WENN Singer Apparently Evading Warrant For Allegedly Sexually Violating Woman He is wanted on charges that he raped a woman in Georgia earlier this month. But it appears that singer Bobby V. is taking his sweet time when it comes to turning himself in for the shocking alleged crime, BOSSIP has learned. Bobby V. – who was born Bobby Wilson – is wanted in Cobb County, Ga. for rape after an unnamed woman filed a police report March 19, alleging that the artist raped her the day before. However, nearly two weeks later, the “Slow Down” singer has yet to clear things up with local law enforcement, who told BOSSIP that as of Wednesday, Bobby still hadn’t turned himself in, and was not in custody. Bobby’s rep has denied the rape complaint and said the alleged victim is motivated by money. Meanwhile, the former “Mista” member seems to be hiding in plain sight and living a normal life in his native Georgia. One witness told BOSSIP they spotted the singer working out at an Atlanta-area gym.
Academy Award-nominated costume designer Ruth E. Carter, who recently worked on “Black Panther,” shares inspiring stories with high school students Saturday, March 10, 2018, during a panel discussion of Disney Dreamers Academy with Steve Harvey and ESSENCE Magazine at Epcot in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The 11th annual Disney Dreamers Academy, taking place March 8-11, 2018 is a career-inspiration program for distinguished high school students from across the U.S. (Todd Anderson, photographer) “Black Panther’s” Ruth Carter Spoke About Her Process To Kids At The Disney Dreamer’s Academy She’s the biggest star of “Black Panther” that you’ve probably never heard of. Ruth Carter is the woman behind the intricate Africana-inspired attire that adorns the cast of black blockbuster “Black Panther.” The veteran costume designer – behind such films as “Selma” and “School Daze” – has spoken about how she infused the costumes with both black pride and Afro-futurism. “‘Black Panther’ was an opportunity for us to bring African culture to the foreground,” Carter told high school students last weekend at the Disney Dreamer’s Academy at Walt Disney World , hosted by Steve Harvey and Essence Magazine. “The first part of my journey is to research and understand the culture, because Afro-futurism is culture.” Carter said she travelled around Africa for inspiration for her designs for the film. Carter said she wanted the movie’s clothes to help African-American viewers identify with their origins in the motherland. “The Black Panther suit itself, it has these triangular patterns on the suit – I call it the Okobongo pattern – because I wanted the Black Panther to not only be a superhero, I wanted him to be an African king,” Carter explained. “So when he’s walking around, and having conversations without his helmet on, you could see the patterns and feel it’s from Africa.” Carter said she was initially intimidated by the “Black Panther” opportunity, but said she was thrilled that she took it any way, and was able to add her own personal touch to what has become of one the biggest blockbusters in movie history. “So going into Marvel, and being really intimidated because I’m at Marvel Studios, and because they have the smartest people with the best ideas…I actually brought something to the table. So now that it’s all out, I feel fantastic because I was part of it, and I contributed to it, and I got over my fears.”

Reality Starlet Known For Her Phrase “B**ch I’m A Millionaire!” Confirmed Season Two Of LHH Miami Is In The Works “Love & Hip Hop: Miami’s” Jojo Zarur wants you to know that there’s more to her than just drama and hanging with celebrities. Jojo said she decied to join the reality show’s newest franchise in part to help launch her business and to show more of her persona instead of what people see on social media. “I think people have this crazy idea of me as a person,” Jojo told BOSSIP. “I wanted to show them that just because I have money, doesn’t mean I’m perfect. I wanted to show the other types of problems people have to deal with.” Instead, the celebrity stylist said her storyline veered more towards her parents bitter divorce and her beef with co-star Veronica Vega – who she infamously told, “B**ch, I’m a millionaire!” “I hate that they didn’t go in depth into what I do,” Jojo said. “They focused more on my drama. I was definitely upset that they really didn’t touch that. But there were too many people (in the cast), too many stories.” However Jojo insisted that she had no regrets in participating, and confirmed to BOSSIP that she’s set to start filming season two in May. “I’ll probably have some new beef, and new friendships too,” she said. “Me and Bobby got really close.” Jojo also promised fireworks in both “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” reunion shows. She said you’ll see her face off with Vega, Young Hollywood and Steph Lecor. She said her parents will also be making an appearance, and it’ll be the first time they saw each other since their bitter split. “It really was insane,” Jojo said. “You’re gonna see everybody really dealing with each other. You’re gonna see people physically get next to each other. I think it’s gonna be one of the craziest reunions they’ve shot.” Continue reading →

Everyone already knows that texting and driving can be deadly but, what about walking and texting? A new report is proving that texting and walking are causing an average of 6,000 deaths a year, a much higher number than 10 years ago. A Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) report released Wednesday showing the number of pedestrian deaths in the U.S. reached nearly 6,000, having risen 27 percent between 2007 and 2016. While all other traffic deaths have decreased over the past decade, pedestrian fatalities have increased 27% since 2007. (Photo by Prince Williams/WireImage) Tiny & T.I. Off & On After 2016 Divorce Filing They’ve seem to be getting along lately and co-parenting their their young children. But Tameka “Tiny” Cottle-Harris may have given her clearest indication yet that she’s done with estranged husband T.I., BOSSIP can reveal. The Xscap3 singer filed docs in January to get more time to pay off the $1 million mortgage that she took out when she moved out of the family home during height of the pair’s problems in 2014. Tiny was supposed to pay off the $1,003,700 mortgage by April 2016, and she signed another deal with the mortgage company to extend the due date to the end of this year, according to the security deed, which was obtained by BOSSIP. Tiny bought the property in 2014 for $1,481,500, and it boasts six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, six fire places and an “exquisite” wine cellar in 7,817 square feet of living space, according to tax records and a real estate listing. Tiny’s money moves means she likely plans to stay in the home, and isn’t interested in selling up and moving back home to T.I. And although their reality show, “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” was cancelled after six seasons, the singer is pulling the dough from her tour with Excape and their new group Xscap3.

Getty Jill Scott & Mike Dobson Splitting Following 15 Months Of Marriage Singer Jill Scott’s estranged ex snagged a victory in divorce court Thursday. A judge granted Mike Dobson’s request for a restraining order against Scott that bars her from trash talking him to her friends, the press and on social media. Dobson filed a motion for a restraining order against the “Golden” singer last month after accusing her of airing their dirty laundry on social media and outright lying to family members and others about his sexual orientation and being a a con artist. Dobson said in court papers that Scott had been posting subliminal messages on Facebook related to their split, including sharing and liking a video about having one life to live, and another video with the words “Now here’s a man who understands women.” The judge apparently sided with the City of Atlanta employee, and granted the order, according to public records. Scott already has her own restraining order against Dobson in place – meaning both are now under a court order not to harass each other. Scott filed for divorce last September, citing irreconcilable differences and “inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper.” Dobson countersued Scott earlier this month, accusing her of bullying him throughout their marriage and coercing him into signing a bad prenup agreement. Dobson asked for half the marital assets, along with $500,000 for the pain and suffering he allegedly endured.
Freeky Zekey Says Booking Dispute Was A Misunderstanding; Says He Respects Women “Dip Set’s” Freeky Zekey has hit back at a nonprofit head’s claims that he defrauded her for an appearance fee at her charity gala and then threatened her mother for the rest of the dough. Freeky Zekey said the fallout from his appearance at the “Sisters In Charge” masquerade gala last year had been a misunderstanding and said his accuser had been less than professional in her dealings with him. Earlier this week, we revealed Tamara Charles’ claims that Freeky Zekey reneged on their verbal agreement for him to Zeke to co-host her “Sisters In Charge” gala Oct. 14 and perform. Charles said she sent Zekey a $1,600 deposit to secure the deal. But instead, Charles said Zekey arrived 15 minutes before the event ended, underdressed and seemingly intoxicated. She said he hyped the crowd for a few minutes before taking pictures and speaking to “Love & Hip Hop’s” Juju, who was also a special guest. Charles said he still demanded the rest of his booking fee and threatened her and her mother until they came up with the rest. Charles also said Freeky Zekey stole her phone out of her hand, and when she got it back weeks later, it had been reset. But Zekey – whose real name is Ezekiel Giles – wants to tell his side of the story: According to his rep, Zeke acknowledged that he was late to the gala, but was under the impression that the night ended at 1 a.m., not 11 p.m. He said that most artists do not arrive at the beginning of an event, and once he got there was another performer on stage, so he waited his turn. Zekey contends that he got on stage, performed and also made a speech about the importance of domestic violence prevention. He said he asked Charles for the rest of his money – another $1,600 – but Charles said to wait until the end of the night. Zekey said it’s customary to get paid before the artist takes the stage. He said he asked her again a short time later, and she asked him to go outside with her, his rep said. He said Charles handed him an envelope, but it was less than the $1,600. He said by that time, her friends and family came outside, and her mother volunteered to give him the remaining balance. He then followed the mom in his car to a house and then to an ATM. When the mom gave him the additional money, he got on his knees and thanked her. Freeky’s rep showed BOSSIP video and photos of the rapper/hype man performing at the gala – proof that Zekey said he provided to Pay Pal, which is why he was able to keep the initial deposit. He said Charles disputed his fee with Pay Pal some two months after the event. The rapper also denied snatching Charles’ phone. He said her phone was among several phones that were on a table, and he believed it was his. His rep said he mailed the phone back to their mutual friend the following day. “Freekey Zekey has a deep respect for women, having close relationships with his fiance, aunts, nieces, etc…And he finds these accusations deeply upsetting,” his rep told BOSSIP in a statement. “He denies her accusations wholeheartedly.”
HOLLYWOOD, CA – SEPTEMBER 21: (L-R) Jennifer Williams and Tim Norman at Lucky Strike Bowling Alley on September 21, 2017 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Thaddaeus McAdams/FilmMagic) “Basketball Wives” Star Seeking Permanent Restraining Order Against James “Tim” Norman “Basketball Wives” Jennifer Williams said she’s not the only woman who has been subjected to her now ex-boyfriend James “Tim” Norman’s alleged violent behavior. The reality star, 42, said in court papers that shortly after she broke up with the “Welcome To Sweetie Pie’s” star, a woman contacted her on Instagram who said that she also used to date Norman and that he brutalized her and then stole her car when they broke up, according to court papers obtained by BOSSIP. Williams said the unnamed woman contacted her last month and told her that Norman had also stalked and harassed her and that there was a police report to back up the woman’s claims. “She stated that after she broke up with Mr. Norman, he stole her new car and admitted to doing so,” Williams wrote in court papers. “She says he stalked her long after they broke up. He has taken her on a trip to Los Angeles in 2014 where he physically abused and hit her.” Norman got a temporary restraining order against Williams earlier this month after he said he believed Williams slashed his car tires. But Williams said in court papers that she never messed with Norman’s car, and it was he who was stalking and harassing her and her friends and leaking intimate pictures and messages to the media. Williams detailed incidents where she said an enraged Norman threatened to jump men who he thought flirted with her, including one time where she said Norman nearly flipped a table at a taco joint in front of horrified onlookers. Williams, who is being repped by Joseph Koenig – who is well known for getting a restraining order for Amber Heard during her divorce from Johnny Depp – said she doesn’t know what Norman is capable of and is in fear for her life. “All this weird and scary behavior is very disturbing to me and I simply want Mr. Norman to leave me alone and cease contacting me forever,” Williams said, according to court docs. Norman has also asked the judge to make his temporary restraining order against her permanent, and the exes are due back in court next month, where a judge will rule on their dueling restraining orders. We’ve reached out to Norman for comment. Continue reading →
