Matt Baier Tries to Make Peace With Gary Shirley, Remains a Douche

if you watch Teen Mom online , you know that Amber Portwood’s fiance, Matt Baier, is pretty much the worst. This current season has been described as a sort of “apology tour” for Baier , but it could more accurately be called a “hey, everyone, I’m not as big of a douche as you thought!” tour. Baier seems to be making an effort to convince fans that Amber isn’t actually making the worst mistake of her life by marrying a middle-aged gold-digger who tried to bang all her co-stars with scenes like this “bonus clip” from the most recent episode: Matt Baier Plans Amber’s Surprise Party Does MTV have some stake in rescuing Baier’s reputation? Everyone who watched   Teen Mom OG  Season 3 Episode 5  knows that  Is this clip intended to show us that Baier went to such great lengths as calling Amber’s cousin to get her out of the house for a couple hours? Did Baier complain that he didn’t receive enough credit for throwing such a “wicked pissah”? It’s possible we’ve devoted way to much though to this. In any event, many fans believe that Baier’s main goal in hosting the party was to make nice with Amber’s baby daddy, Gary Shirley. That may seem admirable, but knowing Baier, we can’t help but see the selfish motivation behind his actions. “Gary [Shirley] and Kristina are coming,” Matt tells Amber’s understandably surprised cousin at one point in the episode. “I just invited him because it’s not like he’s not a major part of our life, so I just invited him.” You may remember that Shirley was the first one to call Amber’s attention to the fact that Baier is a deadbeat dad . Seems like an odd to “just invite him” to a party for the hell of it. It also seems like the move of a guy who’s out to convince the people in his life (especially his meal-ticket, Amber) that he’s not what he appears to be: Which is of course, a conniving jerk. What makes Baier worse than Adam Lind and the other horrendous exes of the Teen Mom franchise is that he’s actually considerably smarter than them. It pains us to pay him that compliment, but then again he’s also about two decades older than his co-stars. And sadly, the guy seems to be devoting the sum total of his intellect to wriggling out of child support payments and convincing his girlfriend that he’s not his terrible as everyone says. In conclusion: trying to not look like a D-bag somehow actually makes Matt Baier look like MORE of a D-bag. We don’t quite understand it, either.

Katie and Dalton Prager: Mourned, Celebrated By Family & Friends

Real-life Fault in Our Stars couple Katie and Dalton Prager are gone from this world, but not forgotten among those lucky enough to know them. Nor will these bright lights ever be. Their final days were, both tragically and inspirationally, emblematic of the duo relationship as a whole, as they put on the best face they could. With each knowing their all-but-certain fate was to pass away from the cystic fibrosis disease that brought them together, they were somber. Never, though, were they pitiful. After Dalton Prager died last Saturday, his family found comfort thinking that he was paving the way for his wife of five years, to join him. Katie Prager died yesterday. “He’s a gentleman,” Dalton’s dad Dave told People magazine. “Everybody’s in the belief that Dalton was there to open heaven’s gate for her.” Katie’s death on Thursday came after she decided to forego hospital stays and spend her final weeks at her Kentucky home in hospice care. Dalton, meanwhile, was hospitalized in Missouri on the very day he had planned to travel to lend Katie support and see her one more time. Both were born with cystic fibrosis, which restricts and worsens the ability to breathe over time, and carries an average life expectancy of 40. Although each received a lung transplant (Dalton in 2014, and Katie in 2015) neither fully recovered and they died within the same week. By the end, the time they spent together since their surgeries was measured not in days, but in hours, and still their love story endured . Dalton, who was most recently on a ventilator and often sedated in his hospital room, was able to connect via Skype with Katie last week. “You could tell he was struggling in his own pain,” says Dave. “When he saw Katie, his eyes just lit up. He wanted everything to look positive for her. He pulls that off quite frequently for her.” For her part, “Katie was just always positive reinforcement for him,” says Dave. “That was one of their deals with each other.”  “‘It’s going to be okay, it’s going to be okay.'” But the next night, it was not. Dalton “wasn’t coherent enough to communicate,” Dave says, adding in the possible understatement of all time that “that was tough.” He died the next afternoon, as Katie’s family gathered for an early Christmas because her doctors predicted she wouldn’t make it that long. Katie and Dalton last saw each other in person in July, for just a few minutes in Katie’s hospital room on their fifth wedding anniversary. Dave had driven with his son to pull off the visit. “He was not in good shape then,” Dalton’s dad says. “I was a little scared.” “Seeing Dalton sitting on the hospital bed next to Katie … I hadn’t seen Katie for a while, and she was very thin, very frail.” “It almost made Dalton look normal size. I don’t think Dalton looked at it that way. He was just glad to be there with her.” Talking with Katie after Dalton died, “you could tell she was heartbroken,” says Dave. “I don’t know if that was the final straw for her.” In the end, Dalton’s dad couldn’t be prouder. His son, he says, feared he might never experience romance at all: “He didn’t think he’d ever find somebody that would accept him.” Dalton also fretted that he’d be forgotten, even as he earned high school and culinary school degrees, got married, bought a house and traveled. “He darn-near accomplished everything he wanted to,” says his dad, and “If this is his legacy, to get the word out about cystic fibrosis?” “I think he would love it.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 Episode 10 Recap: Cut the Cancer Out!

On  The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 Episode 10 , Melissa made plans for the Garden State group to go away to Vermont.  Also, Teresa fumed at a family reunion. What else is new? Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 Episode 10 Online If you  watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online , you know that Tre and Jacqueline Laurita have been at odds. To put it mildly. We’ll get to that in a moment, but start on a more positive note. Mostly positive, anyway. Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga both agreed that women were hands down stronger than men. Case in point? Joe Giudice getting “worse and worse” as prison loomed. The only silver lining, Tre said, was that he would be forced to quit drinking in the slammer, and that the ordeal has brought them closer. “This is definitely the closest that her and I have ever been,” Melissa told the camera, and while true, there was plenty of strife this week. When Melissa and Siggy suggested they take a girls’ trip to Vermont, Teresa said she needed to stay with her family. Easy enough, right? Well, Siggy made her pitch for Teresa to meet Kathy and Rosie for lunch as they had asked, and that’s when things started to get ugly. “With all respect to both of you, I don’t get involved in your family life so please don’t get involved in mine,” the former convict replied. When Jacqueline pushed her a little further, Teresa snapped, “Jacqueline don’t bring up my f–king family. I don’t want to f–king hear it.” Not taking no for an answer, Siggy and Jacqueline continued insisting that Rosie and Kathy just wanted their family back, nothing more. “They should have thought about that before trashing my family,” Teresa said, and the star was later proven right in an indirect sense. When Melissa, Joe Gorga, and Jacqueline headed to pay a visit to Rosie, Kathy and her husband, Richie, the tension escalated quickly. To hear Melissa tell it: “Richie was trying to say that he loves his wife and Teresa’s husband doesn’t love her. What a dick thing to say,” she lamented. Finally, Rosie, Kathy, Teresa and Joe Gorga met up, with Kathy urging everyone involved to “go forward and be a family. Tre? Not having it. Telling them that all she wants is “to be left alone,” Giudice explained, turning her sights on Kathy’s husband Richie. “I don’t want to be hurt anymore. Every time I’m around your husband, he’s always got something negative to say.” “I’m tired. I’ve been through a lot and I haven’t heard from you guys. There’s been a lot of turmoil. I want to cut the cancer out, really.” “We’re not cancer,” Kathy replied, and while Teresa clearly isn’t convinced of that, the meeting did end without any tables getting flipped. Baby steps. Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo Get Chaperoned, Wet in Counting On Sneak Peek

Counting On’s Jinger Duggar may not follow her family’s courtship playbook as closely as Jim Bob might like, but she still has boundaries. In other words, chaperones. In a sneak peek of Tuesday’s Counting On Season 2 Episode 5, the sixth eldest Duggar goes on a fun date with future husband Jeremy Vuolo. And three siblings. Jeremy, Jinger and her siblings Jeremiah, Jedidiah and Joy-Anna Duggar will visit a local amusement park to race go-karts and more. Much more. “We have to kinda watch and keep an eye on ‘em,” Jedidiah says, and when the competition turns to bumper boats, things to go another level. Jinger decides to share a boat with Jeremy for a “teamwork” edge; Jinger’s brothers take notice and in response, spray them with water. “That was just like calling for an instant shower blessing,” Jeremiah says, and while Jeremy takes it in stride, Jinger is less than thrilled. Hey, when you break courtship rules left and right, the younger siblings are going to be taking their chaperone rules all the more seriously. We can’t be having any more full frontal hugs now, can we? No, although the way these two are going, it may be a moot point shortly. We can expect Jeremy to “browse for engagement rings” with her sister Jessa Seewald’s husband Ben on this week’s installment as well. While Jim Bob disapproves of Jeremy Vuolo  – or at least made it clear he doesn’t want Jinger to move too fast – he may have met his match. These two are so smitten it’s almost nauseating. Or actually nauseating, if you’re some fans who are taking issue with Jinger’s propensity for turning “babe” into a three-syllable word. And saying it approximately 75 times. View Slideshow: Jinger Duggar Photos: From Childhood to Courtship! “I felt a bit embarrassed by the ‘baaabe’ talk,” one fan wrote following last week’s courting-heavy show. “I don’t know about this courting thing.” “Jinger has gone from being very sheltered and home all the time to having a boyfriend to talking of marriage in a mere 60 days or so.” “Emotionally she almost doesn’t seem like she is able to handle it. The ‘babe’ thing is a little much. She repeats it over and over.” “It seems awkward to have a camera following her around at such an emotionally vulerable [sic] time. Is it really a healthy thing?”  A fair question, but one that could also be applied to so many of the Duggar family’s rules for dating, courting, marriage, sex and life: View Slideshow: 13 Things BANNED in the Duggar Family

Patton Oswalt Wins Emmy, Pays Tribute to Late Wife

Patton Oswalt took home the Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special on Sunday night. And while the win hasn’t garnered the sort of attention for Oswalt as such surprising (and deserving) victories by Rami Malek and Tatiana Maslany, the comedian is now making headlines for what he said after taking home the trophy. First, on stage, Oswalt said the following toward the end of his acceptance speech: “I want to share this with two people: One of them is my daughter, Alice, waiting at home. The other one is waiting somewhere else – I hope.” That’s a pretty amazing line. In late April, Michelle McNamara died in her sleep in the home she shared with Oswalt. The author was 46 years old, married Oswalt in 2005 and gave birth to the couple’s only child in 2009. Since McNamara’s tragic passing, Oswalt has taken the time on a couple of occasions to openly mourn his late wife. “Depression is the tallest kid in the 4th grade, dinging rubber bands off the back of your head and feeling safe on the playground, knowing that no teacher is coming to help you,” he wrote on Facebook in August He then contrasted this feeling with grief . “But grief? Grief is Jason Statham holding that 4th grade bully’s head in a toilet and then f-cking the teacher you’ve got a crush on in front of the class…  “Grief makes depression cower behind you and apologize for being such a dick.” Oswalt wrote those words 102 days after McNamara passed away. “I was face-down and frozen for weeks,” he wrote of how he felt when he first lost his wife. “It’s 102 days later and I can confidently say I have reached a point where I’m crawling. Which, objectively, is an improvement. Maybe 102 days later I’ll be walking.” Following his win on Sunday night and his acceptance speech, Oswalt was asked more about McNamara. “Every bit of growth that I’ve had in my career, especially in my writing and my performing, came because I met Michelle McNamara,” he told reporters. “Because I met and married this woman who just was so much wiser and self-actualized and aware of life than I was. I had convinced myself that I was aware and self-actualized and mature but then I met the real deal… “To have that ripped out of my life the way that it has this year – I’m not trying to say that this is meaningless, but everything seems like the lights have been turned down 50% on everything since she’s gone. “It just going to be a long, long time before I can be the kind of person she made me again.” Watch his moving post-win speech below: Patton Oswalt Honors Late Wife In an article for Time.com shortly after McNamara died, Oswalt looked back on the legacy left by his wife. He said at the time: “The reaction to her passing, the people who are shocked at her senseless absence, is a testament to how she steered her life with joyous, wicked curiosity,. “She hasn’t left a void. She’s left a blast crater.”

Mariah Carey Big Tits of the Day

Mariah Carey brought her billionaire fucking crazy person tits out in public…while in Europe because I guess that’s her new hobby, she seems to be exposing as much cleavage as she can – any chance she gets – because she’s got tits, she’s a shameless self promoting narcissist, who has huge tits which are her only real sex appeal, titty lovers don’t care about much more than the tits, and she’s got an ego from being sucked up to all these years, as well as that pile of money, making her probably the worst …but those tits..clearly divert from that…and I guess anyone dating Mariah Carey is doing it for the jokes of “guess who my wife is, you’ll never guess, have you ever heard that song from the 1990s, yeah well remember Mariah Carey the huge fucking star, yeah her”… I guess the real backstory is she’s trying to promote her TV show like she’s a Kardashian…because she’s got the same morals and values and eye on the dollar signs as them… TO SEE THE REST OF THE PICS CLICK HERE The post Mariah Carey Big Tits of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepfather .

Britney Spears: Considering Quitting Music to Do WHAT?!

Britney Spears has been enjoying quite the career renaissance in recent years. The 34-year-old singer is riding a wave of Gen-X and Millennial nostalgia with her lucrative Vegas residency , but she’s not just leaning on her lengthy list of past hits to pay the bills these days. Britney performed her latest single at the VMAs  last month and left little doubt about her continued relevance with younger audiences. Most pop stars can only dream of longevity on par with Britney’s. So why would she consider giving it all up for one of the hardest jobs on the planet? According to comments she recently made to NME magazine, Brit has contemplated leaving the spotlight behind for a life of chalkboard dust and runny noses. “Sometimes I’m like, ‘What am I doing? Like, I could be a teacher,’” Spears told the mag. Britney didn’t go into specifics with regard to what grade level or subject she’d like to teach, but not surprisingly, it seems her interests run toward music education. Just last week Ms. Spears tested her chops by taking control of a dance class for young girls: Britney Spears Teaches Dance Class She posted the video above to Snapchat, with a caption reading: “Teaching these little ones dance brings me so much joy. It’s so refreshing being with children. You’re reminded of the UNKNOWN once again… let’s all keep learning.” But while it seems she enjoyed her time in front of a group of eager pupils, Spears is realistic about how well she’d cope with the day-to-day demands of teaching after nearly two decades as an A-list celeb. “I see other people doing it, and I’m like, ‘Well, you know, it’s probably all they’ve known for so long, so it just kind of makes sense,’” Britney said. We’re not entirely sure what she means by that comment, but she seems to be saying that the reason prince-and-pauper life-swap scenarios are so rare in the real world is because we tend to grow accustomed to a certain lifestyle. Is teaching a room full of fourth graders more challenging than entertaining thousands of Vegas revelers every night? View Slideshow: 13 Craziest Things Britney Spears Has Ever Done Tough to say, but given the gap between teacher salaries and what Britney makes in a year, the music icon is probably in no hurry to find out. Besides, she can’t quit music until that Britney Spears-Justin Timberlake duet happens. After that, teach away, girl.
