Source: Vichai Phububphapan / EyeEm / Getty Louisiana Accidentally Overpaid $26 Million In Tax Returns; Now They Want It Back According to ABC News , the state of Louisiana recently announced that a computer error earlier this week accidentally gave some people double the refund they expected. Louisiana officials have already begun the process of recouping the $26 million in duplicate refunds. Most of the accidental refunds will be recovered electronically, with banks withdrawing the direct deposits directly from the bank accounts. “There is no need for the taxpayers to take any action as the department works to recover the overpayment of funds directly from their bank accounts,” Commissioner of Administration Jay Dardenne said in a statement Friday. “With the cooperation of several financial institutions, the process is working.” According to the state, refunds that were processed correctly in early March were accidentally redeposited the following day. The mistake reportedly affected both direct deposit refunds and debit card refunds. SMFH.

Kelly In Recorded Phone Call The Blast has acquired audio of 17-year-old Joycelyn Savage talking to her voice coach about her and R. Kelly’s relationship — and the details she gave are damning! On the 7 minute call, Joycelyn is seeking advice from her friend who happens to be her voice coach. She tells her friend that Kelly is angry she revealed to her family that they “like each other” and were being intimate, while she was only 17. Kelly in return threatened to “cut her off.” Joycelyn tells her R. Kelly demanded she texts him “I lied to my family about us having sex” to cover himself in the future, in case he was caught for statutory rape. She also revealed that the singer may have given her an STD (herpes), and she was nervous about her father finding out if she tested positive for anything. “I never told him [my dad] about the herpes thing.” Joycelyn’s friend tells her that Kelly is just using her to cover his sick azz! “In reality, you shouldn’t have told him anything. You have your family and your family will stick by you. He’s trynna get into your head. At the end of the day, he knows he’s done something wrong.” Click here to listen to the audio ! So Sad: Government Withholds 84-Year-Old Woman’s Social Security Over Claims She Owes $220K For College She Never Attended

Source: ATU Images / Getty Government Withholds 84-Year-Old Woman’s Social Security 84-year-old Mamie Walker depends on her monthly social security check of $1,498 to survive. But for the past two months, the government has sent Mamie nothing but a letter claiming she owes them $224,414.50 in unpaid college debt–but Mamie never even attended college! A letter from the Treasury Department claims she has been referred to them for “collection action.” The letter explains up to 15 percent of each of her checks will be withheld to pay the debt, which was shocking enough, but absolutely no check came at all in February or March. Walker then received another letter stating that she won’t receive another check until September of 2031. “I’ll probably be dead by then,” the 84-year-old said. “I’m so scared. I don’t sleep at night because I’m so scared next week … my lights are going to be off.” Mamie explains that beside not ever going to college, she never learned to read or write at all because she had to go to work as a child to help support her family as a “field hand.” Her son, Morrison Walker, stepped in to help his mother and says she hasn’t been able to pay rent or utilities and is at risk for losing her home.  “I work and I try my best to help her with her bills, but now this done happened and I have my own bills, and she don’t have no income and now they’re trying to put eviction on her house, her water bill skyrocketed, her lights are going to get cut off,” Morrison said. He says that he has tried calling social security about the incident multiple times and listened to “hold music” for hours, only to have no one pick up. He went to a local Social Security office and was told by an employee that it sounds like fraud, but no one offered them any help. Now that her story is out for the world to hear, hopefully Mamie Walker will finally get the help she deserves from her social security checks once again

TMZ has obtained surveillance footage from a store where Michael Jackson allegedly took sex abuse accuser James Safechuck shopping for jewelry back in 1989. Jackson is said to have donned a disguise including a fake mustache, phony teeth, and a wig to shop at a Zales in Simi Valley. Those of you who weren’t born or were too young might not remember, but this lil’ excursion became a big story in the late 80s because security stopped MJ thinking that he was in disguise to rob the store. At the time no one knew that the little boy seen in the video was with Jackson. TMZ has confirmed that the little boy was Safechuck. Obviously, this case will never see a courtroom, but in the court of public opinion this could be very damning to those were on the fence about Jackson’s guilt. In the Leaving Neverland documentary, Safechuck speaks of an “engagement ring” that Jackson bought him. That ring was not purchased during this trip according to TMZ, but the video definitely begs the question “What the HELL was Jackson doing in a jewelry store with a young boy?”. Kelly song in the most public of public ways. De Blasio was recently in South Carolina feeling out a presidential bid when he visited a Black church. While many Black people have either canceled or distanced themselves from R. According to TMZ , the Nigerian brothers, Ola and Abel Osundairo, have now confirmed that the $3,500 check that Jussie wrote to them was indeed for “training and nutrition”. During their self-aggrandizing press conference, Superintendent Eddie Johnson made a big deal of the “fact” that Jussie wrote the check specifically for the staged hate crime. The bros appear to be siding with Jussie on this particular aspect and that leaves a lot of room to speculate about what else CPD has fudged in their 16 count indictment against the Empire actor. So, did the cops blatantly lie? Are the bros now covering for Jussie? Why did they take so long to address this? WHAT THE HELL IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING HERE?!?! Guess we’ll find out next time on Jussieball-Z.
