According to RadarOnline : Whitney Houston’s family, spearheaded by her mother, Cissy, is asking law enforcement to look into death scene photos that were leaked to the media in the days after the pop superstar died at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, including one pic of her body being wheeled out on the gurney in a body bag, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. A few days after Whitney passed away on February 11, a media outlet (not RadarOnline.com) published a photo of Houston in a body bag on a gurney being taken out of the hotel. The entire floor was on lockdown, and the area was secured by the Beverly Hills Police Department. There is surveillance video from the hallway of the person who took the picture of Whitney in the body bag, and the Houston family wants to know who it is and have asked for an investigation into the leak of the photos. The Houstons have been told by cops that after her case is officially closed, they can look into the matter. It might not be the the Beverly Hills Police Department that would handle that, but this is very important to the Houston family to know. “They need and deserve to know who took the pictures, and if the person profited from it,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. Ewww, gross… A 5-year-old girl is getting ready to undergo a battery of tests after she found a condom on her school playground and thought it was a balloon. The condom was found in wood chips on the playground at Acres Green Elementary School in Littleton on Thursday. “One of my daughter’s friends brought it over to my daughter and gave it to her as a gift,” the father told 7NEWS. “At that point, my daughter attempted to blow it up.” After playing with the condom, the girl put it in her pocket. “My concern is not knowing if it was used or not (and) my daughter putting it to her mouth,” the father said. We are not naming the father or girl to protect her. B-b-but wait it gets worse… 7NEWS discovered the condom the girl found on the playground was not the only one. “The school went out as soon as they found out about it and went through the playground and did find a few other items, condoms, out on the playground,” said Randy Barber, spokesman for the Douglas County School District. Says the little girl’s father about the incident: “It’s not something I ever thought I would deal with in my life or even conceive of dealing with,” said the father. “It’s real. An American television producer found dead on a hotel balcony in Uganda last week died after taking contaminated coke, police and a private investigator said on Saturday. An official toxicology report confirmed the narcotic was in Jeff Rice’s blood, dispelling initial suspicions the father of two known for his work on the U.S. show “The Amazing Race” had been poisoned by attackers. Rice, who was found slumped over a table bleeding through the nose and mouth, died of asphyxiation, a post mortem showed. Drug users who fall unconscious risk inhaling vomit. “Rice … used cocaine which had lethal additives and that’s what killed him,” Uganda police spokesperson Asuman Mugenyi told Reuters. Brad Nathanson, a private investigator and friend of Rice, said he had been shown the toxicology report by police and there was no evidence of foul play in Rice’s death. “In fact it was as a result of buying bad drugs, coke to be specific … it was a bad concoction,” Nathanson told reporters. “I have read the toxicology report … it shows that there were small traces of coke in their blood and urine,” he said, adding he had traveled to Uganda as a friend of the Rice family following rumors he had been poisoned, and not for payment. Rice’s assistant, identified as Kathryne Fuller, was found unconscious when Rice’s body was discovered Feb. 18 at the Serena hotel in the capital, Kampala. She is now reported to be conscious but paralyzed down the right side of her body. Early on, there had been speculation that the two had been poisoned, then that they might have been forced to consume the drugs, because of the high amount of coke in Rice’s stomach. NBC News contributor Clint van Zandt said on the “TODAY Show” on Saturday that it seemed unlikely that Rice would have willingly taken that amount of coke. If Rice and Fuller were believed to have voluntarily consumed the drugs, Fuller could be prosecuted under Uganda’s drug laws. Ugandan police said on Saturday they had arrested a man who confessed selling drugs to the pair who had been in the east African country working on a documentary. SMH. OC Weekly ‘s Michelle Woo reports: A friend of mine, Michael Schennum, is the short-haired gentleman in the top row, center, behind the letter “M.” He is half Chinese and half white. Not Latino. Not even a little bit. Not even one of those Chinese-Mexicans from Mexicali that OC’s own Robert Chao Romero likes to write about. At least as far as Schennum knows. Schennum, who is a staff photographer for The Arizona Republic, wrote on his Facebook page, “They never told me what it was for or [asked] if I was Latino.” A Time spokesperson sent OC Weekly this response. We took steps to ensure that everyone self-identified as Latino, that they are registered voters and that they would be willing to answer our questions. “It’s Friday, you ain’t got no job, and you ain’t got isht to do!” *Chris Tucker voice* The author of the study said it can’t prove whether that’s due to the drug’s effects, the social environment in which it’s used or whether pot smokers are just more likely to be laid-back from the get-go. Though researcher Christer Hyggen suspects pot is the culprit, another possible explanation is that people who aren’t so happy with their work situation or motivated on the job are more likely turn to drugs. “There’s a popular belief that people who smoke cannabis are slackers and that they don’t want to work,” Hyggen, from the Oslo-based social research institute NOVA, told Reuters Health. To see how well that perception held up, he analyzed data from a 25-year-long study of close to 1,500 Norwegians. Starting in 1987, when they were in their late teens and early 20s, participants filled out surveys that included questions on their recent pot use on five different occasions, into their 40s. They also rated their attitudes on statements that reflected work commitment, such as “It is very important for me to have a job” and “I feel restless when I have no work to do,” ranked on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 reflecting the most commitment. People who reported smoking in the past year generally reported less dedication to work than abstainers, according to findings published in the journal Addiction. The results of the study are as follows: By the last survey, in 2010, the 63 repeat users had an average score of 3.9 on questions of work commitment. That compared to scores between 4.2 and 4.3 in participants who had only experimented with (cannibis) (ed.) or never tried it, including those who said their friends used the drug but they didn’t. The findings suggested that over time, “people who quit smoking cannabis increase their work commitment, and people who take up smoking cannabis reduce their work commitment,” Hyggen said. The family of Whitney Houston is reacting to The National Enquirer posting a photo of that singer’s corpse as you might expect: with outrage and heartbreak. TMZ cites sources who say Whitney’s mother, Cissy, is especially distraught over the tabloid actually taking this measure, but there are no plans to open any kind of investigation into the source of this photo, which the newspaper has the nerve to refer to as ” beautiful .” Meanwhile, Carolyn Whigham, owner of the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark, tells The Daily News that neither she nor her staff had anything to do with the image or its leak. “We did not take that photo. We did not sell the photo. We would never do something like that,” she said to the newspaper . “Whitney was a friend. I’m the one who flew to Los Angeles and got Whitney from the coroner’s office. I did everything to protect her.”

Pray for one of the greatest leaders… Former South African President Nelson Mandela has been hospitalized with a stomach ailment, according to a government statement issued Saturday about the 93-year-old anti-apartheid icon. President Jacob Zuma asked that Mandela’s privacy be respected, and did not say at which hospital Mandela was being treated. Mac Maharaj, Zuma’s spokesman, said he could not elaborate but that he would be issuing regular updates. Mandela became South Africa’s first black president in 1994 after spending 27 years in prison for his fight against racist apartheid rule, and was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts. His public appearances have become increasingly rare, and he was hospitalized last year for a few days with an acute respiratory infection. We hope he has a full recovery very soon! More On Bossip!
