The Entire Board Of USA Gymnastics Resigns Following Disgraceful Sexual Abuse Case

Scott Olson/Getty Images Entire USA Gymnastics Board Asked To Step Down Every member of the USA Gymnastics board announced they will resign after the U.S. Olympic Committee forced its hand on Thursday, demanding the remaining members step aside before January 31, otherwise facing termination by the sport’s national governing body. A USA Gymnastics spokeswoman told ABC News Friday, “USA Gymnastics will comply with the USOC requirements.” Of course, the move by the  USOC  comes in the wake of Larry Nassar’s sentencing on Wednesday to 40-175 years in prison for the sexual assault of  nearly 160 U.S. gymnasts under his care. He pleaded guilty to seven counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving girls who were 15 years old or younger. USOC Chief Executive Officer Scott Blackmun made these demands in a letter addressed to the USA Gymnastics Board of Directors on Thursday. They acknowledged the board’s recent resignations, but called for further steps to entirely reboot the organization since there were 16 board members who had yet to step down. An excerpt from the letter states: “We are also aware of the recent resignations of USAG board chair Paul Parilla and three other board members. Now that these steps have been completed, USAG must build on them with a categorically fresh start at the board level.” The letter does not implicate that the board had anything to do with covering up the Nassar allegations, but instead states the “culture needs fundamental rebuilding.” McKayla Maroney, who won a gold medal as part of the women’s gymnastics team in 2012, filed a lawsuit against USA Gymnastics and the USOC in December, saying they “failed to properly investigate, disciple or remove” Nassar.

Go Back To Bed: Singer From Yesteryear J. Holiday Says He’s Sick Of Successful Black Female Artists Getting Grammy Nominations

J. Holiday Lashes Out At Beyonce, SZA, And Cardi B. For Getting Grammy Noms Remember J. Holiday? We’re guessing probably not. So if you need a reminder, once upon a time he had a song called “Bed” that was actually a song by The-Dream and was really popular on urban radio for a few months back in 2007. Anyway, he just randomly resurfaced a few days ago with a few gripes about Black women using their “pain” in their songs to turn it into musical success and leaving Black men in the dust of disrespect by calling them out on their BS…or something. It wasn’t quite that clear what point he was trying to convey besides his own saltiness as an R&B one-hit-has-been. In his rant, he basically blames Beyonce , SZA, and Cardi B for being so good at what they do that they leave no room for Black men to come get the shine they deserve. We guess. “So apparently the Black men still losing to the women—I get it. No disrespect, I was raised by a woman, I have two older sisters, man, I have absolute, all respect for Black women. But with that being said, understand this, man: Black men, African-American men, men from the hood, we go through everything to make sure that who we care about are taken care of. [We] don’t swing d**ks around…don’t do all this bullsh*t to be seen. I got daughters, man. Beyoncé, Cardi B, SZA—all y’all motherf**kers—stop using that f*cking pain to make it OK to say some bullsh*t on your record, and get nominated for a Grammy for going through some bullsh*t. Because so have I as a Black motherf**king man.” O…K… Perhaps if J. Holiday channeled some of his OWN pain into some music he might have a career in the modern age ? Furthermore…he seemed to have missed the part where Jay-Z was nominated 8 times and Kendrick Lamar nominated another 7 for doing exactly that this year. Plus, singers like Mali Music, Khalid, Childish Gambino (singing on his latest), The Weeknd and Burno Mars all snagged noms. So what he’s talking about…we aren’t too sure. What do YOU think of J. Holiday’s rant against female artists getting nominations? Getty Continue reading

Ashley Graham’s Fat Tits of the Day

Ashley Graham held her massive fat chick tits in a nun’s habit to really attempt to offend every fucking person out there…. I know that it’s so easy to mock a fat chick for being fat. There are 101 joke books written about fat people. I am a fat man and I have been called fat my whole life, I have been given every fat joke, from hot chicks I was picking up in bars, to girlfriends, to co-workers, to everyone…..and I don’t fucking cry about it, I don’t start some fat empowerment movement that other fat people jump on…and I don’t get featured as the leader of fat in ways that pretend I am not fat..so that I can be like Halloween pretending to be hot when clearly I’m just fat… But Ashley Graham did…. And every single magazine that features her, celebrates her for more than being a fetish for black dudes and big tit lovers, is doing more harm than good. There is a crisis in America, the Fat Crisis, it’s not the women’s rights movement, it’s not your president fucking porn chicks, or whatever is going on….it’s obesity. Everyone sits, everyone eats shit, over 50 percent of the population is pre-diabetic…that is fucking nuts… Yet, pigs like this, who no one wants to look at, are getting in magazines saying “It’s ok to be a fat, lazy freakshow”….even though SCIENCE and MEDICINE tells you otherwise… IT IS NOT OK TO BE FAT. IT IS NOT HOT TO BE FAT. Sure, we’ll look at her tits, and watch the disgusting novelty act because there’s nothing else going on, but Fat Shaming is important so people don’t think it’s OK to be fat, just because they are fat. It is Not Ok to be fat…and that’s coming from a fat person…I know. Fuck off Ashley Graham….don’t you have cake you should be eating instead of polluting our lives… Here she is named…. Ciara Responds to Backlash After Shaming Unmarried Women!

Even though it hasn’t even been two full years since Ciara and Russell Wilson got married , Ciara apparently feels like she’s in a place to give some very heavy-handed marriage advice. After Ciara shared some “advice” that didn’t go over very well with fans, she received quite a bit of backlash. Some believed that she was shaming women for not being married. Now, Ciara is speaking out. But we’re not sure if this is going to smooth out those ruffled feathers. Ciara seems to be one of those people who thinks that there’s one right way to do things — and it’s whatever way she happens to do them. And she’s also apparently one of those people who thinks that she can just stand above everyone else and give out advice. On Instagram, Ciara shared a video of a sermon with the quote: “Too many women want to be married, but you’re walking in the spirit of ‘girlfriend,'” a quote by the pastor who is speaking in the video, John Gray. Ciara then added to it: “#LevelUp. Don’t settle.” As you can imagine, this didn’t exactly go over well with a lot of fans. Nobody follows singers to get preached to. “Ciara’s playing a dangerous game. You should never, no matter how perfect your relationship/marriage appears to be, sit on a throne and tell people why they’re not romantically successful. You can be the queen of the ball today and have cake in your face tomorrow!” Others took issue with the pastor’s line, and the distinction that he gives between wives and girlfriends, saying: “The difference between the two is a ring and a piece of paper…this speech is a hot piece of garbage.” Others brought up Ciara’s past. People who formerly lived in glass houses still shouldn’t throw rocks. “Ciara telling women to ‘Level up’ and live ‘like a wife’ so they can b married is astounding to me. Didn’t you need grace, mercy, & compassion when you were being dragged up and down the Internet for the Future situation? How quickly ppl forget when they reach a perch of privilege.” Some, however, defended Ciara, saying that fans were hypocritical and just rejecting the advice because it wasn’t what they wanted to hear. “Y’all wanted to know how Ciara snatched a Russell Wilson, and she told y’all but now y’all mad. LMAO.” Others lashed out at how people had brought up Ciara’s past. “Ciara’s GROWTH has nothing to do with her denying her past …. Y’all heffas get mad at fellow women for trying to encourage you to do BETTER because you deserve better but you’re also upset when men degrade you. Y’all Just gotta play victim because Hoe is Life.” We think that the issue is that “girlfriend” isn’t worse than “wife,” it’s just different. A lot of her fans felt like they were being shamed. Ciara responded with an Instagram post that … well, it’s probably not going to endear her to the people who didn’t like her previous post. “I was [once] that girl wanting to be loved a certain way bit was making the wrong choices. I found myself at my lowest moment.” That sounds so sad. “I was a single mom sitting at home, and then I realized that the perfect love I was looking for was how God loves me, how He wants me to be loved, and who He was calling me to be as a mom and a woman.” A lot of folks are going to object to her describing single motherhood as her “lowest moment.” “That’s when I realized married [or] not married… I needed to love myself. #LevelUp” Self-love is a valuable thing to learn. Not everyone wants to get married now  or to get married ever , but everyone wants to love themselves. It’s not clear whether Ciara believes that Russell Wilson found her alleged godliness so attractive that he wanted to marry her, or if she believes that her current marriage is a divine reward. Maybe both? A lot of fans still Surely, if Ciara doesn’t like being mom-shamed , she shouldn’t … existence-shame women? But we should acknowledge that this is what worked for Ciara. Clearly, some fans want to know how she found her current happiness, and she’s sharing it. Just because it clearly wouldn’t work for everyone doesn’t mean that she’s wrong to share the advice, right? Anika Noni Rose Says FBI Concealing Identity Of Plane Passenger Who Sexually Assaulted Her

Image via Splash Anika Noni Rose Reveals Sex Assault On Plane Anika Noni Rose has come forward to reveal that she, like millions of other women, have been sexually assaulted. According to DailyMail , Rose appeared on SiriusXM’s Make It Plain show and revealed that she was touched inappropriately while she was sleeping by a man sitting next to her on a plane last year. To make matters worse, the Dreamgirls actress also charges that the FBI is concealing the name of her attacker. ‘I have never spoken of this, but I will say this out loud now: I was assaulted on a plane last year. And I haven’t been able to get this person’s name; they won’t give me the name of the person.’ Anika says she alerted the flight attendant, despite some reservations, and requested that the plane land and the attacker arrested. However… There’s a Freedom of Information act. You’re supposed to be able to get people’s names. I made a report right then with the FBI and they dropped it. They dropped the case,’ she said. She also had this to say: ‘I don’t really know how you deal with that. It was such a sly violence—such a sly violation,’ she added, saying, ‘It’s a really tough thing to deal with when something happens to you, and you do everything you’re supposed to do, and somebody somewhere else decides: ‘Well, we’re not going to go forward with this. We’re not going to look into this any further.’ You’re walking around in circles asking for information that is owed you. The amount of care that is taken to protect perpetrators is vastly heavier and stronger than the amount of care that is taken to protect victims.’ WTF is up with the FBI??

Maci Bookout Reveals Miscarriage Heartbreak

When it comes to shows like Teen Mom OG , there’s good drama, and there’s bad drama Good drama is stuff like the feud between Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood –entertaining fluff of no real consequence. Sadly, it seems that on this week’s episode, viewers will see Maci Bookout endure drama that goes beyond “bad” and into the realm of tragic. A preview clip from the episode shows Maci and husband Taylor McKinney at dinner, discussing the possibility of expanding their family. It seems they had previously talked about the possibility of adopting, and both agreed that they would prefer to adopt a child in the “4 to 6 age range” rather than an infant. After the adoption discussion, Maci reluctantly revealed that she would be open to the idea of getting pregnant again, “If you seriously want to have another baby, then I’ll do it, but I still want to adopt, too,” she told Taylor. “But if we want to do it naturally, I want to do it, like, now.” “If we want it to happen, it’s gonna happen like that,” Taylor replied, with a snap of his fingers. At that point, the tone of the conversation changed abruptly, and a downcast Maci remarked, “You’re forgetting something.” Taylor sat silent for a moment before meekly excusing himself from the table. When one of the show’s producers came over to see if Maci was okay, she made a tragic revelation: “I had a miscarriage,” Bookout said. “Her name is Dande. Dandelion.” “I don’t want to talk about it,” McKinney interjected. “I think it’s important for people that are watching that we talk about it,” Maci said. “I would like to talk to our parents about it first,” Taylor replied. There’s obviously no rule book for dealing with something like a miscarriage, and both parties make valid points about discussing the matter publicly. Other women who have suffered miscarriages may find solace in learning that Maci shares their heartbreak, but at the same time, even reality stars are entitled to a modicum of privacy. It’s terrible that Maci had to endure such a loss, but she’s no doubt serving as a needed source of support for those who have suffered in the same way.
