According to MailOnline reports : A Georgia man has been ordered to pay his former fiance $50,000 for ‘breach of promise’ and fraud after he left her for another woman. Melissa Cooper successfully sued her former lover Christopher Kelley after she gave up her job and moved in with him only to be thrown out when she discovered his relationship with another woman. Ms Cooper contended in her lawsuit that she quit her job to become a housewife for her former beau, their child and another child he had from a former relationship. She made that sacrifice under the premise she would be his wife. Cooper testified that she was devastated by Kelley’s fraud and breach of promise to marry and that she quit her job to raise the couple’s children in reliance on the promise,’ the ruling cited by CNS said. Her promiscuous partner made his bed by cheating on her multiple times and carrying on a relationship with another woman despite handing her a $10,000 engagement ring, she argued. In 2011, she discovered the secret affair, the second she had found during their relationship, and he demanded she move out of their home – with both children. The scorned would-be spouse then sued the cheating Mr Kelley for fraud and breach of promise to marry. How is this guy gonna kick her out AND make her take his kid by another woman? And it gets worse, the guy tried to save his azz in the lawsuit by claiming their relationship was meretricious, which is defined as “having the nature of prostitution!” In the state’s Appeals Court last month, Mr Kelley unsuccessfully tried to use a legal techincality to argue that the promise to marry was made in a relationship similar to prostitution, according to CNS. The state court of appeals ruled that the relationship did not involve the exchange of money for cohabitation and sexual favors, making the defense inapplicable. Mr Kelley also tried to claim he merely gave Ms Cooper the ring without proposing, but the court not only shot that down, it held it up as proof he never intended to marry her. I never initiated the concept of marriage with her, outside of giving her that ring,’ Mr Kelley testified, according to CNS. ‘I never said the words ‘will you marry me’ to her.’ ‘This testimony, when juxtaposed with Cooper’s testimony about the proposal and her acceptance, can be construed as an admission that Kelley never intended to marry Cooper,’ said the court decision. Nelson Mandela has died at the age of 95, according to reports. Increased activity was noted around the Johannesburg home of South Africa’s first black president, who has been very ill, in the past 24 hours. Mandela’s death was confirmed just minutes ago. South African President Jacob Zuma announced Mandel’s passing, which marks the final chapter in a revolutionary life that changed South Africa forever. Zuma spoke about his predecessor on national TV. “Our nation has lost its greatest son, yet what made Nelson Mandela great was precisely what made him human,” Zuma said. “We saw in him what we seek in ourselves.” “In him, we saw so much of ourselves.” Family members had gathered after Mandela’s eldest daughter said the ailing icon was putting up a fight from what she nonetheless called his “deathbed.” Nelson Mandela spent nearly three months in the hospital with a lung infection earlier this year, but kept pressing on, as has always been his way. He had been receiving intensive home-based care since he was released in September, but his health slowly declined and he passed away today. Mandela’s journey and struggle remain one of the defining stories of the 20th Century. Trained as a lawyer, he became involved in politics after 1948. As South Africa moved into a system of racial apartheid, he initially spoke out and espousing non-violent protests with the African National Congress (ANC). However, he eventually founded a militant organization and was behind a bombing campaign in the early ’60s. He was sentenced to life in prison in 1962. Mandela’s imprisonment soon became an international cause, and was eventually released in 1990 after intervention by President F. W. de Klerk. A free man at last, he spearheaded South Africa’s transition from white-minority rule after that, marking the end of apartheid with the aid of de Klerk. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 and was elected South Africa’s first black president in 1994. He stepped down after five years in office. Mandela is survived by his wife, Graca Machel, six children, and 17 grandchildren.

Amina Buddafly Opens Up About Wedding With Peter Gunz Amina Buddafly might have her married name tattooed on her side, but the singer/reality star didn’t have a traditional wedding or a ring when she up and married Peter Gunz. Via S2S Magazine reports: “We woke up, and we wasn’t drunk anymore. It was early in the morning, and we were both clear in our heads. It was a spontaneous thing,” Amina told Power 107.5 radio. “We had been talking about it for a few weeks, for a little while.” Amina said there was a witness present, but she didn’t even have a ring at the time of the ceremony. Though Amina admits she suspected Peter was dealing with other women during that time, she wasn’t concerned enough about it to investigate Peter’s situation. “As we moved on, months passed. I was wondering and I asked him, but it was always about him and I,” she said. Peter’s longtime girlfriend and babymama Tara Wallace has stated that she thinks Amina should have known or made an effort to find out about his other relationships. “I really didn’t bother,” she said. “Maybe I should have.” Though she felt unrecognized for some time, Amina didn’t publicly claim her title as Peter’s wife until season 4 of “Love & Hip Hop: New York” started taping. That’s when she decided to reveal their secret marriage. “I just need to make it clear. I’m the wife. It needs to be respected. Everyone’s talking bad about me, calling me all these names. In Season 2, Matt Hoover took home The Biggest Loser title after dropping 157 pounds. He fell in love with co-star Suzy Preston, who lost 95 pounds. The couple married less than a year later, and they remain married today. Oprah first caught up with Suzy after she gave birth to their second child. “I hadn’t eaten anything good in two years,” she said. “Once the doctor said, ‘You really shouldn’t be on such a restrictive diet,’ I said, ‘Okay. No problem.'” Today, Matt and Suzy say they no longer live by a number on a scale. They’ve regained some of the weight, but keep active with their two boys. Season 5’s Mark Kruger, a father of two who originally weighed 285, says he’s been able to maintain the nearly 100 pounds he lost on the show. He tells Oprah he’s doing better than ever these days by avoiding the pitfalls of processed foods and by working out six days out of every week. This is a terribly tragic story. On Sunday, Virginia resident Sally Ann Okuly left her house for the first time in six months, the mother of two finally feeling strong enough to do so after being hit by a motorcycle and being diagnosed with cancer over the past year. But soon after getting the newspaper and a cup of coffee, Okuly was struck and killed by a car. Cancer Survivor Killed by Car “One of her favorite things to do was to walk over across that street to the Wawa gas station,” said her husband, Bill Okuly, who would have celebrated his 41st wedding anniversary with Sally Ann the day after she died. Amanda Styles-Mays was behind the wheel at the time of the accident and has been charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian and reckless driving. Bill describes his wife as “the most giving person ever” and tries to find solace in a spirit he believes will always remain with him. “Oh yeah, she’ll always be there,” he says.
