Odd Future’s South By Southwest Adventure: Watch Now!

MTV News cameras capture L.A. collective’s 2011 SXSW journey. By James Montgomery, with reporting by Christopher “CJ” Smith Odd Future’s Tyler, the Creator Photo: MTV News By now, the carnage has been cleared and the backlash has already begun, but earlier this month, Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All — the 10-member Los Angeles rap collective/sleeper cell with whom we are currently obsessed — stormed the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas, playing more shows than anyone could possibly fathom (officially/unofficially, the number stands at seven), leaving a path of destruction and laceration in their wake.

Holly Madison Being “Honored” On All Fours of the Day

The obvious thing to say here is that Holly Madison is being honored on her knees, something she’s used to, you know something that has lead to this pretigious moment in her life where Planet Hollywood Las Vegas has given her the honor of having her wonderful hands that along with her throat helped her get her this honor, you know of being immortalized in some cement tile they will put on the wall, until they rennovate in 15 years when her legacy is forgotten , making her feel like she fucking matters, even though she was the only person willing to show up to the restaurant that day and they needed anyone who had been on TV to make their customers believe it actually was Planet Hollywood, and it was convenient cuz she lives down the fucking street, cuz trash like her, with fake tits and Playboy careers find Vegas to be the center of the fucking universe…the trophy their slutting out has privileged them with….and the whole thing is a fucking joke…but at least we can look down her whore dress….

See How Michel Gondry Accepted Sony’s Offer to Direct The Green Hornet

As the wonderful Michel Gondry told Movieline this week , his decision to direct The Green Hornet — a film he had played footsie with since 1997 — was not some desperate money grab, but rather the fruition of a lifelong dream: “I came into Hollywood trying to do this movie.” Was Gondry nervous then when Sony finally offered him the opportunity? The director — who is also quite the proficient sketch artist — was kind enough to draw his feelings on the matter for Metro reporter Ned Ehrbar . Click ahead to see the results.

Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz

Clearly, Cameron Diaz seems more intent on learning the sport, while Rodriguez just enjoys a little relaxation on the high seas. It#39;s out of season for baseball, but a great time for paddleboarding – which Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz enjoyed this week while on vacation with his two kids in Los Cabos, Mexico. The pair, who have made habit of vacationing in Mexico, have been soaking up the rays in Los Cabos all week long.

Pamela Anderson Covers Playboy… With a Poem!

Pamela Anderson posing on the cover of Playboy is about as rare an occasion as Dina Lohan passing up an open microphone. Indeed, the former Baywatch star graces the front of her 13th issue this month, but there is something different about the January 2011 edition of the men’s magazine: it’s the first to include a poem by the actress. Along with an eight-page nude pictorial, Anderson pens the following words inside the issue: “Our best isn’t good enough – right now our eyes are far-reaching. Please let’s show the good in us… The brilliance… The wonderful… It’s abundant – it’s just not tapped as it should be.” Anderson also has a profound message for President Barack Obama: So many are with you… I can think of many positive parts of now.. That you spearheaded. “May all your bombs be bombshells.” Truer, less clear words have never been spoken by someone posing with her clothes off in Playboy for the 13th time.

The Situation Accused of Cyber-Jacking Shirtless Painting

Jersey Shore star The Situation (Mike Sorrentino) has been accused of posting an image online without the creator’s consent … feel ya on that, Sitch! Celeste Gillis, an artiste, created the wonderful shirtless painting of The Situation you see below. She contacted him on Facebook last month about it. It’s a decision she likely regrets in light of the current situation. Celese immortalized Mike on canvas and told him that he could either purchase the work for a price … or else credit her art website on his Facebook page. Instead, Sitch posted it without doing either. But he did add a caption: “THE MAN THE MYTH THE LEGEND.” Wait, that has nothing to do with the artist either. Hilariously, Gillis says she never asked him to take down the pic … because she didn’t think he would understand copyright laws. Probably pretty spot on.

LED Lighting Has Become Almost Boring, and That’s A Good Thing

spacewalker by Dark, displayed by Eurolite all lousy images by Lloyd Alter We become so jaded and blase´. A few years ago, walking through the Light Canada Show (part of IIDEX and the Green Living Festival in Toronto) I was bug-eyed at all of the wonderful innovation in LED lighting. But in just a few years they have become mainstream and commodified, and I really found the pickings to be slim, mostly just another strip light or street light or ceiling. I know that this i… Read the full story on TreeHugger

The 5 Weirdest Game Show Contestants Ever

I’m still reeling from Jeopardy! champ Roger Craig’s nonchalant domination and record-setting victory last night, even if I’m a little disappointed in his ho-hum demeanor. The best game show moments happen thanks to competitors with zany personality quirks, or at least some darting pupils. In tribute to the freaky fun of this wonderful genre, let us revisit the five weirdest contestants in game show history.

Lisbon Store Interior Built From Cardboard

Fabrizio Gallanti of Abitare , the wonderful Italian design magazine, sends us LOW, a store and bar in Lisbon designed by Pedro Campos Costa and built entirely out of cardboard. The products sold are all made from at least 50% recycled materials, so it is logical that the designer built the store completely out of cardboard. … Read the full story on TreeHugger
