Relationship Rehab (VH1’s new Celebrity Rehab spinoff) producers recently approached Speidi to work out their issues on the show, and the gruesome twosome flat-out rejected their offer for a simple reason: They’re doing well and weren’t willing to pretend otherwise. Kobe Bryant’s divorce was a long time coming, according to sources close to the Los Angeles Lakers star and his soon-to-be former spouse of 10 years. Vanessa Bryant caught Kobe with “multiple women” over the years, but his most recent transgression, which took place “very recently,” was it for her. A close source says that for, his latest affair was the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak, and she decided to finally end their marriage. Sources would not say specifically how Vanessa caught Kobe, but it was not through text messages a la Tiger Woods, Rachel Uchitel and Elin Nordegren. The NBA great famously cheated in 2003 when he was accused of raping a Colorado woman, but was acquitted and appeared to have made amends at home. It’s not clear how many affairs he had or whether Vanessa knew any of the people, but they’ve already worked out a settlement agreement in the split. Vanessa will remain in the couple’s mansion and have joint custody of the pair’s two daughters, 8 and 5, presumably getting half of Kobe’s empire. The couple did not have a prenuptial agreement in place. Kobe is said to be “desperate” to win back his wife but Vanessa Bryant is having none of it, even though she admits she still loves Kobe dearly. She just can’t stand his infidelity anymore. After a cloistered childhood, Paris, 13, the only daughter of late pop icon Michael Jackson , opened up to Ellen about her formerly sheltered life and how her dad’s music inspired her acting. In excerpts released before the airing, Paris explained that her dad helped her prepare for her upcoming first movie role, in which she’ll play Lundon in “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys,” an adaptation of the fantasy series based on writer Dennis Christen’s novels. “When I was really little my dad was in the movie ‘Moonwalker’ and I knew he could sing really well but I didn’t know he could act,” she said. “I saw that and I said, ‘Wow, I want to be just like him.’ ” She said Michael also gave her at-home acting lessons. “We would do improv together. He would give us little scenarios. He would (say), ‘OK, in this scene you’re going to cry’ and I’d cry on the spot.” In one of the most (literally) revealing moments, Paris explained what it felt like for herself and her siblings, Prince and Blanket, to wear disguises for most of their young lives. “I’m like, ‘This is stupid. Why am I wearing a mask?’ But I kind of realized the older I got like he only tried to protect us and he’d explain that to us too,” she said. The masks, in fact, helped the three kids live as normal a life as they possibly could considering that their dad was one of the most-sought-after paparazzi targets on earth. “I do have like a regular childhood,” she said. “I mean, I’m treated the same. When I came to [my new school] they didn’t know who I was. I was like, ‘Yes, I have a chance to be normal.'” When asked if she realized how big a deal her dad was when she was a child, Paris admitted, “I just thought, ‘He’s got a few songs out,’ but I figured everyone did that.” In the action-animation hybrid “Lundon,” Paris will voice the lead character, a human, in a fantasy adventure in which “sea magic turns a dolphin into a human, a teenage boy into a dragonfly and a loving jellyfish queen into an evil fairy godmother.” Among the other voices in the movie are former CNN personality Larry King and his wife, Shawn, and ex ‘NSYNC member Joey Fatone. Vanessa Bryant, the wife of NBA star Kobe Bryant, filed for divorce Friday afternoon, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They were married 10 and a half years. Sources say that Vanessa decided to end the marriage because she thinks the Los Angeles Lakers guard has been unfaithful … and not for the first time. As one source close to Vanessa put it, “She’s been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she’s finally had enough.” “This one is the straw that broke the camel’s back.” Vanessa Bryant famously stuck by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003 (he was acquitted of all charges). Apparently the cheating didn’t end there, though, and while Kobe “desperately” wants to win her back and will do “whatever it takes” … good luck. We have an update on the ugly Rodney Atkins situation. As previously reported, the country singer was arrested last month on a charge of domestic violence that included trying to smother his wife with a pillow , an allegation Atkins denies. Now, TMZ has obtained the divorce documents between Rodney and Tammy Atkins and they at least prove the couple can agree on something. Both sides acknowledge they are “unable to live together successfully as husband and wife,” while each says the other is “guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.” Tammy is asking for sole custody of the pair’s 10-year old son (who she also says witnessed his dad’s attack), along with alimony and child support payments. The judge has agreed on a restraining order for the time being, barring Rodney and Tammy from “harassing, threatening, assaulting or abusing the other party.” That seems like a start.

E! News and Fashion Police staple Giuliana Rancic has undergone a double mastectomy and is already recovering, even cracking jokes, according to her husband Bill. Her double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery took place last night as she battles breast cancer, and “G is doing really well,” Bill Rancic told E! News Wednesday. “Her surgery lasted about four hours; the doctors were very pleased with the result.” “She had a little bit of pain through the night but is feeling much better this morning and was cracking jokes,” said Rancic of his wife, who we’re all pulling for. G had her own message to share, as well. “I want to thank all the viewers and fans for their support and prayers,” she says. “All the tweets and notes have not gone unnoticed.
