Sure Scarlett Johansson is pregnant but that doesn’t mean she can’t kick butt on screen as well as at the box office. Lucy Trailer The trailer above is for ScarJo’s new movie Lucy, a sci-fi/action epic from Luc Besson, director of The Fifth Element. Scarlett plays the title character, a woman who wakes up from a night of partying to find out that smugglers have sewn a bag of drugs into her stomach. Fortunately for Lucy (and unfortunately for the bad guys) the bag leaks, transforming her into a superhuman killing machine. Okay, the premise is a little out there, but Scarlett’s career has been on a role lately, with Her taking home Oscar gold and The Avengers 2 certain to break box office records. Scarlett is doing alright with her personal life these days, as well. After divorcing Ryan Reynolds and briefly dating Sean Penn, the actress got engaged in September to advertising executive Romain Dauriac. The couple has yet to announce a wedding date. As if all that wasn’t enough, Scarlett also resumes her role as the Black Widow in Captain America: The Winter Soldier , in theaters this Friday. Safe to say impending motherhood hasn’t slowed ScarJo down too much.
Was it that serious though? Man Arrested For Punching Woman At Drive-Thru Phuck yo drive thru! According to Raw Story: A 68-year-old Florida man was arrested and charged with simple battery after being caught on video apparently accosting and hitting a woman at a fast-food drive-thru, ABC News reported on Monday. The encounter between Howard Carl Wilson and Brittani Thomas reportedly began when the vehicle in which she was riding pulled ahead of Wilson’s van while they were in line at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Winter Haven. The footage, shot by a witness in line behind them, begins after Thomas opened the passenger door to speak to him. Wilson can be seen preventing her from closing the door. United Press International reported that witnesses heard Wilson cursing and yelling racial slurs before approaching the other vehicle. The ensuing argument allegedly lasted around two minutes, until Wilson apparently punches Thomas. He then walks away from her vehicle. When police later visited Wilson at his home to ask about the incident, he allegedly told officers that he was “at the passenger door of the vehicle for no more than 15 seconds.” However, he changed his story after being shown the footage, admitting to being the person identified in the video and saying, “It was like a road rage incident.” Check out the video below. Only in Florida Woman Accused Of Performing Illegal C-Section On Dog What type of person does some fawkery like this? According to NY Daily News: A Florida woman is accused of performing a lethal C-section on a dog without anesthesia before using non-surgical glue to close the incision. Candace Patricia Hauser, who authorities said did not have a license to practice veterinary care, was arrested in Tampa Saturday — a little more than a week after the Mastiff died from its senseless injuries. Authorities say the trouble began after dog owner Brenda Hines of Winter Haven brought the pregnant Mastiff to Hauser for help after the dog went into labor on March 4. “She takes it over to the woman and the woman starts to help this dog birth by manual means — she actually reached into the dog and pulls 12 puppies out,” said Ron Spiller with the Hillsborough County Animal Safety and Enforcement. It was when the dog had trouble delivering her last two puppies that Spilled said Hauser, 31, decided to open the dog up, without anesthesia. “She glued the incision, she didn’t suture it, she glued it,” Spiller said of her handiwork once the puppies were out. The dog, described by her owner to police as in declining health, died in her owner’s car. She faces a maximum of five years behind bars and the lost right to own animals in Hillsborough County.
