Pippa, who dutifully carried big sister Kate’s cathedral-length train during the royal wedding in April 2011, may soon hear wedding bells herself. We’ve heard this before, however. Pippa and Nico Jackson, a stockbroker she’s dated for two years, have been reportedly engaged at least twice before. Those stories weren’t true. Is this one? Like many (okay, most) Kate Middleton stories, we’ll believe it when we see it, but we’re happy Pippa is happy with her longtime beau in any case. “She’s on the brink of getting engaged,” a royal insider exclusively reveals. “She’s dropped hints to Nico, but ultimately she’s letting him pick the ring.” As soon as Nico pops the question, they won’t be wasting any time: “[The engagement] will probably last only six to nine months!” the insider adds.
