Do not cry for Kris Jenner, readers. Kris Jenner certainly isn’t crying for Kris Jenner. In the wake of her confirmed separation from Bruce Jenner , the reality star talked to People and said there wasn’t one thing in particular that brought the marriage to a halt. Kris Jenner: Happier Without Bruce! “I just think it has evolved,” Kris said . “I really can’t put my finger on it. We’re just happier now.” This is the same sentiment echoed by multiple members of the family. Rob Kardashian says no bad blood exists between the Jenners or Kardashians and Bruce Jenner says he’s doing great. Both sides also say there are no plans for a divorce. Kris and Bruce married in 1991, but the latter has been staying at his home in Malibu often over the past year or so. “There was definitely a shift in the way we treated each other,” Kris says. “We will always be the best of friends, because that’s the dynamic of our relationship. We definitely get along as a family and with the kids; we’re so connected in that way. We love each other.” And both will appear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 9 as well, with various sources saying their separation will be a major plot point on the series. Kris adds she’s thankful she no longer has to keep her marital status a secret, concluding that everything is now out in the open and everyone is getting along very well. “It’s a very wonderful dynamic. It’s just not something that’s real negative and nasty. I love really hard, and the people that I have in my life that I love will always be in my life forever. It’s ultimately like one big happy family.”
In honor of Throwback Thursday, here’s a look at one of our favorite viral videos in recent memory, a time lapse documenting the happenings of a father and son. While mom is away at work … this is what goes on: Dad-Toddler Time Lapse Emio Tomeoni of Kansas City shot this amazing time lapse video to show his wife, Stephanie Ramos, what she misses while she’s at the office. The video condenses several hours into mere minutes. In typical toddler fashion, what begins with a clean living room quickly devolves into utter chaos. Diapers, toys, bongos, food … mom, you missed out! For better or worse? We’ll leave that up to you to say.
Kendall Jenner is at it again. The 17-year old daughter of Bruce and Kris Jenner is apparently dealing with her parents’ separation by posing for somewhat seductive selfies in bed. She recently puckered up and published the following pair of photos to her ever-growing (ever-inappropriate?) Instagram account: This is far from the first time Kendall has struck a pose that some may deem far too mature for her age. Remember these bikini and no-pants pics ? Or this photo of herself in a sports bra and workout gear ? Fortunately, Kendall turns 18 in just a few weeks (November 3), so let’s hope she at least waits until then before her pictures REALLY get racy. What do you think of this latest round of Kendall Jenner photos ? They are… Inappropriate! Harmless! View Poll »
James Woods is not what you’d call a fan of President Barack Obama. The 66-year-old actor expressed his opinions on Twitter this week in the wake of the federal government shutdown, placing the blame for it on Obama. Woods, who is dating Kristen Bauguess , also criticized the president for various other problems in the U.S., including gun violence and race relations. He responded to both those who agreed with him and those who did not, calling Obama an “abomination” and linking to articles about the shutdown. Woods said the remarks might keep him from being able to find a job in Hollywood, but that he’s resigned to that fate after he put “[his] country first.” Some of his most choice Tweets about the POTUS: I believe Barack Obama has done more for gun sales, less for race harmony and more damage to community than any president ever. Sixteen tears of machine Democrats shredding the fabric of this Republic will toss the greatest democracy on the trash heap of world history. I think Barack Obama is a threat to the integrity and future of the Republic. Might be slightly difficult for you if those of us who didn’t vote for Obama all left. Who would pay for all your stuff? Yes, remember when Obama cried crocodile tears for the victims of chemical weapons in Syria? Never heard another word, did we? Imagine if we just took care of our own citizenry and stopped foreign aid to nations who wanted us dead. One final word. I am truly saddened that the few Lib detractors are so ugly in their approach. I would welcome polite differing viewpoints.

Tiger Woods may or may not be the greatest of all time , as his girlfriend claimed Sunday, but his 79th career PGA Tour was definitely one of his most special. He savored it with his four-year-old son, Charlie. Tiger Woods, Son Charlie “This is the first win he’s ever been at. That’s what makes it special for both of us,” said Woods after he destroyed the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational field. “He’s never seen me win a golf tournament.” With his son accompanying to the clubhouse after the win, and in speaking to the media, the top-ranked golfer offered a brief look into his private life. “It was awfully special for me to have him here to witness it because he understands it now,” he added. “He understands when I make birdie, when I make par.” “It’s just special to share that kind of moment.” Woods has kept his family out of the spotlight in the aftermath of his divorce from Elin Nordegren and the intense scrutiny that surrounded the scandal. But by winning this tournament and celebrating with his son, Woods is again offering a once-rare glimpse of him as a family man, father and human being. Earlier this year, he went public on Facebook to confirm his romance with girlfriend Lindsey Vonn , which would have been unheard of in years past. He is closing in on Sam Snead’s record 82 career wins, but hopefully many more simpler, tender moments like this that really count are in his future.
Oz the Great and Powerful (2013) is out on Blu-ray, but if you want to spank your flying monkey the best you’ll see is Mila Kunis cleavage. Another big budget blockbuster, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013), is a little more generous with the magical mams from slinky blonde Pihla Viitala . Enter the Dragon (1973) gets a 40-year anniversary re-release and Ahna Capri ’s colossal cans are looking as good as ever! Finally the Netflix original series House of Cards is out on DVD with the nude debut of Kristen Connolly , who you may remember as the virgin archetype from the summer hit The Cabin in the Woods (2012)! See pics after the jump!
In an age where Franchise is king, and studios are scared to do much else but rest on their laurels, it is refreshing to see a film with enough Heart to fill a 70’s girl rock section at your local used record shop. That film is The Kings of Summer . Like most low-budget indie films, it’s not perfect. It doesn’t approach perfect. But then, a film’s job isn’t to be perfect. At least not a film like this. The Kings of Summer is charming, touching, and genuinely funny, and that’s more than can be said about most movies that probably cost 50 times what Kings cost to make. Nick Robinson stars as Joe Toy, a boy growing increasingly unable to handle life at home with his strict single father Frank, played by the always hilarious Nick Offerman. Joe’s best friend Patrick, played by Gabriel Basso, is equally as frustrated with his parents, whose general dorkiness and intrusive disposition are completely relatable, if a tad over-the-top. One day, Joe encounters a clearing in the woods, and has a vision to build his own house there to live for the summer. After some convincing, the less adventuresome Patrick agrees to come along, and the two boys, joined by the completely bizarre social outcast Biaggio, played by Moises Arias, run away from home and take to the woods to build a house. While the initial freedom is exhilarating, personal issues between the friends begin to boil, and what was supposed to be a stress-free Summer quickly turns sour. Robinson and Basso give remarkably honest performances for such young, unproven actors. Their ability to be both snarky and sincere is impressive. The film’s major turning point is made so incredibly heartbreaking and relatable by Robinson’s proclivity for subtlety. The best part of the film is played out in complete silence and near-motionlessness. That’s a tough feat to accomplish. Arias, best known for playing a typical Disney one-note annoying side character on Hannah Montana , is hilarious (if not still a tad one-note) as the wry one-line machine Biaggio (who confuses Cystic Fibrosis for homosexuality and “never really saw himself as having a gender.”) Offerman plays a character a bit too similar to his (undeniably amazing) Ron Swanson persona on Parks and Recreation , while Megan Mullally and Marc Evan Jackson bust out perfect comedic performances as Patrick’s parents. Cameos from Alison Brie, Kumail Nanjiani, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Eugene Cordero, and Thomas Middleditch round out what is essentially a Los Angeles comedy nerd’s fantasy cast (I know we’re a small niche, but it’s nice to be nodded at). The small-scale story is set in the 90s, which seems to serve only to escape our present crackhead-like dependence on technology (would kids really take to the woods these days?). Otherwise, the period-ness of the film is generally lost. A lot of the humor comes from asides as opposed to from the story, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it does separate the drama from the comedy in a slightly unnatural way (take out the jokes—which are great—and it would still feel like a complete movie; Contrast that with a comedy like Anchorman ). But The Kings of Summer is a fresh take on the “Coming of Age” tale. Sure, it can be described as Stand By Me meets Lord of the Flies , but really it stands out in that Kings relies very little on nostalgia and romanticism, and more on realism and cynicism. Overall, The Kings of Summer is one of those indie films that does exactly what an indie film should do. It doesn’t reach too high. It’s a simple story that’s well-written and well-acted, and a delightful way to spend 90 minutes. RATING: 4/5
It turns out Lindsey Vonn has good reason to be shook over Elin Nordegren … Tiger Woods’ ex-wife hates her guts! Via US Weekly reports : If Elin Nordegren had her way, Tiger Woods wouldn’t get another swing at love. The golfer’s ex-wife, who divorced him 2010 after his epic cheating scandal, “hates Lindsey Vonn and everything about this romance,” a source tells Us Weekly. Woods, 37, and the blonde Olympic skier, 28, have been dating since last fall and went public back in March — with high-profile dates at NYC’s Met Gala in May and multiple excursions with Sam, 5, and Charlie, 4, Woods’ kids with Nordegren. Swedish-born former model and nanny Nordegren, the source adds, is “angry Tiger even has visitation rights to the kids.” The stunning mother of two’s own romantic life post-scandal has been much more hush-hush: Although they’ve taken pains not to be photographed together, Nordegren was romantically linked to coal magnate Chris Cline — who lives near her $12 million beachside estate in North Palm Beach, Fla. — earlier this year. What does Woods think about Nordegren’s anger? “He doesn’t care about her,” the source adds of his wife of six years. “He’s so egotistical!” Vonn, meanwhile, recently said things are going great with Woods, although the intense scrutiny on their romance has been “been difficult and interesting . . . But we’re dealing with it and we’re happy, and that’s all that matters.” SMH. Elin gotta get over it. She’s got two kids with Tiger and they have over a decade of co-parenting ahead of them.
