Brian Ach/Getty Images LeBron Was The Last Model In KITH’s NYFW Show LeBron James has been teasing his upcoming collaboration with KITH and their founder Ronnie Fieg for a while now–and this is just the latest on their work together. Though these sneakers aren’t KITH-related, the debut of his new LeBron 15s has everybody talking. Fellow baller fashion killas Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony were in the building for NYFW as well and showed love to Bron after his runway performance. After the debut of the bright floral colorway for his new LeBron 15s, he also took to Instagram to snap a picture of another “ghost” version that will be coming out in the near future as well.

Since I have virtually all the music that Diana Krall has ever recorded; she has international reputation as a singer and a personality. She started a couple of times, she is an incredibly interesting artist to watch perform live as it feels as though she has a personal connection with both her piano and the songs in which she plays. Last week, the music world was shocked by the news that beloved Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington had passed away at the age of 41. Shortly thereafter, investigators confirmed Bennington’s cause of death . Perhaps mimicking the recent suicide of his friend Chris Cornell , Bennington had hung himself in his Los Angeles home, where his body was discovered by a housekeeper. He died on what would have been Cornell’s 53rd birthday. Hundreds of thousands have paid tribute to Bennington online, including many of the famous friends he made over the course of his 17-year music career. Today, the singer’s grief-stricken widow made her first public statement since Bennington’s passing. Her words reflect not only her own heartbreak, but also the grief endured by those who knew Bennington best, including his six children. “One week ago, I lost my soulmate and my children lost their hero – their Daddy,” Talinda Bennington wrote. “We had a fairytale life and now it has turned into some sick Shakespearean tragedy.” Talinda went on to say that she hopes her love for her children will sustain her through this incredibly difficult time. She also reminded fans that their words of support are deeply appreciated. “How do I move on? How do I pick up my shattered soul? The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left,” Talinda stated. “I want to let my community and the fans worldwide know that we feel your love. We feel your loss as well. My babies are so young to have lost their daddy. And I know that all of you will help keep his memory alive.” She concluded with a tribute to her departed husband that’s sure to leave many fans in tears. “He was a bright, loving soul with an angel’s voice,” Talida wrote. “And now he is pain-free singing his songs in all of our hearts. May God bless us all and help us turn to one another when we are in pain. Chester would’ve wanted us to do so. Rest In Peace, my love.” Bennington’s family members have stated that while they appreciate the well-wishes from fans, they plan to lay the singer to rest in a private ceremony. Getty Image Black College Grad On Greek Vacation Beaten To Death Over Bar Dispute SMH. A 22-year-old University of Arizona student was reportedly beaten to death outside a bar by a dozen peole while on vacation on a Greek island. ABC Reports say Austin Native Bakari Henderson had gotten into an argument with a bouncer inside the bar and things escalted. More people joined in, beating the young man unconscious. Greek Police have arrested a 34-year-old Greek man and a 32-year-old British man of Serbian origin, on murder charges, according to New York Daily News.
Image via Chelsea Lauren/Getty Nelsan Ellis Of True Blood Fame Dead At 39 Sad news breaking just now, Nelsan Ellis of the long-running hit HBO show True Blood, has died at the far-too-young age of 39 according to The Hollywood Reporter . His manager, Emily Gerson Saines, tells THR: “Nelsan has passed away after complications with heart failure,” Saines said. “He was a great talent, and his words and presence will be forever missed.” Says HBO: “We were extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Nelsan Ellis,” HBO said in a statement. “Nelsan was a long-time member of the HBO family whose groundbreaking portrayal of Lafayette will be remembered fondly within the overall legacy of True Blood. Nelsan will be dearly missed by his fans and all of us at HBO.” True Blood creator Alan Ball: “Nelsan was a singular talent whose creativity never ceased to amaze me. Working with him was a privilege.” Our sincerest thoughts and prayers go out to Nelsan’s family.
Just yesterday, we learned that Javi Marroquin is dating Lauren Comeau , a Maine native and South Carolina resident whom he reportedly met through a mutual friend. It seems as though the relationship is in its early days, but it also seems that both parties are very, very into it. Javi gushed about Lauren in a recent interview with Radar Online, and now she’s following suit. Lauren spoke to the site today, and while she appears to be just as giddy as Javi, she’s also not in denial about the unique difficulties of their relationship. Comeau seems to have no plans of leaving South Carolina, and with a young son and a cushy reality TV gig, we doubt Javi will be moving relocating outside of Delaware any time soon. That means that in addition to the challenges of Javi being a reality star with an even more famous ex, Marroquin and Comeau are dealing with the difficulties presented by a long term relationship. “Distance isn’t ever easy,” Comeau told Radar. “But we have a lot planned and busy schedules in between so I think we’ll handle it well.” Comeau also opened up about the unusual way in which she and Javi met. It seems a mutual friend introduced them online and they communicated for several weeks before meeting in person at a recent wedding. “We connected through a mutual friend in Delaware and finally got to meet at a recent wedding,” she said. “We clicked instantly, and just really enjoyed each other’s company. I’m excited to see what happens.” Javi seemed equally optimistic in his own interview: “This one feels right,” he told Radar. He recently posted a photo of himself with Comeau, along with the following caption: “Sometimes I wish I can go back in life, not to change sh-t just to feel a couple things twice.” Both parties say they’d like to “take things slow,” but we think their actions are speaking louder than their words. Remember Justin Bieber’s DUI arrest in Miami from a while back? Justin sure wants you to remember. He’s shared a throwback photo of his own mugshot, and his captions are fine on the surface, but might indicate an internal struggle. His mugshot also reminds us that, for all his faults, Justin takes really good mugshots. Over the years, Justin Bieber’s bad behavior hasn’t been a secret … at all. Like, we’re sure that there’s stuff that we haven’t heard about. But there’s also stuff like Justin egging his neighbors house . And, of course, the drunk driving (and drag racing!) in Florida that led to his arrest. Honestly, some of his antics came across like the stereotypical “bad kid” from any and every generic animated drama from the last two decades. But Justin’s shared this throwback photo of his own mugshot, and it’s apparently not to brag about how good he looked in it. (Though, let’s be honest, he looked great) He captioned the photo: “#jailisnotacoolplacetobe #notfun #neveragain” For those of you who don’t enjoy reading hashtags, that was: “Jail is not a cool place to be. Not fun. Never again.” For some reason, this feels like less of an after school special for his fans than a public statement about his own intentions. Like, a pledge to himself that he’s not going to repeat past mistakes. It makes us wonder if he’s been struggling with sobriety more than he’s let on. Justin’s mostly different now. These days, he’s more about his faith (like his parents, he’s a Christian, and pretty die-hard about it) and less about substance abuse. He might be leaning on his faith to stay sober, which can be tricky in the same way that staying sober for another person can be tricky, but that’s his business unless he starts doing crimes again. One of his many, many tattoos reads “Better at 70,” which seems to be a motto about becoming a better person throughout his life instead of just coasting along. Presumably, it also applies to his desire to remain in good legal standing. He put up a stencil of the tattoo on Instagram for fans to see if they wanted to also get the tattoo It’s not a great tattoo or even a great catchphrase, but you know that he still has some fans who are intense enough to get it. We don’t think that he’s necessarily conscious of the effect that his throwback photos can have. To him, they show only the consequences of his past bad behavior. To us, they’re a reminder that he’s recently seemed to just give up completely on having nice hair. Like, he’s had a few genuinely good hairstyles, including in that mugshot, and now he keep his head buzzed? There’s no personality there. Also his throwbacks remind us that his skin used to be more visible. It’s not that he doesn’t have the right to tattoo himself to his heart’s content, because he can decorate his meat prison however he likes. But … his tattoo choices tend to not be great. And we’re allowed to grimace at the photos. We’re also allowed to grimace at his captions about jail. Because some people might have been looking at an actual sentence for drag racing and a DUI. But Justin’s deal, if you’ll recall, involved him paying $50,000 (as a donation to a youth charity). In other words … he got out of prison time because he’s rich. Meanwhile, there are innocent people who can’t afford bail for crimes that they didn’t commit, so they spend months behind bars and eventually cop plea deals that admit guilt just so that they can see their families again. So, you know, maybe Justin shouldn’t be complaining about how little fun he had in jail. It can get so much worse than what little he experienced. Bachelor “Villain” Vienna Girardi isn’t just pregnant, though that would be news enough. She’s expecting twins . Vienna Girardi wasn’t just a contestant on Season 14 of The Bachelor — she won Jake Pavelka’s heart in the final episode. And then the two of them split . But you could argue that her real claim to fame was their interview about their breakup. She accused him of being a habitual liar and of saying truly nasty things to her after about the first month of their post- Bachelor relationship. Jake accused her of, basically, being nuts . And of cheating on him. And of selling their story — or her version of it — to the tabloids while they were still basically together. That last part, at least, is true. Honestly, neither of them came across in a flattering light in that interview. So it’s really for the best that they didn’t stick together. Vienna hasn’t been especially visible over the last few years, aside from a few relationships and a dramatic stint on a relationship rehab show . We all know that there are some reality personalities who refuse to vanish from headlines for even a moment. Vienna’s, for the most part, given the world some space. But she hasn’t disappeared altogether, either. Last October, she got engaged to race car driver Todd Allen. And now she’s pregnant — with twins, no less. A lot of parents would be freaking out at this point, but Vienna seems to be all kinds of enthused. “Twice the blessing, twice the fun,” is written on the picture of her ultrasound. That’s a good attitude to have, because having twins also means more than twice the work, twice the chaos. And let’s not even get into the diaper business. Of course, she’ll only be adding to the legions of babies produced by the many, many contestants who’ve appeared on The Bachelor and Bachelor -related properties over the years. But she certainly made an impression. What remains to be seen is how much growth she’s had since she was the whiny and emotional trainwreck we all knew and tolerated. Sometimes the qualities that make for a good reality star are the exact opposites of what make someone a good mother. But you know, even based solely on the fact that she hasn’t been desperately throwing herself into the spotlight, we’re feeling a little optimistic. Plus, sometimes having kids can really change people. Even in ways that no one expects. One day, these kids are going to be old enough to realize who their mom is and to look up her reality TV shenanigans. That’ll be interesting, to say the least. Courtney Stodden’s not exactly shy about her looks or her politics. And now she’s stunning followers with a makeup-free photo … and some very pleasant glimpses at her spectacular body. And her caption has something of a political twist. So, remember that Baywatch movie? Everybody watched the Baywatch trailer , at least, for obvious thirst reasons. Well, thirst alone wasn’t enough to keep the film from flopping at the box office. Courtney’s smoldering hot red swimsuit photo isn’t just visually reminiscent of Baywatch — she mentions the series by name. Her caption, “Make Baywatch Great Again,” is an obvious nod both to the film’s unenthusiastic reception and to the campaign slogan of a certain orange politician. Some people might be surprised to see a political reference in Courtney’s caption, but they shouldn’t be. Remember, she was a supporter of Bernie Sanders and then Hillary Clinton in 2016. And Courtney Stodden got political again just recently. Trump’s campaign slogan is as easy to parody as it is perplexing — since, you know, America was already pretty great. In fact, you tended to kind of get the impression that “great” was just a euphemism for “white.” But we can be sure that Courtney truly means great. And sexy. And fun. And kind. That’s kind of her brand. What’s more is that posing without makeup is almost inherently political. Women are constantly policed for their appearances. Going without makeup can get women asked if they’re “sick” or “tired” by clueless men who are used to seeing their faces look different. And who have no idea how much work so many women put into their looks, every single day. It’s worth noting that society tends to find men plenty attractive without any makeup, yet has high standard’s for a woman’s appearance — that she should have a “natural look” but obviously hide any perceived imperfections. In other words, women are expected to wear just enough makeup to be pleasing to the eye, but to not have fun with it. Ultimately, personal makeup choices should always be personal — to benefit no one but the makeup wearer themselves. But photos like this of Courtney’s send a powerful message that going without makeup can be wildly sexy. Obviously. But our biggest takeaway from all of this was just that we would 100% be down to watch a Courtney Stodden Baywatch movie. There are plenty of sexy actors and actresses who can go play around in the ocean, but it’s pretty tough to find someone as endearing as Courtney. What a doll.
