Tristan Thompson: Did He Cheat… WITH Khloe Kardashian?!?

Tristan Thompson is a serial cheater. This much cannot be denied, not based on the surveillance video footage of Thompson macking on other women while Khloe Kardashian was pregnant. And not based on Tristan’s own words, as one can quickly note that he’s never once denied getting busy with a number of Instagram models late last year and earlier this year. So, yes, Tristan Thompson likes to sleep around. But did he once sleep around… with Khloe?!? It’s been remarked on many times since Khloe and Tristan got together, but it’s worth repeating for those unaware: Thompson was in a serious relationship with a woman named Jordan Craig back in 2015 and 2016. Just how serious, you may be wondering? Craig gave birth to Thompson’s first child in December of the year! Tristan and Khloe went public with their romance a short while later, prompting some to speculate whether Thompson actively left Craig for Kardashian. It’s a fair question, given what we now know about the professional baller. And it’s one that just came up again on social media. On Sunday, a Twitter user shared several very old paparazzi photos of Thompson and Kardashian together, alleding that the 34-year-old had “staged” the picture so that she would be the center of attention the day after Craig delivered her and Thompson’s son, Prince. This individual felt a need to bring this up in response to Khloe Tweeting: A birth is not something you can “redo”. Once you make that choice you can never get it back #KUWTK think big people. Agreed, the troll wrote, explaining: “Jordan will never get that moment back where U made the birth of her & Tristan’s son all about YOU. U staged pics so everyone would see you with T at the Bel Air hotel a day after Jordy gave birth. “U could have been classy & made it a private moment between parents.” Khloe, who was on Twitter for awhile following the airing of an emotional Keepiing Up with the Kardashians episode , couldn’t help but respond as follows: What are you even talking about. Their son was born December 12th these images were taken many months later. And baby girl, i have been wearing those rings way longer than I’ve known TT. Get your facts straight. Instead of heeding this advice, however, the person took his/her beef with Khloe to a very unexpected place. “Khloe, you are such a pathological liar,” the harsh critic wrote, actually adding: “We all know what you were doing to Jordy back then. Posting pics of you and Tristan on vacation together. Jordan is class and you are trash. “Jordan also wears vegan fur and you wear the real stuff. You’re a joke to animal lovers and women.” Wait, what? “Lol got it! Lol your issue is with the fur! You clearly don’t know Tristan or myself so you have no idea our timeline babe,” Khloe responded, concluding: “But I’m so flattered that you pay such close attention to me for all of these years to the great life love. Thanks for the support.” The latest few episodes of her family’s reality show have focused on Tristan’s cheating scandal. Khloe has admitted that they’ve been difficult to watch, especially as she tries to work things out with Thompson, but that she’s doing her best to move on. Which is not to say she has any clue why Thompson acted the way he did back then. “I’ll never understand either,” she wrote to a fan slamming Thompson for his actions last night. “I try to live a very honest and positive life. But I know that God doesn’t make mistakes. “He wants me to go through certain things so I can grow and I [was] given a platform to hopefully help others not feel so alone and so we can grow together. I find strength [in] so many people. “The greatness in my life definitely out weighs [any] bad thing that has ever happened to me. I focus on the beauty of it all.” View Slideshow: Kim Kardashian & Family: 19 Conspiracy Theories That May Actually Be True (Okay, Some of Them)

What’s Next For Stacey Abrams And Andrew Gillum? Fallen Candidates Hint At Political Futures

A ndrew Gillum ‘s concession this weekend in the Florida gubernatorial election followed Stacey Abrams ‘ one day earlier in Georgia, leaving their political ambitions unfulfilled … for now, that is. While their midterm election losses by the narrowest of margins were a major letdown for their campaigns and supporters, both races also showed how perhaps with more support from the Democratic establishment and less voter suppression — a major factor in each election — they could, or, at least, should emerge victorious with another run. The question is, do they have any more campaign runs left in them? For Abrams, the answer was clear: A resounding yes. “I’m going to spend the next year as a private citizen, but I do indeed intend to run for office again,” Abrams told said during an interview on CNN Sunday morning. “I’m not sure for what, and I am not exactly certain when. I need to take a nap. But once I do, I’m planning to get back into the ring.” Stacey Abrams: “I do indeed intend to run for office again, I'm not sure for what and I am not exactly certain when. Considering how much effort Republicans put into stopping Democratic and Black voters, some might consider her loss by fewer than 55,000 votes a victory. It certainly shouldn’t take any wind out of her sail even if the Blue Wave didn’t prevail in Georgia’s governor race. Gillum’s future was a different story, though. The person who was trying to become Florida’s first Black governor remained the mayor of Tallahassee after he conceded on Saturday night. He was expected to remain in office in the state capital through the end of his term next year. But after that, it was anybody’s guess. A tweet Saturday may have provided a glimpse into what’s next for him, but it was certainly open to interpretation. “We are going to keep fighting. We will keep working,” he said in a post to Twitter that was accompanied by a photo with his wife, both of them clad in orange, the school colors of their alma mater Florida A&M University. “And in the end, I believe that we will win.” We are going to keep fighting. Wake-Up Call To Democrats: ‘Black Women Get Things Done’

Read the original post:

A progressive organization wants to send a message to the Democratic Party and other liberal groups in the wake of last week’s midterm election victories: Place Black women in leadership positions. See Also: Blue Party: Say Hello To The Black Wave African-American women have been the backbone of the party and the progressive movement, yet Democrats have been selective in rallying around some Black women candidates while giving little support to others. To add insult to injury, Black women are all too often overlooked for leadership roles in the movement. Enter Yvette Simpson , who was named CEO of Democracy for America ( DFA ) on Wednesday and is poised to take the political action committee’s reigns on Jan. 1, when she will become the first woman to lead the organization. Simpson said she was on a mission to change the value that Democrats and progressives see in Black women. “My being in this role is a big deal,” Simpson told NewsOne on Wednesday. “For the first time the progressive movement is putting a Black woman at the helm of a traditionally white-led organization. I hope it sends a strong signal to the Democratic Party, the progressive movement and our nation. We know that our country is becoming more Black and Brown, and we need to have that representation.” Yvette Simpson takes helm of Democracy For America, Howard Dean's thing. pic.twitter.com/tjsg3HiRoI — Chris King (@chriskingstl) November 14, 2018 With a membership roll that exceeds one million regular donors and volunteers, DFA has a wide focus on progressive issues such as eliminating income inequality, dismantling structural racism and funding candidates of color. It launched in 2004 under the leadership of former Vermont governor and Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean . “After an election year defined by historic firsts and the profound impact women of color played in delivering them, I couldn’t be more excited about Democracy for America’s future with Yvette Simpson as its new chief executive,” DFA chair Jim Dean , the brother of Howard Dean, said in a statement. Black women candidates, like Ayanna Pressley , are part of the 2019 freshman class in Congress who received no support from Democrats. The party opposed the progressive candidate during her historic run to become the first Black woman to represent Massachusetts in Congress. Even the Congressional Black Caucus Political Action Committee backed her rival , incumbent Rep. Michael Capuano , in their primary race. “We went out and supported Ayanna Pressley from the start saying she is the right choice for this district,” said Simpson, who served as DFA’s federal electoral manager for the 2018 midterms. Simpson, a former Cincinnati City Council member who had an unsuccessful bid for mayor last year, said she planned to focus on recruiting and supporting candidates of color for the 2019 and 2020 elections. “You’re going to see us on the ground and partnering with (Black) organizations like the Collective PAC , Color of Change , Higher Heights to make sure we are finding the best candidates, candidates that represent the new American majority, Black and brown people, women, progressives, and make sure we give them the support they need to win,” she said with great anticipation of things to come. With a Black woman leading DFA, the organization will be able to build bridges to minority communities more effectively, she predicted that her crusade for the Democrats and the progressive movement to be more inclusive. “You and I both know that Black women get things done,” she declared. Wake-Up Call To Democrats: ‘Black Women Get Things Done’

Black Politicians Are Trying To Save The Democratic Party From Itself

View original post here:

W hile Democrats made some noteworthy strides in last week’s midterm elections, the consensus seemed to be that the party has been going down the wrong path of politics as of late. And nowhere has that been more clear than among its leadership, which has suffered a series of missteps and blunders that may have contributed to Democrats not being as successful as they had hoped in the crucial elections. All of which likely explains the apparent internal revolution going on with the Democratic Party, which could emerge post-elections with new leadership. See Also: Black Women Call Out DNC And Ask For Meeting: ‘Organizing Without Black Women Will Prove To Be A Losing Strategy’ With the party struggling to recover from a political retreat for several election cycles, Speaker of the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been in the political crosshairs of Democrats who are eager to take her position . Ohio’s Rep. Marcia Fudge , a member of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), is one of the latest to hint at plans to compete for the coveted House Speaker post, telling the Huffington Post on Thursday that she’s “overwhelmed” by all the folks who want to see her challenge Pelosi’s leadership. “I don’t hate Nancy. I think Nancy has been a very good leader. I just think it’s time for a new one,” she said, adding that there are far more lawmakers who oppose Pelosi’s leadership than the 17 who signed a letter saying they won’t vote for her to continue as speaker in 2019. “I've not made a decision, I'm still thinking about it,” Rep. Marcia Fudge tells @ElizLanders tonight, adding she's been “overwhelmed” by people urging her to run. pic.twitter.com/0vP9686qZ7 — Ashley Killough (@KilloughCNN) November 15, 2018 Fudge dismissed the narrative that Pelosi led the party back to power in the House and criticized the California Democrat for failing to advocate for Black lawmakers in Congress. Perhaps most troubling to Black Democrats is Pelosi’s eagerness to make peace with President Trump , who brought his long history of racism with him to the White House. Shortly after Democrats won control of the House, the speaker began talking about the same bipartisanship that the Trump-led Republicans have avoided like the plague. Meanwhile, Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez also came under fire from the CBC. Caucus members passed a vote of no confidence on Wednesday against Perez who took over the DNC in February 2017. Perez praised Black women for leading the party to victory last year in key races in Virginia and Alabama. However, when it came to several Black women candidates in 2018 races, the party showed little support initially, like in the case of Ayanna Pressley . Yet those same Black women stepped up as voters and candidates alike to help the party regain control of the House.
