance to this guy!
