Source: Josh Blanchard / FilmMagic/FilmMagic for HBO Lawrence is back on Insecure, but we knew that! We pick up tonight’s episode from last week’s awkward post-Coachella run in between Lawrence and Issa and they exchange minor pleasantries about what they’ve been up to. Of course, they both downplay life but it seems that Lawrence has been quite the busy bee, smashing and dashing literally everyone with a vagina. He’s basically still trying to sex the post-breakup pain away. But unfortunately for him, he got chlamydia in the process. Hold that thought. Meanwhile, Issa is working on throwing a block party as a new business venture to help do something positive in her neighborhood. This is a move that was inspired (in part) and supported by Nathan. So far he really seems to be in Issa’s corner and they have a sweet moment where Nathan asks her how she knows when it’s real and then he tells her that he really likes her. Issa’s like is mutual and in her world, you just know when it’s real. So there’s that. #NathanNavy be like… via GIPHY Back to Lawrence. He links up with Chad and Derek to talk about life and he admits that he’s embarrassed by his behavior lately and really wants to make a change. Calm down, he and Issa becoming a thing probably again isn’t happening. He reveals that he no longer has ill feelings toward her, but he also hasn’t looked at her the same way since she cheated. Chad’s stupid arse has the nerve to call Issa a hoe but Lawrence calls him out because he’s definitely a cheater too. The fuq?! Anyway, Issa Rae once mentioned that this season will examine toxic masculinity and we are definitely seeing bits and pieces of that surface because Chad tried it. You can’t be the pot calling the kettle black. via GIPHY Back to Issa. She gets a call from Lyft saying there’s an open investigation involving an assault in her vehicle. Remember when Nathan faded that big disrespectful dude? Yeah, that. Issa texts Nathan and mentions that but he doesn’t even respond. via GIPHY Now we’re at Tiffany’s baby shower where Issa, Molly and Kellie meet Tiff’s bourgie friends, whom she refers to as “the crazy crew,” who also planned the shower. They don’t really know these girls and this is where drama in the inner friend circle starts to unfold. At one point, Kelli storms out of the shower causing Issa and Molly to run after her. Kelli reveals that feels like she’s losing her best friend to a baby, but you also wonder if there’s some jealousy there too. You know, Kelli acts tough and all, but perhaps she wants family life too? Anyway, Tiffany finds them and asks swithat’ up and they all mention that they feel some type of way about not being asked to plan the shower. Tiffany says they were so caught up in their own life drama and didn’t even offer so she felt her other girls, particularly Blaire, who is a mother, would actually be more helpful. Tiffany mentioning Blaire makes Kelli feel worse because it’s rubbing in the fact that she’s not a mother. There are fractures in this group and we haven’t even begun to scratch the surface. Lawrence and Issa com face to face again and talk. It’s not awkward this time and Lawrence even offers to help Issa with some of the business nuances of the block party she’s planning. Cheers to growth. Molly finds out that Dro’s wife is pregnant (Dro and his wife are at the shower) and definitely feels some type of way but it’s hard to feel bad for Molly because just earlier she was playing Andrew, Nathan’s Asian friend that she met at Coachella who is clearly interested, to the left. via GIPHY Finally, the episode ends with Issa getting a call from Lyft to let her know that they closed the investigation. They spoke to Nathan and he gave them a statement. Now Issa is really like wtf because she still hasn’t heard from him. So like…did this grown arse man ghost her? Duggars Offer Back-to-School Advice (Despite the Fact They’ve Never Sent Their Kids to School)

The days are getting shorter, the never-used golf clubs and camping equipment are gathering dust, and the nagging sense that you’re wasting the best years of your life withering away under the harsh glare of fluorescent lights in a cubicle that seems to get smaller by the day is growing more profound. This can only mean one thing — autumn is upon us. All over the country, kids are back in the classroom, but for the Duggar family, there aren’t too many changes around the compound this time of year. That’s because the Duggar kids are homeschooled . Yes, not one of Jim Bob and Michelle’s 19 kids has ever set foot inside an actual classroom. And yet, for some reason, the family still feels it’s their duty to offer back-to-school advice to their devoted fanbase. “I know many moms and dads are in ‘back-to-school’ mode and have a thousand things to think about and many stressors in your life,” Michelle wrote on the Duggars official Facebook page this week. “Recently, I was reading in God’s word,” Michelle continued. “‘Be anxious for nothing.’ It was such a beautiful reminder that God has everything in control. He is working things out on our behalf. We have to place our trust in Him and He will direct our steps.” Decent advice, but it’s easy for someone to tell you to just chill out when they’re not the ones who have to buy their kid a separate three-ring binder for every freakin’ class. As In Touch Weekly points out, many commenters took issue with the Duggars’ advice for stressed-out parents. “Oh, the overt irony of that post,” wrote one Facebook user. Others echoed the sentiment, and it’s not hard to see why they’re so resentful of advice issued by someone who simply cannot relate to their plight. Obviously, homeschooling 19 kids is no easy task — but the Duggars have had plenty of help. If you’re a longtime fan of the family, you probably already know that the Duggars employ a buddy system , meaning that each child is assigned a younger sibling to look after — and educate. Now that so many Duggars have left the nest, most of the tutoring duties fall not to Michelle, but to Jana. Yes, with the help of her friend Laura DeMasie, Jana Duggar has been homeschooling her siblings for years. Some have gone so far as to suggest that the reason Jana is still single is that she’s so busy with helping to raise her siblings that she’s had no time to find a partner. We don’t know if that’s true, but we do know that Michelle is not the ideal person to be dispensing back-to-school advice. Anfisa: Returning to Cam Girl Work While Jorge Is in Prison?

Now that Jorge Nava has been sentenced to prison following his marijuana arrest, what is Anfisa going to do for the next 2.5 years? Obviously, Anfisa can work — but she is a full time student right now. Is she going to have to quit school to support herself while Jorge is behind bars? Jorge was caught with a massive amount of marijuana in his car. He grows medical marijuana for a living in California but, unfortunately, he and his car and that marijuana were in Arizona , which has some of the most absurd drug laws in the nation. As we reported, he has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison. Anfisa says that Jorge may have a shot at getting out after 22 months, but she is clearly looking at two years without her husband. But she might not have to quit her role as a student — because Anfisa could really make it as a YouTuber. We know what you're thinking — Anfisa may be younger than Jorge, but she's a few years older than your average YouTuber. But, as Starcasm notes, Anfisa could make money via YouTube in a major way, she's already shown that she has the skills for it. Anfisa edits her own clips for YouTube, and it really shows. She is very particular about controlling what viewers see and do not see, and about making sure that there are only pauses at appropriate moments. The evidence in her videos, which have smooth transitions from moment to moment, shows that Anfisa can keep her YouTube channel crisp and clean. Then there's the fact that Anfisa has plenty of business savvy when it comes to marketing herself on social media. (No jokes about her alleged sex work, please … we'll get to that in a moment) The titles of her YouTube videos cover frequently searched items, which means that she's followed not only by fans of 90 Day Fiance , but by people who have randomly come across her page. This is part of how you diversify your audience. Some come to see how her life is going after the show, but others are there for makeup tips. She knows how to stay relevant, and it works — her YouTube videos average 1.37 million views each. One got up to 4 million. Back in July, and despite Anfisa's denials, it looks like Anfisa's alleged camgirl work was exposed . While there is of course nothing wrong with being a camgirl or with any other kind of sex work, fans took an interest in her backstory. Evidence was uncovered featuring a woman who looks conspicuously like Anfisa on furniture that looks like Anfisa's old furniture, in an apartment that looks like Anfisa's old Moscow apartment. Even the camera angle was the same as the one that Anfisa used to audition for 90 Day Fiance . Some have wondered if Anfisa might use sex work when those bills start piling up.  If she wants to do that, good for her! But Anfisa has denied that she appeared in the video. Jorge also claims that the camgirl is not his wife. Anfisa might not need that. According to our research, it looks like your average YouTuber is going to bring in about $2,000 for every 1 million views on any video of theirs with ads. Obviously, as with any advertising gambit, pay can vary according to factors such as audience demographics. If Anfisa turns out a few videos a month for the next couple of years, that might help her to stay afloat until Jorge gets out. Then again, some have speculated that she might run his — legal — medical marijuana business. Until Anfisa tells the world herself, we just won't know.

Noah Brown: Rhain IS Taking My Last Name, No Matter WHAT My Family Says!

On Wednesday, August 15, Alaskan Bush People star Noah Brown married Rhain in a heartwarming wedding ceremony. Some “fans” of the show and the family have never liked Rhain, and rumors began to surface that Rhain wasn’t allowed to take Noah’s last name. Noah has come forward to clear things up, once and for all. Noah Brown spoke to RadarOnline to lay this rumor to rest. “Rhain is my wife,” Noah affirmed. Not that there was any doubt — but, especially for newlyweds, that statement can feel powerful. “And,” Noah continued. “She is my wife for life.” Noah then makes it clear: “and of course she will be taking my last name.” Noah cannot help but gush about his new life. “It feels wonderful to be married,” Noah shares. He mentions that his wedding date was a long time coming. “Rhain and I were engaged for over a year,” he reminds fans, before repeating: “And we are finally married.” He really loves saying it. That is so cute. He says that the feeling of being married has really improved his life. “It is like this huge weight has been lifted,” Noah says. They’re no longer engaged and deciding when and where to get married or trying to work out any of those details. Noah concludes: “We can finally focus on being husband and wife.” Good for them! Obviously, not ever woman who marries a man then goes and changes her last name to match his. Some hyphenate. Some simply leave their names as they are. It depends on many factors, but ultimately comes down to personal preference. Changing a name can be a troublesome and time-consuming and expensive process. It was probably a lot simpler a century ago when few women were gainfully employed or owned property. Sometimes, it can take a new bride some time to change her name — remember, you have to change things like deeds and bank accounts in the process. Just because someone hasn’t raced to do so instead of going on her honeymoon doesn’t mean that she’s never changing her name. We shouldn’t jump to conclusions. Noah has been something of a black sheep in his family, which is probably why he gets more grief from fans and viewers than Bam Bam does. Both sons fell in love and moved on with their lives, but Noah was always a little weird (yes, even weirder than his siblings). The kid who’s a little goth isn’t going to thrive out in the wilderness, folks. He’s a grown man and he’s allowed to live his wife. Some fans turned their ire on Rhain, even accusing her of “copying” Noah’s sister Rain’s name, because Rhain’s birth name is Ruth. Folks, people can change their names any time that they like.  We’re not sure why people think that Rhain would want to copy her now-husband’s sister’s name. Noah dragged Rain on Instagram just a couple of months ago. Also, Rain Brown’s full name is  Merry Christmas Kathryn Raindrop Brown . How would you even begin to “copy” that? We’re so glad that Noah and Rhain found each other and we hope that they continue to enjoy their wedded bliss. Fans (and so-called “fans”) will continue to say whatever they like about Noah and Rhain, but the further removed from reality television that Noah is, the less that these haters can touch them. Drugs Are Bad M’Kay: ’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Jorge Nava Gets 2.5 Years In Prison For Weed Bust

Getty Images 90 Day Fiancé  Star Gets Sentencing For Drug Bust 90 Day Fiancé star Jorge Nava , who was arrested with almost 300 pounds of weed in his car, has just received his sentencing for the incident…and he is not happy with the results. Nava told TMZ  prior to his court date that his lawyer was able to get his class 2 felony charge and the possibility of 24 years behind bars reduced to a class 4 felony, but it looks like his plea deal still won’t keep Jorge out of prison–he has officially been sentenced to 2 and a half years. Though the sentencing is a lot better than it could have been, Jorge still thinks it is still way too harsh, considering marijuana is legal in some states and legal for medicinal purposes in Arizona, where he was busted. That may be true, but Nava was busted for allegedly trying to sell 293 pounds of weed–which is obviously vastly different than anything for medicinal or personal use. His lawyer, Brad Rideout, tells TMZ that the judge handed down the max sentence under the plea agreement due to the large amount of marijuana and Jorge’s prior record. According to the publication, after Jorge serves his time, he’ll get up to 5 months parole. Throughout it all, however, it looks like Nava and his wife, Anfisa Arkhipchenko, are doing great. He tells the publication that she’s been very supportive of him throughout his case, and in the Youtube video made by the couple, they reveal that Anfisa was the one to bail him out of jail in the first place. The couple’s relationship on  90 Day Fiancé  generally seems anything but positive–but maybe that’s only the case when cameras are around…or maybe Arkhipchenko is just happy for some time to herself while her husband serves his time.

J.D. Madison, Southern Charm Star, Also Accused of Sexual Assault

J.D. Madison and Thomas Ravenel now have something in common. But it’s not friendship and it’s not a role on Bravo reality series Southern Charm. It’s the fact that each has been accused of sexual assault. We’ve documented in the past how Ravenel has been accused of raping both a nanny and a woman with whom he went on a date a couple years ago. The lead Southern Charm cast member has since announced that he will not be returning for Season 6. Now, People Magazine has confirmed that an incident report was filed in August 25 with the Mount Pleasant Police Department against South Carolina businessman Madison, who is pretty tight with Ravenel. He’s appeared multiple times on Southern Charm as a result. According to legal documents, allegations of rape, sexual assault and involuntary drugging have been leveled against Madison by a South Carolina female, whose name was redacted by authorities. The details are pretty disgusting. The alleged victim told police that the incident in question took place on August 21, 2017. She says that she was with Madison, his male friend and another female friend at her house for a drink prior to heading out to a local bar. While there, she alleges that Madison intentionally broke a glass – and, as she cleaned it up, Madison “slipped a drug” in her already-poured beverage on the counter. The victim says that, after finishing the drink, she fell in and out of consciousness. Later, in the early hours of August 22, the woman says she awoke in the guest bedroom of her home where Madison was “forcibly raping and sodomizing her.” The attack supposedly stopped after Madison received a phone call from his wife. Then there’s this addendum to the story: FITSNews has identified the male with Madison and the alleged victim that night as Jay Schwartz, a local chiropractor.  He was arrested on drug charges this same evening. Mount Pleasant are reportedly investigating these charges, while Bravo is yet to issue a comment. The allegations against Madison come three months after allegations of sexual assault were brought against Ravenel by “Nanny Dawn,” who was featured Southern Charm caring for Ravenel’s two children with ex Kathryn Dennis. Another unnamed woman also brought a similar charge against the Wealthy Charleston resident. Ravenel is currently under investigation by South Carolina police. He dropped out of the show this month admist these scandals , defiant in his statement and adamant that only Bravo producers had done anything wrong. “I’m not doing the show anymore,” Ravenel Tweeted, adding: “In the contract they have the right to fictionalize your story. They took advantage of me. I decided I’ve got too much to lose and informed them I’m not coming back.” This guy sucks so much. And even if J.D. Madison never faces any charges for what he’s accused of above, we feel confident in saying he sucks a lot, too.

Actor Derek Luke Honored With His Own Day In Jersey City Today, actor Derek Luke was honored with a Proclamation from Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop to declare August 29th, 2018, Derek Luke Day. The 13 Reasons Why star and his wife Sophia accepted the honor at his hometown barbershop in Jersey City to receive the proclamation to commemorate his commitment to community service, and serve as the launch the Derek Luke Foundation. Luke and his wife spent the day donating free haircuts, backpacks and school supplies to hundreds of local schoolchildren. The newly launched foundation will work to help heal urban communities by encouraging mental health awareness, empowering youth in underserved areas and promoting the benefits of diversity. Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop presents actor and Jersey City native Derek Luke with a proclamation declaring it Derek Luke Day on August 29, 2018.
