Image via Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic/Getty Kylie Jenner Fans Thought Travis Scott Was Proposing Travis Scott appears to treat Kylie Jenner pretty well from what we can see, but her fans are seemingly obsessed with the idea of Cactus Jack asking for young billionaire’s hand in marriage (does he have to ask Caitlyn first out of respect? #QTNA). According to TMZ , fans went full-on Michael Scott “It’s happening!” meme when Kylie posted a video of hundreds of bouquets of roses that had been delivered to her house. Sadly, it was NOT a marriage proposal. Travis was simply congratulating his baby mama on of her lil’ makeup collab with ULTA. Nothing more, nothing less. Everybody relax.

Gone For Good: Jimmy Henchman Gets Two Life Sentences For The Murder Of 50 Cent Affiliate Lodi Mack

Photo by Johnny Nunez/WireImage Jimmy Henchman Charged With 2 Life Sentences In Lodi Mack Murder There’s no doubt about it, Jimmy Henchman is going to jail for life. A Manhattan judge offered absolutely no mercy to former hip-hop boss Jimmy Henchman in court this week. Henchman was sentenced to two life prison sentences for the murder Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher. Back in 2007, Lodi Mack, with the help of Tony Yayo, roughed up Jimmy’s 14-year-old son, which happened during a time where a deadly feud between Game and G-Unit was bubbling. At the time, the assault made headlines and even drew protests and condemnation from the likes of Al Sharpton and the National Action Network. Both Tony Yayo and Lodi Mack were eventually convicted of the attack. Lodi Mack  went to jail for the incident, while Tony Yayo received just 10 days of community service. Prosecutors say that Lodi Mack was later shot and killed in the Bronx–on Jimmy’s order–in September of 2009, just weeks after he was released from prison. Jimmy was accused of giving two kilos of cocaine to men in his drug dealing organization, in exchange for the murder of Lodi Mack. Years later in 2014, Jimmy’s trial for the murder resulted in a hung jury. Though Henchman was found guilty of the murders later that year, the verdict was overturned in 2016 after an appeals court ruled that the judge overseeing the trial was wrong for limiting a line of questioning to Brian McCleod. Jimmy was ultimately convicted of Lodi Mack’s murder in November of 2017. The case finally came to a close just this week, with Jimmy’s formal sentence of two life sentences. Authorities convicted him of running a $10-million-dollar a year drug enterprise known as the “Rosemond Organization.” Jimmy apologized to his friends and family for the situation, but he adamantly denied taking part and in a conspiracy to murder Lodi Mack almost a decade ago. “This is America! I want to apologize to my family and my support system,” Jimmy Henchman said in a statement to AllHipHop . “Most importantly, to my son; When I asked you to intern as a 14 yr old at my office it was because I wanted you to see your father working and have a strong role model. Henchman continued, “I wanted you to look up to brown and black people in boardrooms rather than in the streets. I was proud of the work I was doing. I never thought when I sent you on that errand, you would be surrounded and assaulted by 50 Cent and four G-Unit grown men with guns for wearing a T-shirt.”

In an upcoming interview with ABC’s Good Morning   Robin Roberts , she opens about her past fertility issues and a devastating miscarriage she experienced 20 years ago. “I felt lost and alone and I felt like I failed, because I didn’t know how common miscarriages were because we don’t talk about them,” Obama, 54, said. “We sit in our own pain, thinking that somehow we’re broken,” adding, “So, that’s one of the reasons why I think it’s important to talk to young mothers about the fact that miscarriages happen, and the biological clock is real.” Adding, “I think it’s the worst thing that we do to each other as women, not share the truth about our bodies and how they work, and how they don’t work.” This is the first time Mrs. Obama has publicly spoken about her fertility issues. . @MichelleObama opens up to @RobinRoberts in revealing new interview; says she felt “lost and alone” after suffering miscarriage 20 years ago. When asked why she shared that part of her life with the public, Obama stressed that she wanted for people to understand the work that couples need to do in order to stay together. “For those young people out there who think that marriage is supposed to be easy. And marriage counseling for us was one of those ways that we learned to talk out our differences,” she said. “I want them to know that Michelle and Barack Obama who have a phenomenal marriage and who love each other, we work on our marriage, and we get help with our marriage when we need it.” In addition, she described falling in love with Mr Obama one summer night in Chicago. “As soon as I allowed myself to feel anything for Barack,” she writes, “the feelings came rushing – a toppling blast of lust, gratitude, fulfillment, wonder.” Swoon. Source: Mark Wilson / Getty Mrs. Obama also had some choice words about President Trump in her book, stressing that she will never forgive him for starting the Birther Movement, which questioned the citizenship of her husband, the first Black president of the United States. “The whole [birther] thing was crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed,” she wrote. “What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family’s safety at risk. And for this I’d never forgive him.” People took to Twitter to commend Michelle Obama for being so candid and open about her life. “One of the worst things we do as women is not share the truth about our bodies, and how they work.” I am so grateful Black women, like Michelle Obama and Serena Williams, are being so honest about the barriers many people face to become parents. https://t.co/0Co4bZ82Qa — Evette Dionne (@freeblackgirl) November 9, 2018 Michelle Obama. Journalist Kimberly Holmes Wiggins Turns Her Pain Into Power After Losing Her Husband

W hen Kimberly Holmes Wiggins met her husband Rasheed at Duke University years ago, she knew she had found her soulmate. She was drawn to his sensitive, caring, and unique soul. After the two attended a wedding where her sorority sister and his fraternity brother joined together in matrimony, Kimberly and Rasheed embarked on their own love journey and began dating. While maintaining a long-distance relationship while Kimberly furthered her journalism career in Washington, D.C. and Rasheed lived in North Carolina, the two established an unbreakable bond and tied the knot in 2011. Sadly, things took a tragic turn for the couple on a Spring evening in 2016. While returning from a quick store run, Rasheed lost his life after being struck by three cars at the intersection of Universal Boulevard and Destination Parkway, not too far from the couple’s Florida apartment. The first two drivers left the scene and are still at large. The third driver—who was driving a taxi—was the only one who stopped to help Wiggins. Kimberly became concerned when she couldn’t reach Rasheed and went out with their dog to go search for him only to come across a crime scene where her husband lay in the middle of the road. In just a short period of time, she found herself in the midst of a homicide investigation on an evening that was supposed to be a movie night for her and her husband. Her life was forever changed. “Every time we would leave each other we would kiss and hug goodbye but that night we didn’t because he was supposed to come right back. When you lose someone, who plays a significant role in your life it’s hard,” Kimberly told NewsOne as she recounted what happened that night. “The real pain sets in weeks, months, and years after that. Grief never goes away, and you just learn how to live with it. One thing that is really difficult when losing a spouse is that you lose the person who treated you special.” Mourning the loss of the love of her life has been an uphill battle for Kimberly, but she has decided to turn her pain into power and has led several efforts to create positive transformation in her life as well as the lives of others. In 2017, she launched the Rasheed A. Wiggins Entrepreneurial Prize at her and her husband’s alma mater Duke University. Rasheed who was a seasoned marketing professional was the co-founder of a digital advertising agency called AdRelief. Inspired by Rasheed’s entrepreneurial spirit, Kimberly and others who were close to Rasheed believed that the scholarship fund would keep his legacy alive by giving budding business owners the funds to launch their own ventures. The 2017 winner was a company called Flower Child Remedies which is a Black-owned natural hair product line. The winner of the 2018 prize has yet to be announced. Kimberly has also stepped into the realm of policy change and is fighting for a bill to be passed in Florida related to hit-and-runs. According to a study released by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, Florida is one of the top three states with the highest rates of fatal hit-and-run crashes. Under the bill, there would be an amber alert system put in place for hit-and-runs where people would be alerted about cars that left the scene. She also has launched a grief outreach organization called Still His where she provides support and sends gift boxes to widows across the country in an effort to help them heal. She also hosts several support brunches and dinners in the DMV area to cultivate a community of women who are struggling with the loss of their spouses and penned a book about how to cope with grief and support those who are grieving. Kimberly’s latest project is a 5K run in honor of Rasheed that is slated to take place on March 23; a day before what would have been his 42nd birthday. She’s thankful that she can use her platform to help those in need, especially women of color who lack resources when it comes to seeking help after experiencing loss. “It’s hard to come from a community that tells you to keep things bottled up. But we must confront our emotions to heal. I’m appreciative of being able to use my voice,” she said. “This was one of the most eye-opening experiences for me. When getting involved with these initiatives it was about putting one foot in front of the other and moving forward. I feel incredibly blessed because I was surrounded by so much love.” SEE ALSO: Rihanna And Colin Kaepernick To Reportedly Team Up For Social Justice Project Marshawn Lynch Launches Initiative To Provide The Homeless With Smartphones [ione_media_gallery src=”https://newsone.com” id=”3832050″ overlay=”true”]

Khloe Kardashian: FINALLY Ready to Dump Tristan Thompson?!

Another NBA season is upon us, which means Tristan Thompson will be spending much of the next several months traveling with the Cleveland Cavs.  And it seems Khloe Kardashian is not too keen on the idea of spending her winter wondering if her husband is sleeping around. As you’re no doubt aware, Tristan spent much of last season cheating on Khloe while she was pregnant with his child. Against all odds, the couple patched things up over the offseason, but it seems the peace they reached was tentative at best. Now, with Tristan returning his attention to basketball, it seems Khloe is harboring some serious doubts about the future of her relationship. “She very much seems over Tristan,” a source close to the situation tells People magazine. “Not sure how they went from fine to being apart for weeks, but Khloe is doing great.” The source adds that Khloe has not followed Tristan back to Cleveland, as was expected — but for the time being, everyone seems content with the current living situation: “It doesn’t seem to bother her that she isn’t with Tristan in Cleveland,” the insider says. “She seems to know what she wants in her life right now. And it definitely doesn’t seem like she wants to be with Tristan.” As for whether or not Khloe and Tristan have officially broken up , it seems the couple is remaining mum in the issue for now: “Khloe isn’t saying that she and Tristan split. It seems she hasn’t decided yet what she wants to do about their relationship,” the source tells People. “And she seems fine about this.” For months, we’ve been hearing reports of the Kardashians pressuring Khloe to dump Tristan , so it should come as no surprise that Kim and company are quite pleased by this development: “Her family is happy that she is still in L.A. and wants her around for as long as possible,” the insider says. “No one is pushing for her to go back to Cleveland to be with Tristan. This will be her decision to make.” But despite the dissolution of both her relationship and the dreams of a traditional nuclear family that have been with her since childhood, those her know her best say Khloe has never been happier: “It’s amazing to see what a great mom she is and how much she enjoys it,” says the insider. “She is very much just focused on the happy things in her life. True, of course, makes her the happiest.” Sounds like Khloe is once again focused on doing what’s best for her baby — and for herself. James Karen, Actor You Know From Everything, Dies at 94

James Karen, a veteran actor with an extensive big screen resume, passed away this week at his home in Florida, according to multuple outlets. He was 94 years old. Karen died with over 200 movies to his credit, but he’s probably best known for his role as the developer Mr. Teague in the modern horror classic Poltergeist. The long-time star also appeared in Return of the Living Dead, Invaders from Mars, China Syndrome, and Wall Street — among MANY other films. One of the best known character actors of all-time, Karen once joked that nobody knew his name, yet everybody knew his face because he “did so much damn work.” Actually, he may not have been joking about that. Mostly known for his work in the movie world, Karen also played a key part on the finale of Little House on the Prairie and he worked with director Oliver Stone on three occasions: 1. As Lynch, the office manager at Jackson Steinem, where Charlie Sheen’s stockbroker character works, in Wall Street. 2. As Secretary of State William Rogers in Nixon. 2. As a Miami Sharks executive in Any Given Sunday. Karen was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and served in the United States Air Force during World War II. Following a stint on Broadway, Karen moved to the land of television when he starred as Dr. Burke on As the World Turns and was the original Lincoln Tyler on All My Children. Along with starring in thousands of commercials, Karen also worked as the TV and radio spokesman (“Why pay more?”) for Pathmark, an East Coast supermarket chain that was liquidated in 2015. On the personal front: Karen was married to the late Susan Reed, the beloved folk singer and zither player, from 1958 until their divorce in 1967. The couple shared a son named Reed, whose godfather is the legendary Buster Keaton, a very close friend of Karen’s throughout his adult life. In the horror genre, other notable movies in which Karen played a part include: Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster, Poltergeist, Invaders from Mars, The Willies, The Unborn, Piranha, Apt Pupil and Mulholland Drive. And other television roles include: Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show, Dallas, The Golden Girls, L.A. Law, Murphy Brown and The Waltons. In the cult classic The Return of the Living Dead, Karen starred as the manager of a medical warehouse who inadvertently releases a gas that re-animates the dead. He said it was the most fun he ever had in making a movie, saying in 2006 that he had some say in how the character died: “It was the deal where he figures out he’s becoming a zombie and decides to incinerate himself in the crematorium. “He kisses his wedding ring as he goes in. It was a very emotional scene, but it also got me out of being one of the rain-drenched zombies milling around outside the place at the end of the film. “I didn’t really want to do all that muddy stuff.” The Hollywood Reporter first confirmed Karen’s death. May he rest in peace. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2018: In Memoriam

Sarah Silverman: I Let Louis C.K. Masturbate in Front of Me

Sorry, Sarah Silverman, but… … cum again? (Okay, truthfully, we’re sorry to our readers here.) The comedian has made some very gross headlines by appearing Monday morning on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show and speaking on her friendship with Louis C.K. Back in November, of course, C.K. was accused of five women of sexual misconduct. They all said that the famous stand-up jerked off in their presence , an allegation that C.K. later acknowledged as true . Talking to Stern, Silverman sort of defended her friend’s actions (or at least his mindset at the time of these actions) by telling a personal and disgusting story: “I don’t know if I’m going to regret saying this,” she said. “I’ve known Louis forever, I’m not making excuses for him, so please don’t take this that way. We are peers. We are equals. “When we were kids, and he asked if he could masturbate in front of me, sometimes I’d go, ‘F-c yeah I want to see that!’ … “It’s not analogous to the other women that are talking about what he did to them. He could offer me nothing. We were only just friends. “So sometimes, yeah, I wanted to see it, it was amazing. Sometimes I would say, ‘F-cking no, gross,’ and we got pizza.” Well… okay then. Not sure what else to say about that. C.K. pleasuring himself in front of a woman who admittedly wants him to do so is fine of course.  Especially, as Silverman notes here, when the two people involved are peers. But C.K. pleasuring himself in front of women who did not give their consent and over whom he held power is unethical and wildly inappropriate. Silverman’s point here, however, is that C.K. may not have realized this upon yanking out his junk in front of his victims. “I’m not saying what he did was okay,” she said to Stern, explaining: “I’m just saying at a certain point, when he became influential, not even famous, but influential in the world of comedy, it changes. “He felt like he was the same person, but the dynamic was different and it was not okay.” It was definitely not okay. “I’m not saying everyone should embrace Louis again,” Silverman continued. “I believe he has remorse. I just want him to talk about it on stage. He’s going to have to find his way or not find his way.” Louis, of course, has now returned to the stage , despite many people thinking he hasn’t learned any lessons; suffered any consequences; or taking any steps to make anyone believe he regrets his actions. Said C.K. in a statement after the aforementioned five women came forward: These stories are true. At the time, I said to myself that what I did was O.K. because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true. But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn’t a question. It’s a predicament for them. The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly. I have been remorseful of my actions. And I’ve tried to learn from them. And run from them. Now I’m aware of the extent of the impact of my actions. One of the women who sat and watched C.K. masturbate said the experience discouraged her from pursuing a career in comedy. It ruined the entire entertainment industry for her. Concluded C.K. in his statement: I learned yesterday the extent to which I left these women who admired me feeling badly about themselves and cautious around other men who would never have put them in that position. I also took advantage of the fact that I was widely admired in my and their community, which disabled them from sharing their story and brought hardship to them when they tried because people who look up to me didn’t want to hear it.. There is nothing about this that I forgive myself for. And I have to reconcile it with who I am. Which is nothing compared to the task I left them with. I wish I had reacted to their admiration of me by being a good example to them as a man and given them some guidance as a comedian, including because I admired their work. The hardest regret to live with is what you’ve done to hurt someone else. And I can hardly wrap my head around the scope of hurt I brought on them… I’ve brought pain to my family, my friends, my children and their mother. I have spent my long and lucky career talking and saying anything I want. I will now step back and take a long time to listen. View Slideshow: Hollywood Sex Scandal: Who’s Been Caught? Accused?
