Sadie Robertson: Going Dancing With the Stars!

Sadie Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame is going Dancing With the Stars, according to a reports, as the show seeks younger, fresher celebrity star power. The 17-year-old daughter of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson and wife Korie Robertson will be a contestant on the upcoming season September 15. Korie hinted this spring that this might have been in the works, saying, “I think our kids are really natural in front of the camera and they have fun with it.” Sadie Robertson, who also designed her own line of prom dresses, “wants to maybe be on a talk show … she wants to be on Dancing with the Stars! ” The teenager has also performed a duet with country superstar Allison Kraus, and co-hosts YouTube series called “The New Different” with Kolby Koloff. Above everything else in life, Sadie says, “Faith is obviously my number one priority and I think you need to put God at the top of everything you do.” The young Robertson joins competitors Janel Parrish, Lolo Jones, and Antonio Sabato Jr., along with Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman and/or Josh Murray. Other would-be celebrity cast members reportedly in talks to join DWTS include The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss and Jessie James Decker . If you haven’t been keeping up on the bizarre Dr. Seuss-related conflict between Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent, allow us to bring you up to speed: Earlier this week, 50 challenged Mayweather to read one page of a Harry Potter book  in a video that was supposed to be a take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but seemed to kind of miss the point of those clips. 50 Cent Feuds With Floyd Mayweather The next day,  audio of Mayweather struggling to read  was released by an NYC radio show, and it became apparent that the champ might actually be semi-illiterate. Some responded by saying that the situation is sort of sad and we probably shouldn’t be mocking Mayweather. 50 responded by downgrading his challenge to “one page of the Cat in the Hat.” Now Mayweather has responded in his own fashion: Those are checks from Mayweather’s last two fights. Proof that they don’t call him “Money” for nothing. The boxer tweeted the proof of his jaw-dropping paydays with the caption “Read this $72,276,000.00. Both parties have denied the existence of a Brody Jenner-Kim Kardashian feud , but actions speak louder than words. and it’s clear from their recent activities that there’s some serious bad blood between these two. First Brody skipped Kim’s wedding , with the lame excuse that he had to work that weekend. Then, Brody attended the wedding of Reggie Bush , whom Kim dated for on and off for three years. Yesterday, in what may have been the biggest eff-you of all, Brody threw a massive party for his 31st bithday…and invited the entire family except for Kim and her mom, Kris Jenner. And sources say it wasn’t a case of Kim’s invitation getting lost in the mail. Floyd Mayweather’s bizarre habit of feuding with famous rappers has caused trouble for the boxer in the past. (Most notably when T.I. brawled with Mayweather in Vegas .) But now a hip hop artist who Mayweather  hasn’t directly picked a fight with is talking smack for seemingly no reason. It all started when Mayweather gave an interview earlier this week in which he addressed claims that he slept with T.I.’s wife , and other incidents in which he pissed off rappers. “Hip hop artists, they come and go, they come and go,” said Mayweather. “But I’m still here.” He went on to imply that he’s currently beefing with three rappers, all of whom are washed-up. 50 seems to believe that description applies to him. 50 Cent Feuds With Floyd Mayweather The rapper (who is, in fact, kinda washed-up) posted a video today in which he explained why Mayweather should have no ill will toward him, but should kick the ever-loving crap out of Nelly: “I’m like what he say f-k me for?” said in response to the interview. “Nelly f–ked your first baby mama, Melissa. Then he took your f–king fiance. [You should say] f–k that n-ga!” Many have since pointed out that Nelly is currently dating Mayweather’s ex, Shantel Jackson . Yes, 50’s hilariously offensive take on the ASL challenge is something he calls the ESL (English as a second language) challenge. Don Pardo Dies; Saturday Night Live Announcer Was 96

Don Pardo, the voice behind Saturday Night Live for 38 seasons, passed away on Monday, according to his daughter. He was 96 years old. Pardo broke into broadcasting at a small radio station in Providence, Rhode Island and moved to New York City in 1944 to begin his six-decade tenure as a staff announcer at NBC. You may not know his face, but you’ve heard his voice: Transitioning to television, Pardo announced for such shows as Jeopardy!, The Kate Smith Evening Hour, NBC Nightly News, The Price Is Right, Three on a Match and Winning Streak. On November 22, 1963, Pardo delivered the audio news bulletin to NBC viewers that President John F. Kennedy, Jr. had been shot in Dallas. Pardo – a Massachusetts native who grew up in Connecticut – lost his wife, Kay, in 1995. He served as the sole SNL announcer for every season except one (1981-1982) and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 2010. “RIP Don Pardo.  A voice that meant so much,” Tweeted Seth Meyers upon learning the news, while Bobby Moynihan added: “On Sept 13th 2008 I heard Don Pardo say my name for the first time. But who would ever suspect the elder A-list to get down like the young folks? Via TMZ : Denzel Washington just left an Orange County residence where he was staying for more than 2 weeks to detox after a wild, alcohol-fueled, gluttonous month-long vacation … TMZ has learned. Sources connected with the actor tell TMZ Denzel was on a yacht during the month of July with his wife … and was partying and partying hard. When he returned to L.A. … our sources say Denzel went to the OC residence where he had professionals help him “detox.” One source says this was more than just alcohol … it was an overall cleanse for toxins. In addition to the professional who supervised the detox, we’re told Denzel had a nutritionist, a trainer and a chef. Denzel we’re told is out and back on his game. Denzel ain’t no spring chicken…sounds like all that boozing and good eating (and…?) caught up to him QUICK. Glad he’s back on point!
