Throughout the initial first half of the film, the women are humiliated, tortured, and raped, subject to all sorts of horrible acts at the hands of a horrible doctor and governor who write off the subsequent deaths as “natural causes.” An inmate named Jennifer ( Yvette Yzon ) organizes an escape, and once the women make it past the prison gates, they experience a whole new slew of torture, but this time, the gore is magnified and the death toll rises as women are killed off in horrible ways. Granted, considering all the publicity Lamar Odom’s health situation has garnered and how well-documented it has been that Khloe refuses to leave his side, Harden likely knew where things stood before Khloe even contacted him. But still. Harden and Kardashian dated for many months. You would think he’d deserve a little more respect. “He can’t stop shaking his head. It’s very comical [to him],” the source says, adding that Harden didn’t respond to Khloe’s text and that he thinks it’s all some “high school s–t happening to him.” Fortunately for James, the NBA season starts up next week and his team is one of the favorites to win the title. So he has actual rebounding to focus on for a few months as opposed to concerns of being someone else’s romantic rebound.
I pride myself on staying up-to-date on all the latest professional Instagram hotties. So I was surprised I’d never heard of this Shea Marie before, since apparently she’s a huge “Instagram star” and some kind of Instagram fashion blogger. So in other words, she got on the site early, got a huge following because it was easy to do back when they first started, because their algorithm was designed to make Insta-stars. It really is happening, people. We really will learn what those final four words were. Netflix has confirmed that it has finalized a deal with Warner Bros., creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino to bring back Gilmore Girls for a special limited series event. No original cast members have signed on the dotted line just yet, but sources tell TV Line that key players Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson are almost assuredly on board. The revival will reportedly consist of four 90-minute episodes/mini-movies/whatever-you-want-to-call-them-but-the-point-is-that-Gilmore-Girls-is-on-the-way-back. Over the summer, Sherman-Palladino certainly sounded open to an arrangement such as this at the ATX TV Festival. “It would have to be the right everything – the right format, the right timing,” she said. “If it ever happened, I promise we’ll do it correctly. We believe you, Amy. And we can’t believe we’re going to get the chance to find out for real! Gilmore Girls premiered on The WB network in 2000, before transferring to The CW in 2006 for its final season. What’s past is prologue. So William Shakespeare wrote in The Tempest. If this is the case, however, the past for Klaus Mikaelson may be the prologue to a very dangerous future, based on The Originals Season 3 Episode 1 at least. After closing one chapter in May, this CW drama opened up a brand new one on Thursday night. Yes, there were still loose ends to tie up from Season 2, namely the fact that Davina is Queen Regent (and having her power challenged by older queens in the Quarter) and also that Hayley is once again under the werewolf curse. The latter proved to be a problem after a company named Kingmakers Inc. bought up all the land in the bayou and hired independent contractors to kill as many wolves as they could find. Once Elijah came across these contractors, he dispatched of them in classic Elijah fashion. But he also found a truckload of dead wolves and wondered if one of them is Hayley. We know it is not because Davina used some kind of spell to summon Hayley and tell her she must do something for her because she can see her daughter. Elsewhere, we met a detective named Will Kinney who sometimes uses Vincent to help with cases that appear supernatural. He also called on Cami (who has been serving as Klaus’ actual psychologist) during the premiere to figure out what’s going on with victims that appears to have been killed by a vampire. But this was the meant of The Originals Season 3 Episode 1: Via flashback, we see that the Mikaelsons (Finn, Kol, Elijah, Klaus and Claire Holt as Rebekah) decide to go undercover as a royal type of family in order to live a “normal” life soon after they are turned. They keep an underling named Lucien alive in order to help them with this guise and he proves to be very useful in offering the family advice on how to lie and how to live in an upper class society. Fast forward many centuries and Lucien shows up in New Orleans. It’s clear right away that he’s a vampire and that Klaus turned him. He warns Klaus that vampires around the world are feuding and they’ve realized that the best way to do away with their rivals is by killing the Original that sired them… because this would take down the entire line. He also hints that there’s some White Oak remaining. After using his psychic to prove his point that trouble is ahead, Lucien claims to be on Klaus’ side. His life is tied to Klaus, after all. But we close the episode by seeing that Lucian is behind Kingmakers Inc. We also cut to a scene in some distant land, where a woman is so disturbed by the news she receives in a letter that she kills the servant who brought it to her. This woman is named Aurora. We met her in the flashback when Klaus and company were undercover, with Lucien saying she a beauty they should stay away from. So, in other words… WTF?!? It’s safe to say we’ll learn a lot more about Aurora and Lucien and this pending danger on The Originals Season 3 Episode 2 . And it’s VERY safe to say we’ll be tuning in to see where this new storyline goes from here. Will you?!?

The Side Eye: Presidential Candidate Jeb Bush on Gun Violence “Stuff Happens” You’d think a presidential candidate would be a little more careful with his words, but not Republican candidate Jeb Bush. As he spoke on the deadly shooting in Oregon that killed 9 people and wounding 7 others, he described the tragic incident as “heartbreaking”. Just there after though, he made a jaw dropping comment, minimizing gun violence to “stuff happens…” He adds, “theres always a crisis and the impulse is always to do something and it’s not always the right thing to do” — in regards resorting to more strict gun laws. Considering gun violence is a common occurrence you’d think he’d find it a topic of importance but apparently not. Will you be voting for Mr. Bush?? Watch the clip from CNN and decide for yourself.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Kendall Jenner just as much as the next pervert with Internet access, but I’m sorry, I just don’t see how you can put her in the same conversation as real supermodels like Joan Smalls and Lily Donaldson here. Viola Davis Responds To Soap Star’s Criticism Of Her Emmy Speech Last week, a random actress from “General Hospital” got a little salty about Viola Davis’ Emmy speech focusing on opportunity for Black actresses and decided to fire off a series of equally salty, semi-racist tweets dismissing her passion and emotion over her accomplishment. Ever the class act, Viola just essentially “read” old Nancy without even bothering to address the actress or her privileged-azz tweets directly. As Viola shared via the New York Times : “If there has been any backlash, it’s that all people want to feel included in a speech. I know there has been some backlash with an actress who didn’t feel she was included.” When asked if she was speaking specifically about Soap Opera Actress Nancy Grahn, Viola simply responded: “Yes, I don’t know that I want to say more about that.” Welp — too damn bad for Nancy. She’s got to realize that she didn’t have any reason to be included in Viola’s or any other Black actresses’ triumphant moment from that night. However, Viola also pointed out that the response to her speech has been overwhelmingly positive, and she’s glad she was able to inspire others with her words: I feel like I’ve gotten a really huge response that kind of surpassed the award. Just people admiring my speech makes me feel really good. I remember Meryl Streep told me once, “You know, Viola, these young girls are always listening to us — every word we say is hitting them in a way that you can’t even imagine.” And that’s what I’ve found to be very true.
