His character is decribed as pessimistic, gloomy, depressed, miserable, old grey donkey who is friends with Winnie the Pooh. Eeyore’s birthday party is a one whole-day festival which is held annually in Austin Texas since 1963. It is usually celebrated on the last Saturday of April in Pease Park. This party began as a spring party and picnic for University of Texas students. Despite of the name of the festival, this event does not fall on the official birthday of the fictional character.
