“Basketball Wives” Season 4 is almost here and castmember Tami Roman sat down with Egypt to dish on what drama we can expect. On why she decided to joined the second season of ‘Basketball Wives’ With “Basketball Wives,” they approached me when they did their first season. They contacted [my manager] and I just wasn’t really ready to go on a show, talk about Kenny. I really didn’t want to go back to the reality genre. So, between the year that they had their first season and the second season, my family fell on a hardship. You know my daughters and I had been on food stamps and we had been on medical assistance through the state of New Jersey. And so I was looking for something income wise. I was working a 9-5 job in corporate America. And when I watched the first season of ‘Basketball Wives’ I felt like my story wasn’t on there. I’m sitting here like in the dark. My lights are out. You know that’s not my moment. I’m not champagne brunching and mani’s and pedi’s everyday and I felt that I had a valuable story to tell…to show my particular situation and what me and my daughter’s were going through, so I contacted VH1. On whether a fight really broke out between Jennifer and Evelyn at Shaunie O’Neal’s birthday party I can’t really give too much away but I can tell you this. This season is filled with a lot of twists and turns. Alliances that were there or that people have followed through the “Basketball Wives” journey that they thought were solid, some of those fall by the wayside, some of those alliances are re-established. You know everything is kinda all over the place and I have to tell you honestly we end the season and I feel that we’re all gonna at least be cool. That everybody can be amicable for the most part. This is the one time and we’re still taping that I really don’t know how this is gonna end. I don’t know whose gonna be friends, whose gonna hate each other, because it’s really all over the place. “Basketball Wives” Tami Roman Being Sued By Ex-Manager Meet The New “Basketball Wives: Miami” Cast Members
Kobe Bryant’s soon-to-be ex-wife Vanessa could get up to half of his net worth due to their lack of a prenup. And though we’d like to believe that (poor) decision was made because of true love, it could have been a calculated move from Vanessa, long in the making. Vanessa’s ex-stepfather Stephen Laine claims she learned her “wallet-raiding” ways from her mother, who he was married to from 1990-2003. He told TMZ : “Her mother taught her well to wait for the ten-year mark [before divorcing]. In California … it’s considered a long-term marriage and then she gets paid for life or until she remarries … just like her mother is doing to me. I have to pay her mom $1,800 every month and clearly they don’t need it. I have a six-year-old daughter and that money could be used toward her college fund or something … you’d think she’d care … but no, she’s spiteful.” Do you think there’s any truth to this? Rihanna’s “You Da One” video is coming soon and she’s given her fans a sneak peek at what they can expect. From the looks of it, she’s focusing more on the visual elements than a literal concept and does what she does best by prancing around in a blonde bob wig, bowler hats, combat-style boots, fur coats, face paint, leather overalls and a blinged-out grill. However, don’t let the styling fool you. Ri admitted to being sleep deprived, saying, “It’s the Rude Gyal movement and I’m running on one hour of sleep, like, I’m not gonna remember this tomorrow. My eyes are burning a little bit.” WATCH HER WORK HARD BELOW! Rihanna Goes Off On Twitter (Again) After Dutch Mag Calls Her “N***a B***h” Rihanna Goes Off On Racist Hotel Guest On Twitter

Vanessa Bryant, the wife of NBA star Kobe Bryant, filed for divorce Friday afternoon, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They were married 10 and a half years. Sources say that Vanessa decided to end the marriage because she thinks the Los Angeles Lakers guard has been unfaithful … and not for the first time. As one source close to Vanessa put it, “She’s been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she’s finally had enough.” “This one is the straw that broke the camel’s back.” Vanessa Bryant famously stuck by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003 (he was acquitted of all charges). Apparently the cheating didn’t end there, though, and while Kobe “desperately” wants to win her back and will do “whatever it takes” … good luck. Vanessa is asking for joint custody of their two daughters, Natalia, 8, and Gianna, 5, but is asking that the basketball superstar get visitation rights There is no prenup, so 29-year-old Vanessa is entitled to half the empire built over the last decade by NBA MVP and five-time champion Kobe, 33. She’s also requesting spousal support, which Kobe will pay. The Bryants released a joint statement saying they have “resolved all issues” privately. No word on whether Kobe plans on changing his uniform number yet again or if Vanessa plans on joining the new season of VH1’s Basketball Wives . SIDE NOTE: That $4 million ring Kobe gave Vanessa after the 2003 scandal – later referred to as “the Kobe special” by Tiger Woods – all hers. Gift, babe. [Photos: WENN.com]

This chick is lucky to be alive! Aneurysms are often fatal, so the fact that Tamala Jones managed to survive a ruptured aneurysm without any paralysis is a miracle. Jones brush with death happened 14 years ago, when she was 23-years-old, and she was initially nervous about talking about what happened for fear people might treat her differently. Now in an effort to educate the public about brain aneuryms, Tamala Jones shared her survival story with BlackEnterprise.com “[I woke] up one morning with a massive headache; feeling like I had to use the bathroom, like I had to urinate really bad. When I got out of bed I had no balance. I was walking on my toes and I was stomping. When I got to the bathroom, I plopped down on the toilet. I had no control over my body weight. And when I couldn’t go I was like, Oh, my God, I just had to pee really bad and now I don’t have to. Then, I got up because my head was hurting, and I looked in the mirror and I’m telling you two seconds after I looked in that mirror I dropped and hit the floor. I kept hearing myself tell myself, “Get up, get up now. Get up, get up, get up…,” and I kind of woke up as if somebody shook me out of a sleep, and the whole right side of my body was numb. I called work and I told them, “Something’s wrong with me. I can’t come in. I have to go to the hospital.” They told me, “You need to come into work. This is the last day of shooting for this season, and we don’t have time to wait for you to go to the doctor’s office.” [At the time] I was working on For Your Love [a WB sitcom] and I went there and my right arm was stuck in a position. I could not move it. They kept throwing jackets and purses over it trying to cover it. They were like, “You can’t bend your arm?” I’m like, “No!” And my head was still pounding. I went to the hospital after work and the doctor thought that it was a miracle that I was even alive, walking or talking, or that I even worked an entire day before I got to him. After that, I started having seizures. I had MRIs [and] cat scans, and they found out that my aneurysm actually burst. Had it been on another side of my brain I probably would have been paralyzed forever—it was on the left side of my brain and was the size of a 50-cent piece. They said once that blood dried up I would get my feeling back. I really don’t remember anything other than my grandmother coming to get me from my apartment, and me laying in my old room at her house; waking up to use the bathroom and eat. That went on for like three months. The third month I was kind of feeling back to normal. [My grandmother] took me to get shots of B-12, which I still get today, because B-12 really nourishes your nervous system and your brain is a giant nerve. So I tell people, get those B-12 shots, get yourself checked out, get a cat scan as part of your physical that you do once a year. Get everything checked out just to be on the up and up because, again, no one thinks someone 23 will have a brain aneurysm; and it’s hereditary in my family, so I always have to be careful. I hid the fact that I had an aneurysm for a very long time. I was embarrassed and I just felt like no one needed to know because it made me look weak. Who would of thought someone my age, at 23, had a brain aneurysm? My friend’s sister was like 24 and died [from an aneurysm], [and] I’d been hearing about people dying from brain aneurysms. [But] once you get older and you’re in your 30s, all that stuff that doesn’t matter so much in your 20s starts to matter. I had headaches for like three weeks. I took everything, and nothing helped—from sinus medicine to migraine medicine. I say that if you get it checked out right away when you have this headache and it’s continuously going and nothing works then you can save yourself. They can give you something to help you or they can remove it or whatever they need to do. But I felt like it was my duty as a survivor to speak about it. I mention the aneurysm to anybody that I can. Whenever I have a platform for people there that are listening. Because it’s something that happened to me and something that can happen to anybody in this world, if you are given warning then you can probably save your own life. So, I tell anybody. It doesn’t matter why I’m there speaking. I always bring up health some type of way—I segue into having a brain aneurysm at an early age. Whether it’s your heart or your head or your legs or your arms, if it’s too much pain, the doctor’s the only place to go. Not staying at home and wondering if this is ever going to go away. I just thought it was selfish of me not to even say what I survived or what I felt.” Them B-12 shots are the business! Bahleedat! On the real though, that’s crazy her employers made her come to work the day she suffered a ruptured aneurysm. We’re glad Tamala survived. People, PLEASE take care of your health! More On Bossip!
