Kim Kardashian is safe and sound and back in the United States. The reality star is recovering from a truly horrific ordeal that has the Internet abuzz and her family very concerned. That’s what happens when you get held up at gunpoint, bound inside of a bathroom and fall victim to a multi-million dollar robbery. This really is what took place very early on Monday morning, as French officials have confirmed that five armed assailants broke into Kardashian’s Paris apartment around 2:30 a.m. Two of them proceeded to tie Kim up and lock her inside the residence’s bathroom, as she begged and pleaded for her life. According to an E! News insider, Kardashian was gagged and bound at her hands and feet; she was then handcuffed and held at gunpoint. “She begged for them to let her live and [said] she has babies at home,” this source tells E! of the incident, adding: “Then they wrapped her mouth in tape and put her in the bathtub.” Scared and alone, Kardashian feared the worst outcome. How could she not, right? “She thought they were for sure going to kill her,” the source says. One of Kardashian’s rings, worth an estimated $4.49 million, as well as a jewelry box, worth an estimated $5.6 million, were stolen. Overall, the thieves got away (on bikes, outlets have claimed) with over $10 million worth of swiped goods. She gave her statement… Kendall Jenner arrived around 4:30 a.m. after a night out… and then Kim boarded a private plane as soon as she could in order to get home. As previously reported, Kanye West ended his show in Queens as soon as he heard what happened to his wife and then met Kardashian at the airport. TMZ has photos of Kanye and Kim in New York City, surrounded by well over 10 bodyguards and nearly just as many vehicles. This is a video of West ending his concert prior to its scheduled conclusion, telling fans in attendance about a “family emergency.” Kanye West Stops Concert Due to “Family Emergency” “Kim was terrified,” a source close to West tells People of her initial call to her husband. “She was just hysterical when she talked to Kanye. He said she was really upset and it took him a few seconds to understand what she was saying to him. “He wanted to get to her as soon as he could. He told her that he couldn’t care less about the jewelry; he’s just thankful that she’s okay.” We feel the same way, as everyone should. No matter what you think about Kim Kardashian as a business person or Instagram account holder or former sex tape star, she’s also a wife. And a mother. And a daughter. She did not deserve to go through this ordeal. Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo condemned the attack on Kardashian via Twitter, saying she’s always welcome in Paris. “This very rare act occurred in a private space and does not in any way call into question the work of the police and the security of the public space,” she said. E! News has also reached out to Kim’s famous mom, Kris Jenner, who said her daughter “will be OK.” Finally, E! released a statement of its own this morning, in light of its relationship with Kardashian. It reads: “All of us at E! are incredibly thankful that Kim Kardashian West is safe, and we send her and her family our love and support. Keeping Up with the Kardashians was not filming at the time of the robbery. Our focus right now is entirely on Kim’s well-being.” As it should be.

Desean Jackson To Rock Custom Shoes To Protest Police Brutality Ballers are finding more ways to protest the police killings of Black people. Instead of taking a knee , baller DeSean Jackson plans to make a statement at today’s game with his footwear. Desean reportedly hired artist Marcus Rivero — a.k.a. SolesBySir — to design a yellow caution tape wrap around on his cleats to protest the frequent deaths of unarmed African Americans at the hands of police. TMZ caught up with Desean to find out more about the statement he intends to make with his caution tape cleats: We reached out to Jackson for a comment … and were told “I’ve seen enough yellow caution tape and it’s time for a stand and a change in our community and society.” “Senseless killings have been ongoing for awhile and police brutality in our black community … and as a young black leader with a stage and platform I’m starting awareness to help prevent these killings, and hopefully get justice to these cops who have taken lives of innocent human beings.” Jackson says he doesn’t just want justice, but also “a change with the decision making on these cop killings.” “I am also coming up with a master plan to start a movement” with the intention of making a real impact. The recording artist and his wife, Yomaira Ortiz Felician, made the most heartbreaking announcement possible on Friday afternoon: They confirmed the death of their one-month old daughter, Victoria. This is what Wisin wrote on Instagram to alert followers about the horrible news: “Thank you, my God, for one month of life, for one month of Victoria. “God gives, and God takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord. It inflicts one in every 10,000 newborns and symptoms can include kidney malformations, structural congenital heart defects, incomplete brain development, and failure to thrive. This is a syndrome in which an individual has three copies of chromosome 13 material instead of two copies. The 37-year-old star said that his wife is suffering from depression due to the entire situation that the family is now facing. “We’re going through a difficult moment,” he said to the show. “It’s things that happen.” We truly cannot imagine. According to E! News, Wisin and his wife were made aware of their baby’s diagnosis when Feliciano was five months pregnant, yet decided to continue with the pregnancy because of their faith. Since Victoria’s arrival, Wisin – who comprises half of the reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel – has jumped on social media numerous times to share updates and information about the complications regarding his third child’s birth. “I have always respected and collaborated with the press about every aspect of my professional career. But on this occasion, our daughter’s health is the most important thing for us,” Wisin said in a statement when Victoria was born, adding: “In this respectful manner, we request the space to face this situation in the privacy of our family. We want to take advantage of this moment to thank everyone for the love that we have received. “Like any other parent, we ask that you all continue to pray for us so that we can overcome this process and that our daughter will be able to recover soon. if you watch Teen Mom online , you know that Amber Portwood’s fiance, Matt Baier, is pretty much the worst. This current season has been described as a sort of “apology tour” for Baier , but it could more accurately be called a “hey, everyone, I’m not as big of a douche as you thought!” tour. Baier seems to be making an effort to convince fans that Amber isn’t actually making the worst mistake of her life by marrying a middle-aged gold-digger who tried to bang all her co-stars with scenes like this “bonus clip” from the most recent episode: Matt Baier Plans Amber’s Surprise Party Does MTV have some stake in rescuing Baier’s reputation? Everyone who watched Teen Mom OG Season 3 Episode 5 knows that Is this clip intended to show us that Baier went to such great lengths as calling Amber’s cousin to get her out of the house for a couple hours? Did Baier complain that he didn’t receive enough credit for throwing such a “wicked pissah”? It’s possible we’ve devoted way to much though to this. In any event, many fans believe that Baier’s main goal in hosting the party was to make nice with Amber’s baby daddy, Gary Shirley. That may seem admirable, but knowing Baier, we can’t help but see the selfish motivation behind his actions. “Gary [Shirley] and Kristina are coming,” Matt tells Amber’s understandably surprised cousin at one point in the episode. “I just invited him because it’s not like he’s not a major part of our life, so I just invited him.” You may remember that Shirley was the first one to call Amber’s attention to the fact that Baier is a deadbeat dad . Seems like an odd to “just invite him” to a party for the hell of it. It also seems like the move of a guy who’s out to convince the people in his life (especially his meal-ticket, Amber) that he’s not what he appears to be: Which is of course, a conniving jerk. What makes Baier worse than Adam Lind and the other horrendous exes of the Teen Mom franchise is that he’s actually considerably smarter than them. It pains us to pay him that compliment, but then again he’s also about two decades older than his co-stars. And sadly, the guy seems to be devoting the sum total of his intellect to wriggling out of child support payments and convincing his girlfriend that he’s not his terrible as everyone says. In conclusion: trying to not look like a D-bag somehow actually makes Matt Baier look like MORE of a D-bag. We don’t quite understand it, either.
