Family members have suggested that Bobbi turned to drugs as a coping mechanism following the death of Whitney Houston . Now, a young man who was close to the situation says that was definitely not the case. Walker says that Bobbi and Nick’s drug use had been going on for several years before Houston’s passing. In fact, Walker claims that Houston may have played an instrumental part in getting Bobbi hooked in the first place. “This isn’t something that just came about when Whitney died and they started doing it…I would be on the phone with Nick and I would hear Whitney asking for the stuff…Same stuff they were doing.” Asked if Whitney was “allowing drug use in the house,” Walker replied, “Definitely.” He answered in the affirmative again when asked if Houston used drugs along with Bobbi and Nick.
