Source: Michael Putland / Getty Warner Bros Pictures has acquired the life rights of Teddy Pendergrass and Tyrese is set to play the legendary singer, songwriter in a film about his life, Deadline reports . Lee Daniels and Donald De Line have been tapped to produce the film via De Line Pictures studio and Tyrese’s Voltron Pictures. Pendergrass’ widow, Joan Pendergrass, is an executive producer. “I am honored to take this journey… this is the role that I feel I was born to play. Teddy Pendergrass embraced me and before he passed put the responsibility on my shoulders to tell his story,” Tyrese told Deadline. “Being here in this time and in this space and moment with Lee Daniels, Donald De Line, Little Marvin and Warner Bros is an answered prayer. Teddy, I just hope we make you, your wife and family proud… Here we go!!” Teddy Pendergrass reached massive success in the 70s and 80s as lead singer of the Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes and his own solo career. In 1982, Pendergrass was severely injured in a car accident that left his paralyzed from the chest down. He would learn how to sing again and eventually perform. He died in 2010. Well, folks, it looks like love is well and truly dead. You might object that your own marriage is still thriving, or you witnessed an act of kindness that inspired hope this morning, but we’re here to tell you it’s all over. After all, if these crazy kids can’t make it work, what hope do the rest of us have? Yes, back in late 2017, Donald Trump Jr. filed for divorce from his wife of 13 years, Vanessa Trump. Obviously, this was a shameful scandal for his family to endure. You see, Don Jr. is 41, and this is his first divorce! The shame! Junior moved on quickly, of course — these days he’s dating Kimberly Guilfoyle of Fox News fame. In fact, there have been reports that Trump and Guilfoyle are engaged ! That may be why DTJ is suddenly in a big hurry to finalize his divorce. Whatever the case, Don Jr. and Vanessa issued a statement today revealing that their marriage is officially a thing of the past. “We finalized our agreement at the end of last year,” the couple revealed. “We are incredibly lucky to have five amazing children and are committed to raising them together. Our kids and their happiness will always be our first priority.” The sad news involving Don and Vanessa’s split has prompted many to recall the manner in which the couple first met. Vanity Fair even republished an interview in which Vanessa recalled that she and Don Jr. met several times before either rememebered the other: “We talked for an hour,” she recalled. “Then suddenly, something clicked: Wait, you were at that fashion show. Wait, you’re . . . “the one with the retarded dad!” Make of that story what you will. Insiders have floated numerous possible causes for the couple’s decision to split. Apparently, Vanessa thought that Don Jr. was cheap, and she really wasn’t a fan of his decision to have an affair with Aubrey O’Day . Or at the very least, she wishes said affair had remained a secret from the public. It was right around the time O’Day decided to start talking about the affair that Vanessa began getting antsy in her marriage. Of course, in all likelihood, Don Jr. was never gonna be able to keep her satisfied in the long term. This is a woman who once cheated on her gang-banger boyfriend with Leonardo DiCaprio . She needs excitement, not some chinless dweeb angrily hammering out reply tweets on his Blackberry. Email Submit According to The Herald Bulletin , Michael Neil, 29, was arrested on Monday for allegedly stabbing a man in his apartment. Neil confessed to police in an interview, saying he was asleep when he woke up to find another man getting it on with his wife. SEE ALSO: Man Finds His Wife & Her Alleged Lover Dead In Garage From Carbon Monoxide Poisoning “Neil admitted that he grabbed a knife from the bedroom and started stabbing the other male,” a press release states. Police responded to a neighbor’s call at 12:26 a.m. on Monday. They said they could hear several people fighting in an apartment nearby. When Officer Jamie Crawford arrived on the scene, he found an unconscious man inside a parked vehicle on North 20th Street. The man showed to have multiple stab wounds. Officer Matthew Walker entered the apartment building and discovered Michael Neil drenched in “a significant amount of blood,” says the press release. Neil told the cops he had been the one attacked in his apartment. Both men were rushed to the hospital to get treatment for their injuries. Elwood Police Chief Jason Brizendine withheld the name of the guy found unconscious in his vehicle. He did say the man was alive, however. He didn’t give details on the extent of his injuries. According to the press release, a search warrant was granted for the victim’s vehicle and the apartment. Various weapons and DNA were obtained by officers along with other evidence. Neil was booked on Monday for charges of Level 3 felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Elwood police mentioned that the case is still open and considered an ongoing investigation. This isn’t Neil’s first run-in with the law either. According to The Herald Bulletin, Neil is expected to appear in Madison Circuit Court 1 for a dispositional hearing on February 25 for a plea agreement in a January 2, 2018 case. He was charged with “Level 3 felony robbery resulting in bodily injury, robbery where someone other than a defendant, dealing in a schedule IV controlled substance and battery resulting in bodily injury.” With this additional case, it seems the odds are already against him. Jay is back on Instagram So, remember after his and Ashley’s fraud scandal broke, and how they both vanished from instagram, Ashley returned, and Jay never did? Well, it turns out that Jay’s account was accidentally disabled. We’re guessing that his IG was spammed with reports as angry fans vented their feelings of betrayal. Anyway, it’s back. 3. On the positive side Jay shared this photo of him and his wife in the snow, saying that he had waited for a long time to post the pic. Notably, it almost never snows anywhere in Jamaica, where Jay was born. Even on Blue Mountain Peak, snow is extremely rare. 4. And that is how we learned this Jay shared a short clip of Ashley looking understandably unhappy and tired after spending six days — including Valentine’s Day — in the hospital. 5. Source: Noel Hendrickson / Getty Man Accidentally Runs Over His Own Wife On Valentine’s Day Valentine’s Day can be a point of contention for a lot of relationships–but for one couple in Pennsylvania, things turned out to be a lot worse than just not getting the right flowers or agreeing on where to go to dinner. One husband has been left stunned after the events of a tragic accident in the Lehigh Valley after police say that he ran over his wife. The fatal incident happened around 3 p.m. on Thursday, on the 1200 block of Anna Marie Street in Palmer Township, a township in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. This all happened when 66-year-old Terry Mitchell let his wife Debra out of the vehicle, according to reports from police. After leaving the vehicle, she then fell to the ground, possibly due to a medical issue, while walking toward the back of the car. Police go on to say that after she fell, Debra was out of view of her husband and Mitchell ended up running her over her as he reversed and backed out of the driveway. She was then pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have since ruled this tragedy to be an accident.

She gave an interview to People about the big news , and she explained that she chose to the location because “We had just started dating when we came for the first time two years ago and it was such a special time for us that I wanted to propose there.” She said that she “can’t exactly pinpoint” the moment she knew Audrey was the one, “but it was pretty early on.” “There are a lot of things about Audge that I am so in love with and I knew that I wanted to love those things for the rest of my life,” she gushed. “She made me a better person and continues to make me a better person.” As for the big moment itself, Mariah recounted that “We were in the middle of where everyone was marching and I was trying to get the ring out of my pocket, where it was stuck.” “I think Audrey was fixing her hair, but I just got down on one kneww and said some sweet things that neither of us can really remember because we were so caught up in the moment.” After that, “She was really sweet and started crying and I was crying and then I put the ring on her, got up and gave her a kiss and someone around us goes ‘Did she say yes?'” “And she totally hadn’t yet!” “Then she said ‘I do! I do!” and then realized that was the wrong thing to say and then said ‘Yes!'”, Mariah continued. “She’s such a sweetheart. The ring is absolutely perfect, if I do say so myself.” It’s been about a month since they got engaged, so how are things going now? “Our friends and family have all been so excited for us!” Mariah said. “I actually think my dad almost cried! He really likes Audrey.” “All of our friends have been so sweet and offering to help and our families are obviously excited to share their input,” she added. Typical. In another, Cyrus thanked her 6 foot 3 husband for “always bending down” to hug her. A source told People on Tuesday that although Liam was hospitalized, “he was at home resting and will be fine.” In another Instagram post, Miley left a flirty message for Hemsworth while posing in front of a photo featuring him playing a saxophone. Which is something he does at the end of the rom-com satire. “Getting sick blows. But so do I. Get well soon babe. I love you,” she wrote. “Play that sax you sexy f -.” which followed with heart and kissing emojis. Liam issued a statement on his Instagram account after the premiere, as well, where he apologized for missing the event . He also gave a shout-out to his wife. “Sorry I couldn’t make it to the @isntitromantic premier tonight guys. Been dealing with some pretty annoying health stuff the last couple days,” explained the actor. “Lucky I have the best girl in the world to represent for me!
