Michael J. Fox Dead? Morbid Hoax Stuns Social Media

If you spent any time on Facebook or Twitter yesterday, then you might have encountered reports of the passing of actor Michael J. Fox. The rumor was so pervasive that Fox’s name quickly became a worldwide trending topic. Fortunately, fans can breathe easy, as Fox is not dead, but is instead the latest victim of an obnoxious celebrity death hoax. Reps for Fox have confirmed that the 57-year-old actor is alive and well, and was just as confused about the apparent prank as anyone else. Usually, the origin of such nonsense remains mysterious, but this time it looks as though the culprit has been identified. According to the internet’s sharpest sleuths, news of Fox’s passing originated on a website that was designed to trick users into thinking they had visited Yahoo! News. A report at the top of the site’s homepage reads as follows:  “On August 2, Michael J. Fox arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was self-admitted with complications attributed to Parkinson’s Disease. According to Chief Coroner Jonathan Lucas M.D., Fox had developed pneumonia, a common problem occurring in Parkinson’s sufferers in the later stages of the disease.” “Tragically, Fox died at 11:24 this morning. Doctors confirmed Fox passed away peacefully and was surrounded by friends and family.” While it’s true that Fox has been battling Parkinson’s Disease for much of his life, the rest of the report is a complete fabrication. It seems that the hoax spread further and faster than most due to the fact that Fox has been silent on social media in recent weeks. The photo above, which Fox tweeted on June 1 in support of gun violence victims, constitutes his most recent social media activity. “It’s made me stronger,” Fox once said of his diagnosis. “A million times wiser. And more compassionate, I’ve realized I’m vulnerable, that no matter how many awards I’m given or how big my bank account is, I can be messed with like that. “The end of the story is you die. Paola Mayfield Shares Sweet Baby Bump Pic, Emotional Message to Fans

Paola Mayfield has made it official: Two body parts of hers are growing these days. As previously announced, the 90 Day Fiance star is expecting her first child with husband Russ, as the reality stars themselves confirmed this blessed news just over a week ago on Instagram. Naturally, as a result, Mayfield’s belly is getting bigger by the month. But the TLC personality has also now made it clear via social media that something aside from her stomach has increased in size of late: Her heart. Indeed, Paola just shared a new, precious picture (above) of Russ kissing her baby bump, adding as a lengthy caption: “We are so thankful and happy for each one of your beautiful messages! We weren’t expecting so much love and so much support. Thank you all so much.” She then referenced some of the marital strife that she has been through over the past year or so. “You guys know all that Russ and I went through the past months,” Mayfield said in her caption, continuing in further detail: “I was angry and devastated after all you can never completely recover from something like that but today we have a reason to smile and to be happy, a reason to move forward and to be the best we can. “I wish I could keep up and like all your comments from my last post. I love you all so very much! “Thank you for living this amazing experience with us and for showing us so much love.” Mayfield is mostly referencing a miscarriage she suffered last year in this passage. As is the case with so many couples that go through this awful experience, Russ and Paola nearly hit a breaking point due to the tragedy. Paola made it pretty clear on air and in a few statements that she though Russ wasn’t there for her in the way she needed following the devastating news. Meanwhile, Russ thought his wife was trying to shut him out. It’s never been clear just how close the stars were to splitting, but their relationship hadn’t seemed entirely stable even before the miscarriage. The main storyline surrounding the Mayfields during their time on 90 Day Finance had been Paola’s penchant for posing nearly-naked and Russ’ unease over his wife showing the world such revealing assets. This was a legitimate issue between the husband and wife. It became so well known and questions about their relationship so pervasive that both sides of the romance semi-recently addressed their status online. “He accepts me,” Paola told fans in early July of Russ. “Loves me and respects me the way I am and lets me work even when he is not 100% comfortable.” Russ, for his part, also made it evident a short bit ago that he loves Paola and is committed to Paola and people need to stop claiming anything to the contrary. “I accept and am proud of my wife for the beautiful woman she is,” Russ has said , adding: “I am tired of the comments from the marriage ‘experts’ stating I deserve better, my wife doesn’t respect me, or she only loves me for my money and so on and so forth… “I am proud of where I come from. The event benefitted Atlanta’s DeKalb County Schools and included haircuts and hair styling, live performances, food, and fun. Attendance at the back to school drive doubled and nearly 1000 pairs of shoes were given to kids along with 1500 backpacks, 1300 uniforms and school supplies such as folders, paper, and pens. David Hasselhoff and Hayley Roberts: Married!

It’s been a little over two years since David Hasselhoff became engaged to Hayley Roberts . The famous actor is 66, and his fiancee is 38.  But she’s no longer his fiancee — she’s his wife . The two are now officially married! Us Weekly reports that David Hasselhoff’s rep confirmed to them that he and Hayley have married. The two tied the knot on Tuesday, July 31. The long-awaited nuptials took place in the southern region of Puglia, Italy. Italy is easily one of the most romantic places to have a destination wedding. And we also have a few details about the ceremony itself. According to The Blast , the 66-year-old actor and the 38-year-old model did not have one of those huge productions of a wedding, but they did invite guests. The guest list was limited to close friends and, of course, family, giving the ceremony an intimate feeling. Among the guests, of course, were David Hasselhoff’s daughters Taylor, 28, and Hayley, 25. (No, that is not a typo — in case it has slipped your mind, his wife and daughter not only have the same first name, they spell it the same way) We’re sure that they were overjoyed at getting to witness the loving union between these two longtime lovers. This romance has been blazing for years — ever since David and Hayley (his wife, not his daughter) met in a random encounter at a hotel, way back in 2011. Hayley asked him for his autograph. He agreed — and asked for her number in exchange. That’s probably not the response that she expected from the Baywatch and Knight Rider alum, but they started dating. Then, in 2016, on a romantic picnic lunch in Malibu, he proposed to her. And she said yes. David knew that marrying someone new — especially someone so much younger than he is — was going to be a little different for his daughters. “I told my girls what I was going to do,” he actor shared after announcing the engagement in 2016. “And they were both really supportive.” “It’s tough,” he said. “No one wants to see their parents split up.” That is mostly true. “But they love Hayley,” David said. “And they’re just happy for me.” The age difference isn’t the hugest in the world. Unlike some celebrities, he’s not marrying a woman as young as or younger than his daughters. We imagine that the only real awkward part of this relationship is that Hayley (his wife) and Hayley (his daughter) have the same name. Jeremy Roloff Just Made Us Cry with His Audrey Birthday Message

Okay, look, Jeremy and Audrey Roloff. We need to have a few words with you… You guys really need to stop gushing so perfectly and romantically about each other online, okay?!? Because it’s making the rest of us look bad by comparison! Like, how were we suppose to compete with Audrey’s Father’s Day message to Jeremy , the one in which she referred to her soulmate  as a “Godly husband and father?” Similarly, Jeremy has now gone above and beyond on the occasion of Audrey’s 27th birthday. To pay tribute to his wife of four years, Jeremy shared the following precious picture of himself and Audrey yesterday on Instagram: Then, he went ahead and made us cry ALL the tears by including with it a caption that reads: You are a beautiful creation, an amazing wife, and a great mom. I love your self acceptance and desire for self growth – to be you and only you, while also seeking who you were made to be. Thanks for grounding me, taking care of me, and loving me so well. Jeremy went on to list all the ways in which he enjoys spending time with his better half: Working with you is fun. Playing with you is a joy. And raising a kid with you is an honor. They will not be appearing on future episodes, as Jeremy announced just a few days ago . “After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come,” Jeremy wrote, much to our chagrin, prior to adding: “A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride. “We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun. “We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically – the show must go on!” Audrey then chimed in and wrote the following on her Instagram page: “I am so thankful for the encouragement, kindness, and support that each of you have shown to our family. We are forever grateful for the run we’ve had. “Excited to focus on what we feel the Lord is calling us to!” With a memoir on the way from the couple and their blog/business, Beating 50 Percent, up and very much running, we’ll still be seeing plenty of Audrey and Jeremy down the line. Offset Arrested Just Outside Atlanta, Caught With A Gun In His Car

Offset Arrested Outside Atlanta Offset may end up spending some time away from his wife Cardi and their newborn baby girl Kulture. According to TMZ , the rapper was pulled over by officers while riding around on the outskirts of Atlanta for an improper lane change. Upon stopping Offset, cops realized that his tints were darker than the legal limit, then for whatever reason (like they need one) began searching the vehicle and discovered a firearm. Big problem for Offset, as he’s a three-time felon and not permitted to carry a weapon. He was hit with two felony charges — possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a weapon during a crime. He also has two misdemeanors for good measure: possession of marijuana (under one ounce) and the improper lane change that started this whole mess. SMH, we hope he has good legal representation. First, of course, the father to Ember and husband to Audrey announced on Instagram that he and his family will NOT return to the show that made them famous . OPTION 1: Jeremy with long hair. He told followers just a few days ago that this decision was reason prior to the start of filming on the most recent batch of new episodes, elaborating as follows: “After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come. “We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun.” Jeremy, who will soon release a memoir with Audrey and who still runs the company Beating 50 Percent with Audrey, also made it clear they won’t be going away. “We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward,” he wrote. “We’re not disappearing. We have a lot of exciting stuff in the works and are eager to continue the work that the Lord has called us to!” Meanwhile, as fans continue to process this major news, Jeremy has gone ahead and dropped yet another bombshell on his supporters: He’s cut his hair! OPTION 2: Jeremy with short hair. It’s true! Granted, this is not the best view of said haircut, but fans are still adamant that the cut has taken place. “WOW YOU CUT YOUR HAIR!” reads one comment. “Zoom in. That’s not a bun. That’s a cut.” Jeremy gave fans this glimpse of the back of his head while on a peaceful stroll with Ember and Jackson Roloff. “Showing my daughter and nephew around the farm on a warm summer evening,” he wrote as a caption to the snapshot, getting all profound and adding: It wasn’t too long ago I was the one in the wagon – we all were.” OPTION 3: Jeremy with a man bun.
