Her family’s tryin’ to act like they don’t know anything about it but her bedsores and infested apartment prove that she wasn’t being taken care of. A team of rescuers had to tear down a wall in the apartment she lives in with her family and kids just to get her out! According to the Daily Mail: A 500-pound woman is recovering in hospital after she was found lying in her own waste covered in bedsores and maggots. The unidentified woman, 41, had to be extricated from her Detroit apartment by a team of experts and taken to St John Oakland Hospital where she will remain in intensive care for the next two days. She lived at the home with her husband and four children. Now questions are being asked about why no one did anything to help her sooner. The family revealed she has been bed ridden ever since a 2011 car accident which left her with a smashed pelvis. The woman was on some kind of state assistance, which may have been cut off, according to a preliminary investigation, officials said. The apartment showed signs of a bio hazard, insect infestation and was deemed uninhabitable after a fire crew removed a wall in order to rescue the woman, according to The Detroit News. Her children – two toddlers and a teen – have been turned over to the care of an aunt. The house has been sealed with the belongings inside. Police spoke to the woman’s husband – who has also not been identified – who said he tried to help her. Crying, he said: ‘I love her and it was hard, and it was just me. And I just did the best I could for so long.’ Warren Police Commissioner Jere Green revealed he also spoke to the children and sister and said an investigation is underway. ‘Obviously, there was a failure somewhere for this lady to get the care that she needed.’ Looks like her hubby’s best wasn’t too good for her OR their dayum kids!!! Dear Bossip , I look forward to reading these letters everyday its usually the first thing I do before I even log into work! Well, I have a dilemma on my hands. I’m a 32-year old mother of 3 kids, and I’ve been dating this nice Southern man for about 1 year. I recently introduced him to my children and they really like him. He is a great guy, family oriented, gainfully employed, great sense of humor, basically all the things I’ve asked for, BUT he is dumb as a brick. I don’t mean to be mean but I’m serious. Even to the point where my 15-year old has given him the side eye at some of the things he says. Don’t get me wrong I’m no scholar myself. I do okay though, and when I need too I Google or right-click something I’m willing to take the time to learn. But, this man just decides to use my brain instead. He’s always asking, “What should I say?” Or, “How do you spell this?” It’s getting to be so annoying!!! I don’t know if you have ever argued with a special brained person, but let me just say I’d rather beat my head against a wall. It’s starting to affect the way I look at him as a possible mate for the future. But, as the old saying goes I don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water. Am I being too picky? What do I do? – Brained Burned Out Dear Ms. Brained Burned Out , LMBAO! Well, when you asked for this great guy who is family oriented, gainfully employed, with a great sense of humor, did you think to ask for someone who is smart, intelligent, wise, and educated? LOL! I’m from the school that you get what you ask for. So, if you’re not specific in your request from the universe, then you will end up with what you got. If you just want a man, any man, then you will get any man. That is why so many people end up in the relationships they have. They are not specific in the requests for the type of man they need. If you don’t expand your own ideas of a mate, then you will get what you ask for. If you don’t ask for a single, eligible, spiritual, loving, successful, gainfully employed, smart man who believes in monogamy, and who is able to express his love, desires, wants, and needs, and who desires and willing to be in love, desires and willing to be committed, desires and willing to grow and become a better man, then you will not meet or get this type of man. Be specific in your request for the man, or woman, you need in your life. And, believe me when I tell you this, people show up in your life to teach you lessons, to help you grow, and to become a better you. And, this man may be the one to help you grow, teach you a lesson, and experience something you’ve never experienced before. LOOK FOR THE LESSON IN THIS, AND IN THIS RELATIONSHIP. He just may be the man of your dreams if you’re willing to invest in him. Now, I’m not saying you have to stay in the relationship with him. If you’re not compatible, and you feel you are not growing, and he’s not helping you to grow, then get out of the relationship. But, you can encourage him. Engage him. Invite him to sit at the computer with you and learn as you’re teaching him. Recommend books to him. Take him to the museum, and on other cultured events where couples can learn and do things together. Make your date nights educational, yet, exciting for you mentally, physically, and emotionally. Take up a cooking class together. Hell, you can even learn a foreign language together. The point I’m making is that your man appears to be willing to learn and to be shaped. The fact that he is asking questions says it all. He wants to know. And, I’m sure he knows he’s not smart as a whip. Besides, Ms. Honey, if he is everything you want and desire in a man, but lacks the brain smarts then shape that man into the man you want and need for him to be. Help him to see his potential. Help him to realize his greatness. This is just an investment in him, and in your relationship. And, think about it, he’s not cheating on you, misusing you, abusing you, got another woman pregnant, and he doesn’t make you feel inadequate or unworthy. You said he is a great guy. Then make him wonderful! Yes, it can become redundant, overwhelming, and a pain in the a** when you’re constantly helping him with something. You’ve been doing it for over a year. So, if you’re not willing to invest in him, and the relationship, and he’s really becoming annoying, then imagine if you stay another year, 5 years, or 10 years. It will only get worse and you will resent him, thus, his mere presence will be an annoyance for you. You will start to belittle him and embarrass him in public. You will get joy out of making him feel stupid. And, that is not healthy or smart. So, get out now if you don’t want this to be the rest of your life with him. But, just know that the next time you ask for a man, be more specific in your request: SMART, INTELLIGENT, WISE, and HUMBLE WITH HIS INTELLIGENCE. The bus driver put the c-c-c-combo breaker on her face, should he go to jail? A Cleveland bus driver has been suspended following the surfacing of an online viral video depicting him viciously punching a female passenger : The 94-second video — posted online begins with an unidentified woman shouting obscenities at the bus driver. The woman then appears to strike the bus driver, who gets up from his seat and approaches her before landing a brutal uppercut that knocks the woman down. Just before the haymaker is thrown, someone can be heard saying on the video: “You going to jail now.” The bus driver, who has been identified as Artis Hughs and has employed by the agency for 22 years, then physically removes the 25-year-old woman and her pink jacket from the bus. She then reboards the bus, where the two briefly continue scuffling as passengers try to end the melee. “That’s a [expletive] female,” one passenger shouts. “I don’t care,” the bus driver responds. “She want to be a man, I’m going to treat you like a man.” Mary Shaffer, a spokeswoman for the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, told FoxNews.com in a statement that an investigation into the Sept. 18 incident has been launched. “Upon identifying the driver, he was immediately suspended and removed from duty,” the statement read. “His behavior is absolutely unacceptable.” The victim, who has been identified Shidea Lane, did not file any charges at the scene. Hughs also did not file any charges against Lane. RTA officials apologized to customers for the incident. Grandmas can be hoes too Unclothed Grandmother Arrested For Offer Herself To Officers Via NYDailyNews An Indiana grandmother with a record of prostitution was arrested after she allegedly tried pulling her moves on police, while watching her 2-year-old granddaughter, Tuesday night. Indianapolis police officers arrested Jacqueline Burse, 53, around midnight on preliminary charges of neglect of a dependent and resisting law enforcement, local media reported. Responding to a call from the toddler’s other grandmother — who believed that Burse might have been drunk while watching the child — police arrived at the city’s Dollar Inn around 10:30 p.m. When Burse opened the door, she and the toddler were naked. The nude woman cursed at officers and did not respond to their requests that she clothe herself. As if that isn’t bad enough… When police tried to handcuff her, she started offering sexual favors. Burse put her hands on her chest and tried to wrap one of her legs around an officer, according to a police report obtained by the Indianapolis Star. “Do you want some of me?” Burse allegedly asked. Throughout the confrontation she continued cursing and, at one point, started screaming without making any words. Police later got Burse in handcuffs and called Child Protective Services for the toddler. Apparently this woman has been arrested for everything from drugs to slangin’ her box on the block. Reports say the alleged act was consensual , but the boys have been charged with child rape since the state rules ‘anyone under the age of 13 cannot consent’ to intimate adult activities…if convicted, they face 30 years in prison since Tennessee has very strict Age of Consent Laws. According to The Daily Mail : A small Tennessee town has been rocked by child rape charges against the high school’s star quarterback who allegedly had relations with a 12-year-old girl who fell pregnant. Princeton Harlan, 18, who has garnered interest from six colleges across the southeast to play football, was charged with two other team-mates for child rape in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee on Wednesday. Harlan, who was released on $100,000 bail, stands accused of having relations with a 12-year-old girl who fell pregnant in July and terminated the pregnancy, authorities said…Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Cincinnati have shown interest in the 6-foot-4, 188-pound senior quarterback, the paper reported. Holder, who knows Harlan and the family of the 12-year-old, added: ‘It’s traumatic for what’s happened for her. For both parties involved it’s pretty hard.’ Another local, Wayne McWright, called the news ‘alarming’. ‘It’s a tragedy more so for the young girl,’ he said. ‘Then also my heart goes out to the young fellow, too, because somehow he got off track. Young people sometimes do foolish things.’ Harlan was released from jail on Wednesday after posting $100,00 bail. He will be arraigned November 5. Authorities began investigating Harlan and two other suspects, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, last month after the girl told her mother she thought she was pregnant, WKRN reported. She was four-and-a-half weeks pregnant when the pregnancy was terminated, authorities said. They have not given any indication on who fathered the child. The teenagers allegedly had relations with the girl on separate occasions in July but police would not reveal how they met the child. Harlan was arrested without incident outside the high school. The other teenagers have not been named because of their ages but have been released to their parents. Too many questions for this one. Where were her parents? According to Essence : Teased by her family and friends about her flat “pancake” booty, Apryl Michelle Brown had always been insecure about her backside. Once she got enough money, she told herself, she’d buy herself a better one. “I didn’t know if I wanted to look like Janet Jackson or J. Lo,” the Los Angeles cosmetologist, 46, says in an exclusive interview featured in the November issue of ESSENCE magazine. “I just wanted a new, bigger booty.” Tragically, her quest for curves cost her all her limbs and almost her life. In 2004, Brown says she paid a “pumper,” an unlicensed person, to inject industrial-grade silicone into her buttocks. Brown can’t recall how much the woman actually charged — maybe $500, maybe $1,000 — but over time, she says, the area became intensely irritated and painful, and the skin blackened. By early 2006 she says the silicone had hardened, causing severe pain and infection, ultimately requiring her to have lifesaving amputation of her limbs last year. Now adjusting to her new life with prosthetics, Brown shares her story — and her warning for others tempted to check out “pumping parties” — with writer Amy Elisa Keith in ESSENCE. “I was left here for a purpose,” she says. “I have to get the word out so that nobody else makes this choice.” We hope Apryl’s story is a warning that’s taken seriously. The M.D. actually pushed the baby’s detached head and body back into his Moms birth canal. This poor couple have filed a lawsuit against their doctors ; accusing them of decapitating their son during his delivery back in 2011. The story reads like a horror story… According to The Daily Mail … “when the expectant mother prematurely went into labor on March 22 only 28 weeks and five days into her term, the complaint indicates that Dr Webb ‘would not agree’ to the Cesarean and ‘would only deliver her baby by way of attempted trial of vaginal delivery.’ The couple claim that the obstetrician also refused to let them go to a different hospital for a Cesarian. ‘Believing that she had no other choice than to agree to a trial of vaginal delivery, plaintiff Arteisha Betts consented to a trial of vaginal delivery under duress and protest,’ according to the complaint. The infant’s head was delivered in the first stage of the birthing process, but in the second stage which got under way at around 10.30pm, the lawsuit claims that his large abdomen became lodged in the birth canal. According to the complaint, Dr Webb applied traction to the child’s head in an attempt to dislodge his body, at which point the infant was decapitated. Citing the complaint, the Courthouse News Services reported that blood shot out from the baby’s arteries and veins, spilling onto the floor in full view of the mother and Ammonette, who was sitting only two to four feet away from the birthing bed. The lawsuit states that Webb then ‘pushed decedent’s head and body back into plaintiff Arteisha Betts’ birth canal’ and called for an emergency C-section. The doctor started cutting into the woman’s abdomen before the anesthesia fully set in, causing her great pain and suffering in the process, the suit says. During the procedure, the doctor ‘surgically and completely removed’ the child’s head from his neck and torso. Before handing the little boy named Kaden Travis to his parents, Webb had allegedly ‘intentionally concealed’ his neck wounds, although the complaint does not specify how it was done. The Daily Mail was unable to reach the couple’s attorney, Christopher Wright of the firm Millikan Wright in St Louis, on Thursday. Calls to the two medical centers cited in the lawsuit also went unanswered. The suit seeks unspecified damages to cover pregnancy costs, funeral expenses as well as personal injury and wrongful death. SMH…prayers go out the parents and family. We can’t even imagine.
