Ever since the news that William got Kate Middleton pregnant broke, speculation has been swirling regarding its gender, and what they will call it. One thing’s for sure: The baby will be the heir(ess) to the throne behind William, thanks to a change in the rules of succession . A very cool thing. What will the future King or Queen of the UK and all its territories be called? It won’t be something original, that’s a safe bet. Isn’t it ironic? The son of a Masters and Johnson sex researcher was arrested for showing his, well, Johnson . The son of legendary Masters and Johnson sex researcher William Masters has been caught showing undercover cops his own johnson, and could be facing jail time. New York freelance TV producer William H. Masters III was busted near his family’s Michigan vacation cottage Saturday after allegedly exposing himself to two undercover officers posing as kayakers as part of a local sting operation. Masters’ family owns a home in super-exclusive Pointe aux Barques. “It’s a very rich, wealthy gated community,” explained a local source, “with cottages built by families like [tire magnate] Harvey Firestone.” The incident occurred nearby on the Pinnebog River when, according to the Huron County sheriff’s office, “a 60-year-old New York City-area man yelled for [the] attention” of two women kayaking by. He was on the shore and “was completely undressed and making obscene gestures.” But the boaters were “part of a combined law-enforcement-agency sting operation, working out of a two-person kayak on the river.” The women, a deputy sheriff and her volunteer assistant, then “beached their kayak to pursue the suspect” and “called for backup from [a] Michigan conservation officer . . . who was on foot in that area.” Masters, who lives in Manhattan and Southampton, was released on $5,000 bond and arraigned yesterday on one charge of aggravated indecent exposure, which could carry up to two years in jail. “This sting operation was prompted by many incidents over the years such as yesterday’s,” said a release from Sheriff Kelly J. Hanson. Masters’ father was half of the Masters and Johnson team that wrote the groundbreaking best-sellers “Human Sexual Response” and “Human Sexual Inadequacy.” Showtime is making a series about the duo, “Masters of Sex,” starring Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan. Masters is married to television producer Victoria Baker. A rep for Masters said he had no comment. SMH… what a dirty dog! For the cover story of the new issue of Rolling Stone, which hits newsstands on Friday, August 17th, writer Josh Eells followed in Ross’ considerable shadow as the rapper hustled from radio interviews to strip-club bashes in the buildup to the album release. Ross suggests that the seizures he suffered late last year were probably the result of smoking too much kush: “I’m most definitely an avid user, a pothead, however you want to look at it. I call it green caviar. It’s like a short vacation – it helps me chill out. Katie Holmes covers the new issue of Elle, and you can’t help but read into some of her quotes knowing she was about to file for divorce from Tom Cruise . Perhaps most notably: “I definitely feel much more comfortable in my own skin,” the actress, 33, says of having progressed in her 30s. “I feel sexier.” She goes on, “I think in my twenties – it’s like you’re trying too hard to figure everything out … I’m starting to come into my own. It’s like a new phase.” On the subject of being Mrs. Tom Cruise, which she apparently had enough of just weeks after giving this interview, she also hints at the breakup. “He has been Tom Cruise for 30 years,” she says. “I know who I am and where I am and where I want to go, so I want to focus on that.” As for his impact on her own career: “Things are not handed to anyone. If anything, you work a little bit harder when you’re in such visible circumstances.” Who knows if it means anything, but the NY Post says Katie did not enjoy speaking about Tom, who allegedly begged for reconciliation and is very bitter at her . “Katie didn’t speak about Tom in a lovey-dovey way at all” in the interview. “She deflected the Tom questions and brought them around to herself.” Reading between the lines or just coincidence? With the lovely, supportive Kate Middleton by his side, Prince William was knighted as a member of the Order of the Thistle in Scotland on Thursday. He received the title from his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II – the highest honor she can bestow in Scotland – around his 30th birthday last month. In a nod to her Scottish title, the Countess of Strathearn, Kate Middleton wore a soft yellow coat dress specially made for her by Emilia Wickstead. Kate and William fell in love at St. Andrews University, just outside the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, where the grand ceremony took place at St. Giles Cathedral. A pipe band heralded the beginning of the festivities before the royals arrived. Kate had a few words and a smile with a church official and was then escorted in. No reports of the Queen hating on her today, so that’s good. Prince William then joined other members of the Order of the Thistle. After several minutes, he walked to the cathedral alongside his aunt, Princess Anne. Like the other knights, including the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, he wore a deep-green velvet cloak and matching hat adorned with a white ostrich feather. A letter Michael Jackson wrote to his former wife Lisa Marie Presley – in which he complains of chronic insomnia – was set to be sold at auctioned … before until Lisa Marie found out, threw a fit and demanded it be taken off the block. She didn’t say why she wanted the letter pulled , but it’s easy to guess. Written sometime between 1993 and 1996, the letter from MJ reads: “Smell here [arrow with box] Lisa I truly need this rest I haven’t slept litterally [sic] in 4 days now. I need to be away from phones and Business people.” “I must take care of my health first Im’ [sic] crazy for you Love Turd.” Yes … Love Turd. Michael Jackson died June 25, 2009. Dr. Conrad Murray , who was injecting him with the hospital-grade anesthetic Propofol to help him sleep, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years behind bars. Julien’s Auction in Beverly Hills didn’t elaborate on the incident beyond stating that Lisa’s request was of “a personal nature” and “we wanted to honor the request.” We can read between the lines.
