Here we go again…SMH Jada Pinkett is back on her headbanger boogie steez and has reunited with her heavy-metal rock band Wicked Wisdom. The group has not performed together much since 2005 when they hit the road on the Ozzfest tour and was subsequently booed off stage…EVERY NIGHT! For whatever reason, Jada thought it would be good to reunite the guys and give it one more go. The group shot a new music video a few days ago and has released some behind the scenes footage of the shoot. Take a looky after the flizzip.
Jermaine “Huggy” Hopkins and Sam Hurd should get together. Hopkins, the teenage star who went toe-to-toe with Morgan Freeman in the inspirational 1989 movie Lean on Me , has been busted for selling pot in Phoenix. We’re not talking personal-use quantities of the herb, either. According to local Fox affiliate KSAZ, Hopkins was swept up in a drug sting conducted by undercover detectives from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. The actor engaged them in a drug deal involving 200 pounds of marijuana he had in his SUV, along with $100,000 cash. Cops then took him into custody . Officer Christopher Hegstrom says Jermaine Hopkins was booked into jail on two felony counts of possessing, transporting and trying to sell marijuana. A subsequent search of his apartment in nearby Avondale, Ariz., also turned up another 100 pounds, its value was estimated at approximately $50,000. Hopkins actually lives in North Carolina but for whatever reason, made Arizona his place of “business.” Now it looks he may be a resident for a long time. Hey, at least the weather’s nice this time of year.
Kris Jenner doesn’t understand why everyone is ganging up on her daughter. So, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage? So what?!? “She’s not the first person in the world to get a divorce or to have something like this happen to, and she won’t be the last… People have to stop judging,” Kim’s mom-ager said yesterday on the Johnjay and Rich show. Despite the fact that Jenner orchestrates every aspect of her daughter’s career – Kris pushed for Kim to pose in Playboy and, many believe, encouraged her to leak her sex video with Ray J – she has chosen to play dumb when it comes to this split. “For whatever reason, Kim felt [divorce] was the decision for her,” Jenner said. “I can’t judge her and I can’t speculate.” We can speculate: Kris has a book out , Rob Kardashian is on Dancing with the Stars and season two of Kourtney & Kim Take New York premieres this month. The star was in Germany at the weekend and larked about trying on a blonde wig during filming of TV show Wetten Dass…? at a fairground in Augsburg. Bieber recently told UK tabloid The People that he and Pattinson bonded at an industry party over their famous locks, saying, “One day Robert Pattinson came up to me at a party and said, 'For whatever reason, people love our hair and it's always a great ice-breaker with girls.'” “He is like, 'Hey, my name's Robert. Want to touch my hair?' I thought he was joking, but it really works.” Now Pattinson, who is hard at work promoting his upcoming film Water for Elephants , says that encounter never happened. He told MTV (via EOnline ) on Friday, “I've never met this guy. I saw that as well. I was like, 'You're really famous, man—what are you doing? You don't need to use me to make up stories!” Maybe Bieber was just embellishing for the sake of avoiding talking about his private life. Which is something you'd think Pattinson would understand, given the constant speculation about his relationship with his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart .
