Well, it’s Thanksgiving on Thursday, and some of you may be feeling like you’re walking into the annual dinner table political debate with a depleted arsenal. After all, ISIS hasn’t been defeated in 30 days; Obamacare is still the law of the land; our borders remain wall-less; and our totally emotionally-stable president has declared war on Marshawn Lynch and Lavar Ball. But don’t worry, you can always divert attention away from the issues by focusing on the fact that … college kids are getting drunk! Yes, Malia Obama (or Obummer , if you’re so inclined! Derp !) is a student at Harvard now, which means that instead of engaging in activities that are appropriate for presidential offspring (colluding with foreign dictators, slaughtering elephants for fun, etc.), she’s busy hitting the books. But while Malia’s more studious than, say, Eric Trump, who we hear isn’t allowed to use paste without supervision, she’s still a 19-year-old girl, so it’s no surprise that she likes to occasionally cut loose. Sadly, instead of enjoying wholesome activities like sliding into the Kremlin’s DMs or cramming a tusk into her carry-on, Malia is drinking, hooking up with dudes, and yes … puffing on the devil’s lettuce. In short, Malia has been “partying,” and for some reason, that’s being treated as news. According to TMZ, Malia was spotted making out with some guy while tailgating before this weekend’s Harvard-Yale football game. Other reports are taking things a step further, with claims that Malia acted “pretty drunk” at the game. One witness even claims she was spotted smoking weed outside a pizza place prior to the big game, which is literally the most college thing we’ve ever heard. As folks who creepily fixate on the private lives of teenage girls can tell you, this isn’t the first time that Malia’s been spotted–in the words of one witness–“living her best life.” Over the summer, Malia went to Lollapalooza , where she puffed on some jazz cabbage and danced with her friends, like she was some sort of college kid at a music festival or something. So there you have it, folks. Come Thursday, when your sicko lib-cuck nephew is asking you to pass the tofurkey, you can inform him that he supports the party of degeneracy. Of course, it’s possible you’ll have choked to death on your Stove Top by then, what with having been forced to suffer the sight of kneeling football players and grimace your way through pre-meal prayers that don’t end with a rousing chant of “merry Christmas!” Stay strong out there, patriots! Bill O’Neill is an Ohio Supreme Court Justice. He’s also a candidate for Governor. And, to hear him tell it, he has had sex with 50 “very attractive females” during his life. Which would be fine, if he hadn’t boasted about this on social media using information that might lead to some of those women being identified. It’s a terrible political move. And yes, his campaign manager has quit. Wouldn’t you? Senator Al Franken apologized for groping and kissing a woman without her consent . But apologies don’t make things magically go away, and many are calling for him to resign. Apparently, that didn’t sit right with Ohio gubernatorial candidate Bill O’Neill, as he posted this very cringe-worthy rant to Facebook. “Now that the dogs of war are calling for the head of Senator Al Franken,” his post begins. It’s already off to a rough start, because that does not describe the state of things. (Some have called for his resignation, but a graceful retirement after a scandal is hardly the end of the world) His post gets immediately worse: “I believe it is time to speak up on behalf of all heterosexual males.” Generally, people speak up on behalf of underdogs instead of on behalf of the demographic group that dominates every nation on Earth. But please, continue. “As a candidate for Governor, let me save my opponents some research time.” (Never a good idea; make them work for that dirt) “In the past 50 years, I was sexually intimate with approximately 50 very attractive females.” One, that’s bragging and oversharing. Two, don’t refer to women or girls as “females.” It tends to rub people the wrong way. Anyway, his boastful post gets worse: “It ranged from a gorgeous personal secretary to Senator Bob Taft (Senior) who was my first true love and we made passionate love in the hayloft of her parents barn in Gallipolis.” That is way too much information. Oh, O’Neill can tank his career by oversharing about his genital adventures all that he wants. But he should not have told so much about these women. “… And ended with a drop dead gorgeous red head who was a senior adviser to Peter Lewis at Progressive Insurance in Cleveland.” Then he talks about some pretty good policies: “Now can we get back to discussing legalizing marijuana and opening the state hospital network to combat the opioid crisis.” And then he promptly makes things worse again. “I am sooooo disappointed by this national feeding frenzy about sexual indiscretions decades ago.” So, in other words, he’s completely missed the point. Nobody’s talking about “indiscretions.” Sleep around all that you like. The national conversation is about consent. it’s about sexual harassment and sexual assault. And Bill O’Neill should be ashamed of his post. At first, however, he defended making the post, saying that he opposes a “new standard” that, in his mind, means that: “If you’re not absolutely pure you’re not eligible to run for office in America. That’s wrong.” Apparently he failed to actually listen to the national conversation even once. Unless any of those 50 alleged hotties were underage or not consenting, then he didn’t have anything to worry about. By the way, in the process of defending himself, Bill O’Neill also lamented that Roy Moore’s accusations of molestation are condemning him “without due process.” That is literally not how due process works. Roy Moore can’t be imprisoned without evidence and a conviction. The presumption of innocence expands to the courtroom, not to hearts and minds. Or votes. As we mentioned, Bill O’Neill’s campaign manager quit. Chris Clevenger announced his departure on Twitter: “The comments made today by @ BillForOhio were both disturbing and misguided. As a victim of sexual assault, I cannot in good faith remain a part of # TeamONeill .” He followed that up with a tweet: “Sexual harassment and assault is no laughing matter. The next Governor of Ohio must take it seriously to receive my vote.” That’s a good policy to have. Finally, someone got through to Bill O’Neill, because he posted an apology on Sunday morning: “There comes a time in everyone’s life when you have to admit you were wrong. It is Sunday morning and i am preparing to go to church and get right with God. But first I have to get right with my family, my friends, and the thousands of strangers who have been hurt by my insensitive remarks.” Not to mention the two women whom he described a little too well. “I am sorry. I have damaged the national debate on the very real subject of sexual harassment, abuse and unfortunately rape. It is not a laughing matter. It wasn’t when I prosecuted sexual misconduct for the State of Ohio, and it is not now.” It’s good that he’s owning it fully. “To my daughters, Katie Corrin O’Neill, Tiffany O’Neill Scullen, and my sisters Patricia O’Neill Sacha and Mary Kaye O’Neill, accomplished women all, please accept my public apology for dragging you into this matter.” When a male politician screws up, everybody wants to know what the women in his family think. “You deserved better treatment than this. I love you, respect you, and yes. I was wrong. Thank you for loving me enough to stand up to my departure from a loving life. ” It’s still stunning that O’Neill was able to hear about all of these allegations of assault and harassment and see it as an opportunity to brag about his conquests. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are featured on the latest cover of Us Weekly. But the former MTV reality stars are not alone. They are joined by a certain brand new baby who is now an official part of their family: Mr. Gunner Stone!!!! Indeed, Montag gave birth to the couple’s first child on Sunday, October 1. According to a rep for the ex-Hills cast members, the precious little fella weighed in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 19 inches in length at the time he took his first few breaths. A source at the time also said Gunner is rocking some blond hair and has a pair of blue eyes, two facts you can now verify for yourself… … because here’s your very first look at Spencer and Heidi’s baby! As for the somewhat unusual name? Pratt says it’s meant to be taken sort of literally. “He’ll probably be a pitcher, so when Gunner steps to the mound, he’s going to be gunning those throws down home plate,” Pratt explains , changing sports and adding: “If he wants to be a skier, he’s going to be gunning down those moguls. It just applies to a lot of sports.” That’s true. Not everyone names his or her offspring after a verb that applies to various athletic events… but, hey, not everyone is Spencer Pratt, either. Heidi, meanwhile, simply says Gunner was the “best fit” after a lot of “back and forth” debate regarding potential baby names . Pratt hammers home the pitching them a lot in this cover story, joking (we assume?) that one is “not a good parent if you’re not trying to get your son set up to potentially get a $250 million gig.” And he hasn’t forgotten about his feud with former co-star Lauren Conrad, either. That star gave birth to a son named Liam in July and Spencer really hopes the kids face off against each other on the diamond someday. “Hopefully they’re on rival sports teams,” says Pratt. “That’s what I‘m looking forward to.” For more from Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag – including exclusive baby pictures and Heidi’s five-hour delivery, along with who’s changed more diapers – pick up the new issue of Us Weekly. It’s on newsstands now. View Slideshow: Celebrity Babies: Who Became Parents in 2017 NOTE: Click through the gallery above for a look at ALL the famous people who became parents this year. God, Wendy Williams sucks. Earlier this week, the talk show host stuck her irritating nose in the business of Nelly, commenting on a serious allegation leveled against the artist: A woman has claimed Nelly raped her this month after she met up with him inside a tour bus following a concert in Washington. Despite the seriousness of this allegation, and her complete lack of information regarding what transpired, Williams felt a need to offer an opinon this past Monday. And it was a very controversial one. “If she did not put herself in that situation, this wouldn’t have happened,” Williams actually said , blaming the alleged victim and then dressing her down as follows: “Young lady, you’ve got to stay out of tour buses.” Because Williams said if she did not put herself in that situation, this wouldn’t have happened , stunned critics called Williams out for saying it's a woman's fault if she gets sexually assaulted. So Williams took to the air today and clarified her position. “Sometimes, I might say something that you don’t understand,” Williams explained, now blaming the audience for misunderstanding her words. But, I am the girl to cop to it,” she added, randomly going on to say it can be “tough” to anchor her talk show without a co-host. “During the story, I was telling you that there was a young woman who went on the tour bus,” she continued of how she addressed the rape allegations made against Nelly. “Maybe cavalierly you caught my comments saying, ‘Well you gotta watch where you go.’ I didn’t mean anything by it.” Yes, maybe we, the viewers, caught her comments cavalierly . This is our fault. Williams proceeded to tell the story of how she was scared to walk around alone as a young woman and often feared that she could have been sexually assaulted. Even though she never was. Going all third person on us, Williams said the following: “There was a girl named Wendy and she was only 13-years-old, but looked like a woman.” This 13-year old would often run errands and encounter “disgusting” men and it really freaked her out. At this point, Williams started crying, playing the victim of a crime that was never committed. “All I’m saying regarding young women is, I apologize if my message was met with callousness,” she concluded. “What I meant to say is, young ladies, we should be able to go wherever we want to go, but, we always have to know where the exits are… “We always have to be aware, that’s all I was saying.” Watch the embarrassing non-mea culpa below:
In the past three months, Kailyn Lowry welcomed her third child , graduated from college, developed a TV pilot, and signed a new book deal. If that’s making you feel lazy or unambitious, you may want to stop reading, because somehow, the girl didn’t stop there. Following a difficult breakup with Chris Lopez , many fans assumed Kailyn would just stay single for a while. But the girl didn’t name her memoir Hustle & Heart for nothing. Ms. Lowry never slows down, and her heart seems to regenerate at twice the speed of mere mortals’. Which is why it’s not all that surprising that Kailyn has already put the past behind her and moved on with a new dude–one who apparently lives very nearby. Rumors that Kailyn is dating Dionisio Cephas began circulating last week following a flirty tweet exchange between the neighbors. (At one point, Dionisio tweeted that he lives next door to Kailyn, but he may have been joking.) Obviously, we want this relationship to happen, if for no other reason than Dionisio Cephas might be the single greatest name we’ve ever encountered. Fortunately, it looks like these two are 100 percent hooking up. Un fortunately, they’re still in that stage where neither of them wants to admit they’re officially dating. Both parties addressed their non-relationship relationship in a recent interview with Radar Online. “I wouldn’t say we’re dating. I’m not dating anyone. But if I was going to date anyone, it would be him,” Kailyn said, sounding very much like someone who’s in a new relationship and trying not to jinx it. Much rejoicing took place on social media, as Kailyn has been through a fair amount of BS over the years, and TM2 viewers have been quite vocal about their desire to see her find love and happiness. So there was some consternation and confusion amongst Lowry lovers when Kail tweeted the following over the weekend: “Just when you think you like someone they’ll give you a cool 5 reasons you’re wasting your time.” Thankfully, Dionisio (we will never get tired of typing that name) put fans’ fears to rest today, telling Radar: “Everything is fine as far as I know.” Of course, since he’s playing the same denial game as Kailyn, Cephas added: “No, we are not dating yet. Time will tell.” Dammit, we’re just gonna go ahead and make it official for them: Kailyn Lowry and Dionisio Cephas are dating, everyone! Get on social media and spread the word! There, now neither of you has to be the first to go out on a limb. You’re welcome. As always, you can follow the link to watch Teen Mom 2 online and relive Kailyn’s turbulent love life from the beginning. View Slideshow: 13 Craziest Kailyn Lowry Rumors: Fact vs. Fiction
Not every couple on 90 Day Fiance ends up as bitter and full of mutual loathing as, say, Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali. But that doesn’t mean that every couple gets their happily ever after, either. Kirlyam and Alan Cox, however, are one of those beautiful exceptions. They lived the dream and made it and are a happy couple. And this summer, we told you that Kirlyam was pregnant . They were due in September, but sometimes the best things take a little extra time to prepare. (And yes, of course there are baby pictures) There are schemers and cheaters and toxic relationships left and right on 90 Day Fiance . But we can’t forget about the good relationships, too. Alan Cox was doing his work as a Mormon missionary in Brazil when he met Kirlyam. The two of them hit it off. And though there were issues — Kirlyam may have looked a bit like a mail-order bride to some of Alan’s peers, while marrying Kirlyam meant leaving her family behind in Brazil for Kirlyam — they went through with their engagement and got married. Honestly, we’ve loved watching the two of them be adorable nerds together on Instagram, whether they were going out to see Wonder Woman or geeking out about Harry Potter . The most dramatic part of their relationship, in our estimation, is that Kirlyam’s family couldn’t afford the trip and had to watch a livestream of Kirlyam and Alan getting hitched. In fact, the only downside to these two is that their high-on-love, low-on-drama relationship doesn’t make them as juicy fodder for the 90 Day Fiance cameras (or their spin-offs). But check out their latest adorable development! Baby Liam was born on the 6th of October, 2017. Alan Cox took to Instagram to share the wonderful news: “Welcome to the world Liam Jordan da Costa Cox. Born 10/06/17 at 7:57 pm. 6 lbs 15 oz 20 inches long. Baby and momma are doing great. I’m so proud of you @kirlyam_. You are a true warrior. I love you so much!” He also translated it, like most of his updates about Kirlyam, into Portuguese for Kirlyam’s relatives. Awww! She pushed for twenty hours , which is enough to impress us but the thought of that makes us want to curl up and die. Sharing an up-close photo of precious baby Liam, Alan shared the experience of every new parent. “Loving life right now! Well except the no sleep part.. hahahahaha but then I look at Liam and suddenly I’m not so tired.” He’s so cute! Alan Cox elaborated about Kirlyam’s labor experience. “I do not have the words to describe what I feel for this wonderful woman. I am so proud of her. She was an absolute warrior in the delivery room. After 20 hours of active labor she still had the energy and drive to sacrifice her body for Liam.” We can only imagine how tough it was for Kirlyam, especially given the difference in stature between herself and her husband. (Not every big baby becomes a tall adult, but there’s something to be said for the effort of pushing a very tall man’s baby out of a very small woman’s uterus) Alan Cox continued: “I will forever be grateful and love this woman for all time and eternity. @kirlyam_ thank you” These two are so sweet with each other. That tribute is even more precious than Alan’s glowing face as he shopped for baby clothes during the summer. And to think that mere days before, the two had been throwing up their hands and wondering when Liam, due in September, would ever enter the world! Kirlyam made her own, much more succinct post. Again, her baby was born less than a week ago, and if we’d just pushed for 20 hours, you wouldn’t catch us so much as tapping “like” on Instagram. “Welcome to the world Liam. We love you so very much!!!!” She included some blue hearts and, of course, a Portuguese translation. The next time that 90 Day Fiance makes you feel cynical about relationships, about marriage, and about the show itself, maybe think of this growing family. Time has not been kind to Nelly. And, if we’re to believe recent accusations against him, Nelly has not been kind to others in return. Early yesterday morning, he was arrested for allegedly raping a woman on his tour bus . He’s currently on tour with Florida Georgia Line, and the arrest happened a few hours after a show in Washington on Friday night. According to a statement from local police, a woman called 911 at nearly 4:00 AM and reported that Nelly had sexually assaulted her. After officers arrived on the scene and did some investigating, there was apparently enough evidence to make an arrest, and Nelly was taken into custody. There wasn’t enough evidence to hold him though, and a few hours later he was released. His lawyer then made a statement saying that “Nelly is the victim of a completely fabricated allegation.” “Our initial investigation,” he explained, “clearly establishes the allegation is devoid of credibility and is motivated by greed and vindictiveness.” “I am confident, once the scurrilous accusation is thoroughly investigated, there will be no charges.” The lawyer added that “Nelly is prepared to pursue all legal avenues to redress any damage caused by this clearly false allegation.” So far it’s obviously a pretty serious case of he-said, she-said, right? But now Nelly is speaking on his own behalf. Shortly after the news broke of his arrest, he hopped on Twitter to defend himself. “Let me say that I am beyond shocked that I have been targeted with this false allegation,” he began. “I am completely innocent.” “I am confident that once the facts are looked at, it will be very clear that I am the victim of a false allegation.” “I do want to apologize to my loved ones for the embarrassment and for putting myself in a situation where I could be victimized by this false and defaming allegation,” he wrote. Nelly also thought it was important “to thank my fans for their unwavering support.” “They know me,” he said. “I assure you I will be vindicated. And I assure you, I will pursue every legal option to address this defaming claim.” “Thank you.” And just in case you didn’t follow that statement his lawyer wrote for him, he added “In other words y’all know damm well I ain’t do no dumm S^*t like this..!! Love ..!!!!” About an hour after making those tweets, he logged back on to clear up an extra bit of confusion. “To be absolutely clear,” he wrote, “I have not been charged with a crime therefore no bail was required. I was released, pending further investigation.” At this point, it’s hard to say who’s telling the truth. Nelly and his team could be right, this woman could have made up this whole story. But then again, Nelly could be doing his best to cover up his crimes — let’s be real, it’s not exactly unprecedented for a celebrity to use his fame as a way to prey on women like this. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see how this plays out. View Slideshow: 21 Most Memorable Celebrity Mug Shots of All-Time
As documented below, celebrities from all industries have issued statements of shock and sorrow on social media in light of Sunday night’s shooting in Las Vegas . But we feel as though Ariana Grande deserves to be singled out for a moment. Tragically, the young singer is all too familiar with the sort massacre that took place in Nevada over the weekend, as over 20 concert goers were killed in Manchester this spring toward the end of a Grande performance. Clearly (and understandably) VERY shaken by that incident, the artist penned an open letter shortly after the terrorist act that reads as follows: “I am sorry for the pain and fear that you must be feeling and for the trauma that you, too, must be experiencing. “We will never be able to understand why events like this take place because it is not in our nature, which is why we shouldn’t recoil. We will not quit or operate in fear. “We won’t let this divide us. We won’t let hate win.” Sadly, Grande has now been forced to share a similar statement, after a 64-year old named Stephen Paddock opened fire in Las Vegas on fans at a country music festival. At the latest count, Paddock killed 58 people and injured over 500 others. After committing the deadliest mass shooting in American history, he then took his own life. View Slideshow: Las Vegas Shooting: Celebrities React to Terrorist Attack On Monday, Grande responded to this Las Vegas shooting with grief and with emotion, but also with a call for action. “My heart is breaking for Las Vegas,” she tweeted. “We need love, unity, peace, gun control & for people to look at this & call this what it is = terrorism.” Amen, right? Grande’s manager Scooter Braun also penned a lengthy message to his followers, reflecting on the attack in Vegas while referencing his own memories from Manchester. “I don’t really have words this morning. I am deeply saddened. And as horrifying as it is to say I can’t tell you I’m surprised,” he wrote, adding: “Our greatest challenges are ahead of us. What took place in Las Vegas last night should never happen. What took place in Manchester should never happen. What took place in Charlottesville should never happen. “But they are happening. And ALL of them are terrorist attacks.” Concluded Braun: They all strike fear in our ability to live our lives .They all make us question taking our children, our friends our loved ones to public events that are supposed to bring us joy…in fear of devastation. They are all attacks on our way of life and our way of love. So first let me say my heart breaks for all those affected in Las Vegas. Nothing we do can bring back your loved ones and I am so sorry. For those in the hospital recovering we are with you. Keep fighting. And for all of us..who are we? What will we choose to do in response? Will we just Instagram and move on? Will we think this is about a hashtag with the word #vegas in it? Or will we wait until the next one affects us? THIS One affects us. #LASVEGAS is ALL of us. View Slideshow: Real Housewives Stars React to Las Vegas Shootings We owe them courage. We owe them our faith. At the end of the One Manchester show…only 2 weeks after the attack and less than 24 hours since the London attack…when the cameras were off…the crowd of 55,000 brave souls started to sing. The echoed the words ‘Manchester we’re strong, we’re strong, we’re strong. We’ll keep singing our songs, our songs our songs.’ This repeated for 15 minutes as they exited.
