Brian Farrell: Dating Sonja Morgan!

What can viewers expect when The Real Housewives of New York City returns with season four on April 7? This preview offers an overall tease. But let’s get more specific: over at least the first two episodes, we’ll meet Brian Farrell, a 42-year old artist who grew up in Long Island and is dating cast member Sonja Morgan. According to his Facebook page, Farrell grew up with an alcoholic and physically abusive father. He subsequently battled depression and even attempted suicide on more than one occasion. “Today, I am no longer drinking or take any medications,” he writes on that social networking page. “I enjoy a healthy life of yoga, surfing, sleep and diet.” No word on whether or not Farrell is still dating Morgan, but she gushes about him on the premiere: “We have all these hedge-fund banker friends together. I get my financing from them and they buy his paintings… He comes in these tight white T-shirts with the jeans hanging low.”

Oprah Half-Sister to Tabloids: No Thanks!

We’re not entirely sure if Oprah Winfrey being united with her half-sister really qualifies as the ” miracle of miracles ,” as the talk show host hyped over the weekend. But there is something truly remarkable about the discovery made by Oprah just prior to Thanksgiving: Patricia, the woman who spent years tracking down her birth mother and who learned in 2007 that she was related to one of the richest people on the planet, had multiple opportunities to sell this story to the tabloids. She refused. Oprah Winfrey, Half-Sister “All Patricia wanted was the truth,” an insider tells Pop Eater “She wasn’t interested in selling her story, even for a million dollars. She just wanted to know who she was, where she came from and if she had any brothers or sisters. She had no idea when she started this search she would end up being Oprah Winfrey’s half-sister.” Sources say the “starting point” for an interview with Patricia would be one million dollars. But the woman who, appropriately, first met Oprah on Thanksgiving Day, is showing no signs that she’s interested. Concludes this insider: “No one knows what the future holds for the family. Patricia doesn’t want a dime from Oprah and certainly wasn’t going to take money from a tabloid whose offers are now pouring in.

Having never gone more than one full season without a boyfriend, it’s not shocking that Jennifer Love Hewitt really wants to get married. But we were still caught off guard by just how badly the large-breasted actress is dying to walk down the aisle, a fact she made clear during an appearance on Ellen this week. Asked if she has an engagement ring chosen just in case Alex Beh pops the question, JLH replied: “I actually have three because I feel like I’m doing the guy a favor. I feel women are very confusing. We never know what we want and we’re not very good at nailing that down for them. And I feel like I don’t want to be upset if he picks a bad ring, so I feel like having three picked out and saying, “Look! Look at this plethora of things you can chose from!” Hewitt was engaged to Ross McCall but broke off the engagement in early 2009. No word on whether or not the ring he chose played a role in the split.

The Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis has lost his wife already. Damn dog, guess that b*tch they call Karma done came fo’ yo’ a** huh? It’s all good, we’re sure there are plenty of fish in your sea. Joe Francis and longtime girlfriend Christina McLarty were just married last month, but she has already had enough, according to Radaronline.com. A source tells the website that Christina “moved out of their Bel Air home and into her mother’s house” and the couple may already be considering a divorce. The ‘Girls Gone Wild’ founder reportedly dished about his marital troubles during Bruce and Kris Jenner’s annual Christmas eve party. “He was talking about the details of the separation openly while at the Kardashian holiday party,” the source told Radar. “Christina moved out a bit after Thanksgiving.” No word on whether there was a prenup or what will happen to Christina’s $500,000 ring. He bought this broad a $500,000 ring!?!? Man we sure hope Joe got that prenup poppin, because in the illustrious words of the great Kanye West: “When she leave yo’ a**, she gon leave with HALF”. Justin Bieber’s ‘Ride’ Leaks Online

So it comes as no surprise that the pop star took to the studio to confess his love-stricken teenage emotions through his music. In the latest of his odes to women comes the previously unheard track called “Ride,” which surfaced on the Internet Wednesday (December 22). Over a beat that sounds similar to old-school video game sound effects, Bieber serenades his adorer, confessing that he’d go above and beyond to spend time with her. “We could go anywhere, to the moon and through the air/ We could go to the movies or the mall, baby I don’t care/ Yeah this is true, wanna be with you/ And I just wanna ride with you,” he sings. No word on whether the sugary tune is old or a possible submission for Bieber’s next project. However, the tune sounds like it might be a demo for a female vocalist as the pop singer ends the first verse with the line: “I could be your queen but you could be my boo.” “Ride” isn’t the only new Bieber song to have surfaced online recently as Justin’s club-ready “Latin Girl” also leaked just a few weeks ago. In addition to the tracks, Biebs has also been in and out of the recording studio with some familiar faces working on his next album, which is tentatively set to drop late next year. While it’s not clear whether Diddy will make an appearance on the Canadian heartthrob’s next project, one act the singer is confirmed to have worked with is Rascal Flatts . The country trio’s lead singer, Gary LeVox, spoke about the Bieber collabo in a recent interview with country radio station WSIX. “[Justin] asked us to do a duet with him on his next record,” he said. “It’s actually a really good song! The couple’s first child, Locklyn Kyla Vaughn, was born on Saturday in Chicago. The couple had a daughter, Locklyn Kyla Vaughn, on Saturday, People.com reports . Little Locklyn was born in Chicago, the actor’s hometown, weighing in at 7 pounds and measured 20 inches long, Vaughn’s rep tells the website. “Both of them couldn’t be happier to welcome their sweet little girl into their family!” a family friend said of the new bundle of joy. Last year, Vaughn opened up to People.com about fatherhood, saying, “It’s the first time that I really want to have kids. I’ve been very fortunate in my career, and my life has been about that for so long that you get bored of it. You’re ready for your life to be about other people and other things.” Vaughn and Weber , a Canadian real-estate agent, announced they were expecting a baby in July. The couple married in January of this year in Chicago with close friends and family in attendance. Earlier this fall, Vaughn was caught up in a bit of controversy surrounding a gay joke he made in a trailer for the upcoming Ron Howard-directed relationship comedy, “The Dilemma,” which was later removed. “The Dilemma,” about a man (played by Vaughn) who learns that the wife (Winona Ryder) of his best friend (Kevin James) is having an affair with another guy (Channing Tatum), will be released on January 14. Paul Bettany Finds Exception to ‘Thou Shall Not Kill’ in Priest Trailer

Yep, there’s actually a little-known clause to that “do not kill” commandment – vampires and human beings who create or protect them must be killed. At least, according to the new trailer for Priest . I was actually brainstorming clever ways to call out this Paul Bettany vs. holy vampires flick on completely ripping off last year’s Paul Bettany vs. angels flick Legion . But it turns out that the same guy, Scott Charles Stuart, directed both movies. And now I’m a little curious about Stuart.

Get Ready to Explore Even More Layers in Inception Video Game

At a Rome press conference for Inception , director Christopher Nolan unveiled plans to develop an video game version of the blockbuster that will explore “all kinds of ideas that you can’t fit into a feature film.” No word on whether these ideas involve mind-bending dream puzzles or just more snow-mobile chases and shootouts with faceless goons in the Arctic. Still, if Nolan oversees this it may change the tune of those who dismiss video games as a lesser art form and encourage more major directors to explore the medium. [ Hollywood Reporter ]

‘Jersey Shore’ Adds Deena Nicole Cortese To The Cast

On Friday (August 6), MTV announced that New Jersey native Deena Nicole Cortese has joined the cast of “Jersey Shore.” A longtime friend of show favorite Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Cortese is currently shooting with the rest of the crew in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. She joins the original castmembers, which includes Snooki, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Ronnie Magro, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Pauly “DJ Pauly D” Del Vecchio and Vinny Guadagnino. The Cortese news was revealed at the Friday meeting of the Television Critics Association. Cortese, 23, describes herself as “class in a glass and party in a body.” (There’s no word on whether she, too, has a Snooki-esque nickname.) If possible, she plans to bring even more partying to the hit series. “I bring a lot of energy into the house,” she told The Associated Press. “I party.” The second season of the reality series premiered last week to a record-breaking 5.3 million viewers.
