Kim Zolciak: SUING NeNe Leakes for Calling Her a Racist!

You always assume that at least a decent chunk of the drama on the Real Housewives franchise is because everyone knows that the camera is there. People want screentime, they want fans, they want gifs, and they know that stirring drama and acting out can get that for them. But sometimes, those conflicts spill off of the show and even off of social media. And now the feud between two stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta could be on its way to court. Kim Zolciak is fuming at NeNe Leakes’ recent comments, and it’s enough that she’s hired a lawyer. Oh, boy. The long-standing (thought occasionally on-again, off-again) feud between NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak has been a real asset to The Real Housewives of Atlanta . People don’t tune in to reality television to watch people getting along and talking about having their pool installed. They want conflict. We don’t know that this says anything great about human nature, but peaceful coexistence is not entertainment. Anyway, unfortunately, when it comes to reality shows, the line between what’s just for show and what’s personal can so often become blurred. The most recent spat between these two Housewives revolves around what NeNe Leakes said about Brielle Biermann . Quite frankly, you don’t have to be Brielle’s mother to feel that NeNe crossed the line. Basically what happened was that Brielle has been a tangential part of her mom’s feud with NeNe for a while. We suppose that it’s not uncommon for adult daughters — Brielle is 20 years old and old enough to, you know, have opinions about her mom’s frenemies. In a video that Brielle recorded at NeNe’s home, Brielle mentions what appears to be a roach infestation and shows footage of multiple dark beetles that appear to be roaches. Gross! Let’s be clear — sometimes a few roaches can end up in someone’s house, especially if there’s a party where doors spend any amount of time being open. That’s just how life works. It doesn’t mean that the house is filthy or whatever. And also, even extremely nice, clean homes can have infestations of multiple varieties. Sometimes it’s just a matter of where your house is located and what creatures live there. NeNe did not appreciate Brielle’s video. At all. She blasted Brielle Biermann in a public manner, telling her what to do with her appearance and calling her racist (a claim that NeNe has also made many times against Kim Zolciak). Part of NeNe’s message was especially creepy and gross: “We don’t have roaches! If you found 1, u brought it with u or it fell outta ur funky pussy!” YIKES . So Kim Zolciak apparently decided that enough was enough. TMZ reports that the Don’t Be Tardy star hired an attorney at a high-powered law firm and is threatening to sue NeNe Leakes  for millions if she doesn’t apologize to Kim and to her daughter. Specifically, NeNe needs to apologize for calling them racist. NeNe has made numerous comments on social media along these lines. “Kim & her child did something very wrong & disgusting! Black people and roaches in the same sentence don’t work for me boo.” (People of all races get bugs in their homes, NeNe) NeNe has also said: “Kim & her daughter oops whole family are racists!” In her rant against Brielle, NeNe included the tags “#racisttrash” and “#KKK.” A lot of people in this world are racist and might not even realize it, though NeNe doesn’t seem eager to provide examples of racism (and also seems fine with Kim when they’re getting along). But the “KKK” line is either the worst use of hyperbole that we’ve seen in a while or a serious accusation that deserves either evidence for why she thinks that the Zolciak-Biermann women are in a racist terrorist organization or a very solemn apology. Again, there are countless instances of real-world racism. It gets people killed and it makes them feel like outsiders in their own communities. For NeNe to throw around the word at Kim because they don’t get along, which is what appears to be happening, is unconscionable. And if NeNe truly believes that they’re racists, she should present to the world whatever it is that makes her think that. This is all right on the heels of NeNe Leakes wishing her heckler would get raped and then later issuing a less-than-perfect apology for it. Yes she was sorry, but she should not have said that in the first place. We know that NeNe has become famous for being such a reality television firebrand and saying whatever pops into her head, but even she needs to learn to filter or she’ll be doing a lot more apologizing in the future. Or, if not apologizing, she just might end up paying for it — literally. View Slideshow: Real Housewives All Stars: Who Should Be Cast?

He’s all over the place, bouncing from crying about his mother raising 4 bad kids alone to defending his brother’s suspiciously high spending, saying they’re wealthy people and “$100,000 isn’t really that much money.” Las Vegas gunman's brother: “I hope the hell they find, when they do the autopsy, that there's a tumor in his head or something.” pic.twitter.com/RfRWwCHrCi — CBS News (@CBSNews) October 3, 2017 “This is what everybody is so scared about right now. Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin: DATING?!

Remember when Brenda Song and Trace Cyrus were a couple? They seemed, to many people, like a bit of a mismatch. And it wasn’t that long ago, really, when Macaulay Culkin and Mila Kunis broke up . Well … it’s been almost a decade, but still. Why are we bringing up two random couples? Because they’re no longer unrelated — because Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin are apparently an item now. There were actually some dating rumors about Macaulay and Brenda back in July, but at the time they were just spotted out-and-about together. Like, people are allowed to have friends, folks. You can see how they’d get along. Despite having been a Disney child star, Brenda Song gets along well with a lot of “alternative” crowds. (Again, she used to date Trace Cyrus) Macaulay Culkin sort of embodies the “child actor turned eccentric adult whom fans still like but can’t quite figure out and also sometimes people worry about his health and well-being” concept. So they seem like they’d be a good match, in general. And an 8-year age difference is hardly a deal-breaker at this point, right? But here’s why we actually think that they’re dating, for real: Entertainment Tonight reports that Macaulay and Brenda were showing PDA at Knott’s Scary Farm celebrity night, which was on Friday. “Parkgoers said they were very cute with each other holding hands and very affectionate.” Going out and about shopping or whatever? That’s something that people do all of the time. Hand-holding and cuddling and generally seeming joined at the hip? That sometimes happens in friendships but is way, way more likely when there’s a romantic element to your relationship. Reportedly, the two of them:”Looked like they were having a great time.” That’s good to hear, though not surprising. “They all looked super comfortable together and like they were having a great night out.” They were out and about with mutual friend Seth Green and his girlfriend. Leading some to wonder if Seth had set the two of them up. Hmmm … Brenda Song has spoken about the movie that she’s doing along with Macaulay. They filmed together in Thailand and we wonder if it was there that the sparks started flying. Here’s how Brenda describes it all: “It’s basically about a guy who is going on a planned a trip with his wife, finds out that she’s cheating on him, and his best friend jumps in last minute, and it’s their adventures in Thailand and the people they sort of come across, and the crazy adventures that happen when you go on a trip across the world.” To film it, they themselves went on that trip across the world. “It’s been incredible. We spent five weeks in Thailand shooting this. Seth directed and wrote and starred in it, and this has been in the making for the last seven years, so he made it happen, it was incredible — it was like, Changeland for me. That sounds super cheesy but, like, I came back like a different person.” Interesting. Did she also come back with a different person? She credits Seth Green for convincing Macaulay, a notorious recluse when he’s not bonding with his goddaughter , to be in the film. “Seth and him had done Party Monster  together so they had been friends forever, so I think that’s probably how he got [him] in, but it was a wonderful experience.” That’s what everyone says about movies. That’s also what you might say if you’d picked up a boyfriend during filming, right? “Everyone was great … we had the best time ever. Everyone was lovely, we just got to go to Thailand and hang out with our best friends for five weeks.” That does sound like an amazing bonding experience. Brenda Song did decline to comment to Entertainment Tonight on whether she’s actually dating Macaulay. But … she didn’t deny it. She just says that she doesn’t like to openly discuss her love life. We get that. We also get that, by not denying it, she wasn’t exactly shooting down any rumors. That combined with PDA sounds just a few degrees shy of a confirmation. As for that movie, though … it sounds interesting. Also, one of our favorite films is Saved !, which starred Macaulay. So when he does choose to be in something, it can be amazingly good.

Joy-Anna Duggar Shares Pregnancy Update, Anti-Abortion Views on Instagram

If you’re a fan of her family’s, then by now, you’ve likely heard the news that Joy-Anna Duggar is pregnant with her first child . The announcement came as a shock to many, as Joy-Anna is just 19 years old, and it appears as though she may have gotten pregnant before her wedding to Austin Forsyth , despite her family’s strict ban on premarital sex. But regardless of the controversy surrounding her pregnancy, Joy-Anna is clearly ecstatic, and she’s been sharing her joy with fans on social media: Joy-Anna posted the above photo earlier today, along with the following caption: “Can’t wait to meet our baby!! I got to feel it kick for the first time a few days ago!!! Soooooo amazing!!! It’s already about the size of a bell pepper and weighs around half a pound!!! #childrenareagiftfromGod #westandforlife” Yes, as you might have guessed from those hashtags, Joy-Anna is about to get political on you. Given that procreation and strict fundamentalist religious beliefs are the things they’re best known for, it should come as no surprise that the Duggars are staunchly anti-abortion. In case her hashtags failed to make that clear, Joy-Anna also shared this photo of her husband holding a sign by the side of the road for some reason. Following the Josh Duggar sex scandals , there was a brief period of time when the Duggars mostly steered clear of politics. Perhaps it was the fear that their constant moralizing would make them seem hypocritical in the wake of the revelation that they’d knowingly harbored a sexual predator. (And of course, they were right on that score.) But now it looks as though the Duggars are laboring under the delusion that Josh’s crimes have faded from the public’s memory to the point that they can once again begin flaunting their supposed moral superiority. Sources close to the family believe Joy-Anna is planning a career in politics , but she’s not the only one who’s speaking out on controversial political issues. Just last month, Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard, attacked Jazz Jennings on Twitter, berating the transgender teen, who, like the Duggars, stars in a reality series on TLC. Clearly, the family has been emboldened by the forgiveness of many of their more cultishly devoted fans, and it’s even been rumored that Josh Duggar will soon return to television , despite frequent promises to the contrary. Whatever the case, it seems the Duggars are on the verge of reclaiming what they feel is lost territory.  And it’ll be interesting to see if the public allows it. Crystal Hefner Breaks Silence, Addresses Husband’s Death

In the wake of Hugh Hefner’s death, nearly everyone that was close to the Playboy founder issued some kind of sorrowful statement. Nearly everyone except the woman married to him, that is. But Crystal Hefner has now broken her silence, two days after her famous husband was laid to rest in an intimate funeral attended by close friends and loved ones. “I haven’t been able to bring myself to write most people back to thank them for their condolences,” Crystal told E! News in a statement, adding simply and sadly: “I am heartbroken. I am still in disbelief.” Hefner passed away at the age of 91 last Wednesday. There had been rumors for several months that the publishing legend was ill, as he had not made any public appearances or posed for any pictures in quite awhile. Hefner was buried over the weekend alongside Marilyn Monroe, an honor for which he paid $75,000 back in 1992. “He is in the place he was always certain he wanted to spend eternity,” says Crystal. Only 31 years old, Crystal has always been aware that critics believed she married Hefner purely for his money and lifestyle. But she didn’t even bother to address those allegations in her chat with E! News. She stopped trying to convince those haters a long time ago. “He was an American hero. A pioneer. A kind and humble soul who opened up his life and home to the world,” she says, continuing as follows: “I felt how much he loved me. I loved him so much. I am so grateful. He gave me life. “He gave me direction. He taught me kindness. I will feel eternally grateful to have been by his side, holding his hand, and telling him how much I love him.” Concludes the widow: “He changed my life, he saved my life. He made me feel loved every single day. He was a beacon to the world, a force unlike anything else. “There never has and never will be another Hugh M. Hefner.” On that , everyone can likely agree. Those who attended Hefner’s funeral included Natalie Wood, Florence Henderson, Truman Capote, Eve Arden, Don Knotts, Walter Matthau, Carroll O’Connor and Roy Oribison. The publisher’s four kids were there, too, of course. “I join the world in mourning,” Crystal tells E! News. “I thank you for all of your condolences. To the people leaving sentiments at the front gate, we see you and grieve with you.” Hef’s last will and testament have yet not been made public. However, according to reports, his fortune, worth between $43 million and $110 million, is expected to go to his family and charities. There’s been talk t hat he left nothing for his wife .
