In new court documents filed Tuesday, Kris Humphries brings up the Kim Kardashian baby in the room and wonders why his wife’s pregnancy should play any factor at all in this ex-couple’s ongoing divorce battle. Claiming his client should not be pressured to speed up the process, Marshall Waller writes : “What is really going on here is that an ‘urgency’ in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something [Humphries] had nothing to do with, is perceived by [Kim] as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial.” With Kardashian worried about her fetus due to this never-ending legal battle, Humphries’ team asks: “Why would [Kim] plan to get pregnant in the midst of divorce proceedings?” The divorce proceedings have dragged on for nearly a year-and-a-half now, yet Humphries is basically saying he doesn’t understand the rush to complete them. He also insists on present for Kim’s deposition… but his work schedule prevents this from happening until at least the middle of May.

Guess that’s the way the cake crumbles? Yet another bakery is turning down business for faith based reasons, specifically when it comes to gay matrimony-dom. Via Salon reports : Oregon baker Aaron Klein could face legal action after refusing to do business with a same sex couple who sought a cake for their upcoming wedding. As reported by KATU, the woman who filed the complaint says she had previously purchased a wedding cake from Sweet Cakes Bakery for her mother without incident, but was denied service after she told Klein the cake she wanted to buy was for her same-sex wedding. Klein admitted he refused the bride-to-be, telling NBC, “I believe that marriage is a religious institution ordained by God. A man should leave his mother and father and cling to his wife… that to me is the beginning of marriage.” While he won’t bless the union of a gay couple with a too-thick layer of buttercream frosting and overly dry white cake, he is not anti-gay, Klein says. “I’ll sell [gay people] stuff… I’ll talk to them, it’s fine,” he told NBC. This isn’t the first time a bakery has become an unlikely battleground in the gay marriage debate. In 2011, Iowa baker Victoria Childress came under fire for refusing service to a same sex couple at their pre-wedding tasting. Again, Childress cited her religious beliefs and freedom of speech as a justification for the denial. And again, she didn’t see it as discrimination. “I didn’t do the cake because of my convictions for their lifestyle. It is my right as a business owner. It is my right, and it’s not to discriminate against them. It’s not so much to do with them, it’s to do with me and my walk with God and what I will answer [to] him for,” she told KCCI. In 2012, Jack Phillips, the owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, found that refusing to bake for a gay couple’s wedding was a boon to his business. After the incident, “We had about twice as much business as normal” Phillips told KDVR. “There are people coming in to support us.” While many states have laws banning discrimination based on sexual orientation in employment and housing, the law is less clear when it comes to things like selling cakes. In Oregon, the question for the Attorney General’s civil enforcement officers is whether or not Klein’s religious beliefs defend him against the Oregon Equality Act of 2007, which prohibits discrimination against people based on their sexual orientation and gender identity. Last year, the New Hampshire legislature introduced a bill that would allow businesses to refuse business to gay and lesbian customers seeking wedding-related services through a conscience clause. As reported by the Eagle Tribune, the proposed bill could enshrine discrimination in state law, enabling more than just bakeries to refuse services to their customers: Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person, including a business owner or employee thereof, shall be required to provide services, accommodations, advantages, facilities, goods, or privileges to an individual if the request is related to the solemnization, celebration, or promotion of a marriage and providing such services, accommodations, advantages, facilities, goods, or privileges would be a violation of the person’s conscience or religious faith. A person’s refusal to provide services, accommodations, advantages, facilities, goods, or privileges in accordance with this section shall not create any civil claim or cause of action or result in any state action to penalize or withhold benefits from such person. But what caused JoJo to ever begin drinking? Is he ready to stop? And how has abuse affected Tashaunda as a mother and her relationship with JoJo? Jamie: Do you remember starting with alcohol? JoJo: You know, it’s been so long. Ever since Jodeci had their first hit, that’s when everything started spiraling downward. I mean with the whole band, individually and as a group. From then on I really didn’t have no feelings about it. It was just party and BS. But I didn’t think it was taking a toll on me until the first time that I said I wasn’t going to drink anything, and I fell into a seizure. So that was like a withdrawal. Jamie: This is really something. Do you have problems with your liver or anything now? JoJo: The only thing that’s going on with me now—and I thank God I’m still here able to talk to you again—is my pancreas. I drank so much until a small part of my pancreas had ate away. That’s no pain you want to feel. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy. Jamie: If you were to start all over today, knowing what you know now, what would you do or not do? JoJo: Knowing what I know now, I don’t think I would have been in Jodeci. S2S also asked his wife about her temptation to kick JoJo’s azz to the curb. Jamie: Tiny was it difficult loving him through this? JoJo: Good question. I want to know the answer to this. Jamie: Because that’s hard on you. He’s not even who he is when he’s drinking. Tashaunda: Right. There have been some difficult moments where I felt like running away but I know that there’s this beautiful person in there and he’s hiding behind alcohol. If you marry somebody, you love them unconditionally. It’s not just something that you can just walk away from. Following the path paved by fellow HBO hit Sex And the City , the pay network’s long running series Entourage has received the green light for the big screen from Warner Bros. The theatrical version of the series will be a sequel to the show, which ran on HBO for eight seasons from 2004 – 2011, according to Deadline . Entourage creator Doug Ellin will direct the movie from a screenplay he has written. Like the series, the feature will center around a rising film star and his inner circle. Deals with Entourage stars Adrian Grenier (Vincent “Vinnie” Chase), Kevin Connolly (Eric “E” Murphy), Kevin Dillon (Johnny Drama), Jerry Ferrara (Turtle), and Jeremy Piven, who plays Vinnie’s uber-agent Ari Gold, are underway. The feature-version of Entourage will open six months after the series finale and will center on Ari’s new career move. The HBO series climaxed with Piven’s character quitting the biz to fully commit to his troubled marriage with Mrs. Ari, played by Perrey Reeves. But the story was left hanging when Ari suddenly received news he’s being offered his dream job – running a studio. A start date for the project is still pending. “We’re teed up for a movie in a way that, you know, Ari has this conundrum that he’s facing,” Piven said last year according to Huff Post , adding, “Which is either to rule the world or to honor his love to his wife.” Executive producer Mark Wahlberg offered up what he’d like in the movie back in June of 2012: “I think a 90-minute movie of sheer craziness — the guys getting back to just being about the guys, you know? The 49ers fan eventually found someone on Craigslist who was offering four seats for $5,900, about double face value but she still copped. Osgood said she chatted for a week with dude, who said he was a Ravens season-ticket holder. She then wired money to his credit union. Mistake… Via DeadSpin reports: “On Monday, the highly anticipated package arrived—by FedEx. Instead of Super Bowl tickets, inside was a picture of quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Joe Flacco with a message underneath that read: “Enjoy the game!!!! Go Ravens!!! LOL.” The scam artist told the couple he was a corporate tax attorney living in Boca Raton, Fla., and his wife was eight months pregnant, which was why they couldn’t go to the game themselves. “For a week I was on the phone with this guy,” Osgood said. “That’s the only reason why we” trusted him. Canada has denied actor Randy Quaid’s request for permanent residency, according to reports, two years after he applied for refugee status in the county. The Refugee Protection Division also refused to let Quaid reinstate a claim in which he alleged he and his wife were the target of Hollywood ” star-whackers .” The Quaids have appealed to Federal Court saying their lives are still in danger. “Organized crime and its victims are serious issues and can not be tossed off until the claim is heard,” the couple stated in an application for judicial review. “The refugee claims should remain intact as should Evi and Randy Quaid’s heads remain attached to their necks; it is their firm belief that their lives are at stake and being racketeered on.” The couple applied for refugee status in October 2010, claiming they were being persecuted by a cabal of lawyers and agents bent on killing famous actors. They said friends such as Heath Ledger and David Carradine died under mysterious circumstances. His lawyer Lorne Waldman said the officer ignored evidence. Evi Quaid’s father was born in Canada, giving her Canadian citizenship and the ability to sponsor her husband. They applied in 2010 for refugee status. But, in an application for judicial review filed in Federal Court, Randy Quaid claimed an immigration officer had denied his application for permanent residence. The reasons were not given. The ruling places Randy Quaid in a bind, however, since he withdrew his refugee claim last summer and authorities are refusing to let him change his mind. According to documents filed in a separate Federal Court file, Quaid initially asked for a guarantee he could stay in Canada before abandoning his claim. He completed a notice of withdrawal in August 2012 but now says he didn’t know what he was doing. “He never intended to withdraw his refugee claim,” documents state. Randy’s wife, Evi Quaid , “suffers from dyslexia and post-traumatic stress disorder and she reacted out of fear when she completed the withdrawal form.” The Quaids now claim their lives are in peril again, they write: “The Quaids claim is not Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle . Evi and Randy Quaids lives are in danger here! Evi and Randy Quaid have been subjected to an injustice!”

Jenelle Evans suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage Friday morning, but instead of being by her side, husband / baby daddy Courtland Rogers is persona non grata. She’s banned him from the hospital, according to Rogers. “They won’t let me in!” Courtland charges, noting that his estranged wife is instead being comforted by Gary Head , her ex-fiance, in her moment of need. “Gary answers every phone Jenelle has! They won’t let me in and her mom called the hospital and there are even cops there!” Courtland tells Radar Online . She has been furious at her husband of just under two months ever since he left her home alone last Sunday night to go out and wasted with his buddies. Jenelle Evans accused him of cheating (he denies it), said she’s filing for divorce ASAP and even filed assault charges against him (he denies that as well). Rogers, who accused Head of cheating with Evans (a charge he denies), admits he’s done wrong (just not cheating or abuse) and wants to make things right. “I’m so freaking upset! This is so f**ked up! That’s my kid!” Courtland says. It would’ve been, at least. Jenelle lost the baby at the eight-week point in her pregnancy. The stress of her relationship with Rogers couldn’t have helped. Despite their bitter fighting and the loss of their unborn child, Courtland says that he still loves Jenelle – and wants everybody to know about it, too. “I am not leaving until I see my wife and kiss her!” he vowed. “I don’t even care if the cops take me away.
