Cole Linked Up In LA This Weekend Even though Drake has been stirring up beef with his Calabasas companion Kanye West these past few months, it’s nice to see that the Toronto native still has some friends he can turn to in the industry. Just this weekend, the rapper spent part of his Saturday night riding around Los Angeles with J Cole in his Rolls-Royce. Cole, always manages to keep a pretty low profile, seemed to happy as ever as Drake posted footage of the two of them hanging out on his Instagram story. This obviously isn’t the first time that Drake and Cole have linked up or even collaborated, but it has been a while–at least as far as the public knows. The duo got together on-record with 2010’s “In the Morning” and “Jodeci Freestyle,” in 2013–but more recently, the two rappers have been competitors. J. Cole’s KOD broke the 24-hour record for most Apple Music streams and beat Views ‘ Spotify record from that time span, but it’s clear from last night’s video that there are no hard feelings from either side. Though the occurrence was probably just two friends reconnecting and hanging out, it goes without saying that this meet up had fans ready for another collaboration from the two. Who knows if we’ll get a new collab from Drake and J. Cole any time soon, but either way, it’s nice to see the two of them hanging out.

As previously reported Massey was subjected to racial profiling by two employees at a Portland, Oregon Doubletree for talking on the phone to his mother in the lobby. Jermaine posted a video of the incident on Instagram and said a man named Luis told him he was a “safety threat” to other guests and accused him of trespassing. The Portland Doubletree has since apologized to Jermaine…. We sincerely apologize to Mr. Massey for his treatment this past weekend, and deeply regret the experience he endured. It was unacceptable and contrary to our values, beliefs and how we seek to treat all people who visit our hotel. The rapper shared a now-deleted photo of his nasty wound on his Instagram on Saturday night, writing: “I’m just glad I’m ok. Thank god.” Not long before that, the 26-year-old has posted a photo of him on his new toy, saying he made the purchase because he got bored. No word yet on how he’s feeling about that purchase now since the crash. According to reports from the people over at TMZ , sources say that the crash occurred in a dirt lot behind a luxury auto dealership in Calabasas. Rich was seen riding over small hills before he began doing donuts. It’s no surprise that this was the time that the rapper lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip over and land on its roof with him in it. Rich The Kid was transported to a hospital shortly after emergency crews arrived on the scene. He also shared footage of his hospital visit on his social media pages and in one of the clips, Rich is heard telling the medical staff that his hand was broken. At this moment in time, it’s not yet clear how severe the rapper’s injuries are–but sources told TMZ the damage appeared to be pretty serious. An EMT allegedly told Rich he would have trouble “using his hand for the rest of his life,” and that he hoped he wasn’t a guitar player, “as he wouldn’t be able to play anymore.” Get well soon, Rich.

Source: Netflix / Netflix Sandra Bullock Reveals What The “Bird Box” Creatures REALLY Looked Like Chances are you’re one of the 45,037,125 Netflix users (or one of the millions of friends and fam using someone else’s account) that caught Bird Box over the last week , chances are you’ve at least had a passing curiosity about what the entity that had the world on tilt would look like if you dared remove your blindfold and take a peek. Welp, now we have an answer. A deleted scene from the hit flick was set to show the creature in question over Sandra Bullock’s shoulder…but it didn’t make the film’s final cut. Screenwriter Eric Heisserer told Bloody Disgusting that producers pushed him to include a scene that showed the creature to the audience, though that was NOT the original plan. “There was a time when one of the producers was like, ‘No, you have to see something at some point’ and forced me to write essentially a nightmare sequence where Malorie experiences one in that house.” But according to lead actress Sandra Bullock …the end effect was more comical than chilling: “It was a green man with a horrific baby face. It was snake-like, and I was like, ‘I don’t want to see it when it first happens. Just bring it into the room. We’ll shoot the scene.’ I turn and he’s like this [growling at me.] It’s making me laugh. It was just a long fat baby.” A fat green baby-man. Is that what you were picturing? Either way, after dedicating hours of shoot time to this dud of a scene, director Susanne Bier decided to scrap it, noting that not only was it unintentionally hilarious, but it turned the movie into something else entirely. Besides, the point was that everyone saw something personal that drove them to compulsively end it all. “It so easily becomes funny. We actually shot that and spent a lot of energy on, but every time I saw it, I was like this is not going to be tense. It’s just going to be funny. At first, Sandy was like, ‘I don’t want to see it’ because she thought it was scary. Then it was like, ‘Don’t show it to me because [I’ll laugh].’ Every time I did it, I was like, ‘Sh*t, that’s a different film.’” We think it worked much better as it was. What do you think? Source: Jeneil S / Getty 3 Men Charged In Gender Reveal Mass Shooting Three Cincinnati, Ohio area men have been arrested and charged for a mass shooting that took place at a gender reveal party back in 2017 for a woman who wasn’t even knocked up. According to ABC News , the 2017 shooting left one woman dead and eight wounded. Three children and a dog were among the wounded. Police determined the shooting was targeted and drug-related after connecting multiple witnesses to drug rings. “From the very beginning of this investigation, we met significant resistance that is uncommon from victims of crime wanting a resolution,” Denney told the Cincinnati Enquirer. A grand jury indicted 28-year-old Roshawn Bishop, 23-year-old James Echols and 21-year-old Michael Sanon on 22 counts of various charges including murder, aggravated robbery and cruelty to animals. The gunfire at a home northwest of Cincinnati killed 22-year-old Autum Garrett, of Andrews of Indiana. The victim’s husband and two children were injured in the shooting. Garret was the cousin to the host of the party — who investigators claim was not even pregnant at the time. The party was held for then 21-year-old Cheyanne Willis, who claimed to have suffered a miscarriage after being shot in the thigh. Investigators later found that she was not pregnant, to begin with. Source: Getty / Getty Pregnant Mother Of Two Dies In Mississippi Police Custody A Mississippi woman has died in police custody while awaiting trial , and her family wants answers that county officials simply aren’t giving. According to WJTV , 37-year-old Lanekia Michelle Brown had been in the Madison County Jail since shortly after Thanksgiving. She was being held without bond while awaiting trial for a Trafficking of a Controlled Substance charge after she and a male companion were pulled over for careless driving and found with 103 pounds of marijuana in their car’s trunk. Lanekia was a mother of two and was reportedly three to four weeks pregnant with her third child. State Troopers told her mother that she complained of stomach pains, so a nurse was sent to check on her. However, by the time the nurse arrived she had already passed away . The most disturbing part of this story is the fact that Lanekia’s family was not immediately permitted to collect her belongings or identify her body. Brown’s mother and other family members drove over to the Madison County detention facility on Sunday immediately after they were informed of the incident, to do all the aforementioned and get more information about her passing. However, when they arrived they were told to return on Wednesday, Dec. 26th and given no further information on how Lanekia passed. The family suspects foul play, as they say that if Lanekia had any health concerns, she would have been forthcoming and let them know. They report that she was in fine health prior to being taken into custody and never reported any discomfort or health issues when speaking to them. The county coroner is set to complete an autopsy and the state bureau of investigations plans to take over the case. SMH. We’ll follow up with more information as this story develops. Getty

Things later reached a fever pitch when Shamari accused Marlo of being messy by targeting her wardrobe and a “b***/”yo mama” argument ensued. But I was put off at her approach and the fact that she basically was trying to make me a carbon copy of herself.
