One Direction Make History With #1 Billboard Debut

British boy band are first U.K. group to have a debut album enter American albums chart in the top spot. By Gil Kaufman One Direction Photo: Getty Images British boy band One Direction will set a record next week when their first album, Up All Night, debuts at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart. Yes, believe it or not, Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis will be the first British group to have their debut album enter the chart at #1 with their first effort thanks to sales of 176,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan. That’s just enough to keep fellow Brit Adele at #2 for a second week, as sales of 21 dropped 24 percent to 148,000. Last week’s #1, Bruce Springsteen ‘s Wrecking Ball, dropped by 71 percent to 57,000 as it falls to #4 in its second week. The only other new face in the top 10 is worship band Passion , whose White Flag debuts at #5 on sales of 49,000. The rest of the top 10: Guns N’ Roses benefited from 25-cent sales on Google Music and Amazon, as their Greatest Hits jumps more than 600 percent to #3 on sales of 85,000. Whitney Houston ‘s Greatest Hits holds steady at #6 (45,000), and Drake also hangs in at #7 with Take Care (36,000). NOW 41 falls five spots to #8 (29,000), Gotye moves up 7 spots to #9 with Making Mirrors (24,000) and fun. tick up a few to #10 with Some Nights (22,000). Further down the line, veteran rapper Tech N9ne debuts at #15 with the Klusterfuk EP (17,000) and Say Anything hit #22 with Anarchy, My Dear (14,000). Ray J Rep: No Whitney Houston Sex Tape Here!

Considering his resume, we suppose this rumor was inevitable… A rep for Ray J has come out and shot down chatter that his client is in possession of a sex tape, and/or any amateur pornographic material, starring the singer and late girlfriend Whitney Houston. “The despicable tabloid report released today claiming the existence of a sex tape between Ray J and Whitney Houston is not true,” this source tells TMZ, denying accusations that Ray J is holding naked videos or photos of Whitney for ransom. Ray J, who was dating Houston at the time of the her death, has reportedly agreed to enter grief counseling in order to deal with his pain. His reputation for filming bedroom conquests was solidified after he captured himself and Kim Kardashian boning and helped sell it to the public.

Rep Shoots Down Bobbi Kristina Brown Engagement Rumors

Bobbi Kristina Brown is not engaged to Nick Gordon , the 22-year old taken in by Whitney Houston many years ago and raised as one of her own. At least not according to Brown’s rep. Talk of an engagement heated up last week after Bobbi was seen out and about with a massive diamond ring on her finger, but this source tells E! News there’s nothing more to that development than an apparent tribute to her late parent. She’s “simply wearing her mother’s ring,” the Bobbi Kristina insider says . Bobbi, meanwhile, hasn’t talked publicly since sitting down last week with Oprah Winfrey , but she has been communicating via Twitter, retweeting a number of supportive messages, such as: “@REALbkBrown don’t justify to these people. Looks like Whitney was mother and trusted you to protect her greatest treasure BKBro.”

It appears that Bobby Brown may “benefit” from Whitney Houston’s death. Word is, Bobby Brown is currently shopping his self-written bio-pic and you can count on a few details about his marriage with Whitney being in it. The script entitled The Bad Boy of R&B: The Bobby Brown Story was initially being sent out to potential backers late last year but received very little interest. The script’s ending will now have to be re-written to include the untimely death of the Bodyguard star, a source tells us. Ray J, a hip hop artist and reality star previously best known for videotaping himself having sex with Kim Kardashian , is not taking the death of Whitney Houston well at all. Describing the late singer as “the love of [Ray J’s] life,” a source tells Radar Online that this amateur sex tape director will soon seek professional help. “He has saved voice mail messages on his cell phone from her that he has been listening to,” this insider claims . “His sister Brandy has urged him to go to counseling to deal with this loss, and he has finally agreed.” “Ray is just numb and he needs to be able to start to deal with these feelings.” Ray J spoke out a couple weeks ago about the pain from Whitney’s passing and said God has been talking him through it . Fans of Whitney Houston can relive one of the highest points of her career on March 28th when “The Bodyguard” hits movie theaters for one night only! Before you start thinking that the re-release of the film is to capitalize off of Whitney Houston’s death, its not…really. 2012 happens to be the year that will commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the movie. Although the event will not be branded as a “tribute” to Whitney Houston, it will surely be an opportunity for fans to reflect on Whitney’s amazing acting and singing talents. Leah Remini: Sharon Osbourne Got Me Fired!

Seven months after getting fired from The Talk, Leah Remini is finally ready to talk … and lay the blame squarely at the feet of co-star Sharon Osbourne. Responding to comments from Osbourne, Remini, 41, opened up about why she and fellow co-host Holly Robinson Peete were let go after one season. “Sharon thought me and Holly were ‘ghetto’ … not funny, awkward and didn’t know ourselves,” Remini Tweeted. “She has the power that was given to her.” Remini began tweeting in reaction to an interview Osbourne, 59, gave on The Howard Stern Show. Osbourne rebuffed Remini’s accusations Tuesday. “In response to Leah Remini’s continuous comments that I had her fired, let me just go on record to say I had absolutely nothing to do with her departure.” “I have no idea why she continues to take to Twitter to spread this false gossip.” “Leah knows that I have never been in the position to hire or fire anyone on the show,” she continued. “That being said, my only wish is that Leah would just stop all this negative, unprofessional and childish behavior.” “It’s been seven months. It’s time to move on. Leah is a very talented actress and I only wish her happiness and success.” Remini and Robinson Peete’s exits followed that of Marissa Jaret Winokur, who left the show in January 2011. After several guest co-hosts, Remini and Robinson Peete were permanently replaced by Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood. Sara Gilbert and Julie Chen also appear on the daytime chat fest, CBS’ version of the The View . The Talk was recently renewed for a third season by CBS. Despite Osbourne’s comments Tuesday, Remini doesn’t seem to be backing down anytime soon. In fact, she pretty much stated that she won’t be. “If someone wants me to stop, they should call a lawyer and tell them what I am NOT telling the truth about,” she said. “We can go from there.”
