Lauren London, Naturi Naughton, More Help Launch Fearless New Mag

‘Class of 2010’ issue is the answer to Vanity Fair ‘s controversial ‘New Hollywood’ picks. By Shaheem Reid Fearless Magazine Photo: Arian Simone Enterprises The new magazine Fearless launches this month by answering Vanity Fair ‘s “New Hollywood” issue with its ” Fearless Class of 2010.” While Vanity Fair was criticized for featuring only white actresses on the cover, Fearless showcases only black actresses. Getting the front-page stamp for the mag’s maiden voyage are Tia Mowry, Naturi Naughton, Monique Coleman, Jennifer Freeman, Kyla Pratt, Tiffany Hines, Chyna Layne and Lauren London. London, who has a child with Lil Wayne, revealed that she will star in the VH1 movie “Single Ladies,” which Queen Latifah is spearheading, and she also explained her spirituality. “I’m always a fighter. With God, no person can stop you,” she told the mag. Meanwhile, Mowry, who stars in the “The Game,” said she lives her life like the name of the magazine. “Success comes with risk,” she said. “Being fearless is important.” “The idea to put a group of young women on the cover was thought of long before the year’s Vanity Fair controversy, but after it happened, our Editorial Board thought it was a great opportunity to celebrate women of color who are actresses in Young Hollywood,” said Arian Simone, the magazine’s editorial director. Simone described the ” Fearless woman” as fashion-forward, free-spirited and forever young. “Takers” actor Lance Cross and athletes Andre Verto and Dwight Freeny are also featured in the issue. What do you think about the magazine’s “Class of 2010”? Let us know in the comments!

The Hills Recap: Poor Ryan Cabrera!

Another week, another episode of The Hills that could have used a dose of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who have just vanished from it with no explanation. Amusingly, Speidi’s real life drama is chronicled on the MTV show’s official blog, despite no sign of them on the show in weeks, or acknowledgment of this fact. In any case, the show was more of the same that we’ve seen in recent weeks – Allie Lutz continues to vie for McKaela Line and battles it out with Team Kristin. Seriously, this is what The Hills has become, and alas, what it will continue to be in all likelihood. Lauren Conrad and Speidi are not walking through that door! Here’s THG’s plus-minus recap of last night’s The Hills … Once again torn between Justin-Bobby and a superior guy, Audrina Patridge talks with Lo, who asks if she’d take J-B back if he changed. No answer. Minus 14 . Justin-Bobby gets thugged out at the club – and deep, man . Kristin Cavallari tells Brody Jenner that she warned McKaela about Allie and alleged break-in we’re supposed to care about. She’s so catty, it’s great. Plus 7 . Allie insists to McKaela that Kristin’s stories about her are, like, so totally not true and drops the classic drunk girl line: “They don’t even KNOW me!” Plus 5 . Everybody heads to Les Deux later – including Justin-Bobby and Ryan Cabrera, who have the most awkward introduction ever. Plus 9 , because that was real! Justin-Bobby tells Brody that Audrina “deserves the world” and doesn’t need grief. Minus 12 , because there’s no way he didn’t read that off MTV’s cue cards. Stephanie and Max are having a nice dinner when talk turns to her estranged relationship with Spencer Pratt and her DUI arrest. Double buzzkill! Minus 9 . When Audrina suggests that the “honeymoon” is over, Ryan says “If we caught each other at the wrong time, we need to figure it out. It’s your life.” Plus 5 . The cheese factor is amped up to 11 when, live in concert, he says he wants to sing a love song, which prompts Audrina to start crying. Words fail us. Wash . Kristin Cavallari Lutz Allie have it . Side note: You gotta love how Ryan, unlike the others who receive just a single name (e.g. Audrina, McKaela, Kristin), is always billed as Ryan Cabrera. Plus 3 . Stephanie says she isn’t sure if she is ready to date at this stage, at least until she finds a guy who understands her life. Minus 8 . Um, girl, get over yourself. At the Young Hollywood Party, Audrina Patridge hints at a breakup with Ryan. Too bad, because he actually seems like a good dude, despite the hair. Minus 7 . In vintage Hills fashion, an argument soon erupts between Kristin and Allie before Brody breaks it up. Poor McKaela just looks lost, unsure what to do. Plus 8 . Kristin thanks Brody for having her back, which he says he always will … unless he wants to nail some new girl. They walk off arm-in-arm, as usual. Minus 3 . Side note: We swore Kristin Cavallari was Heidi Montag for a sec with the makeup and teased hair – but a lack of HUGE fake breasts dashed our hopes. Plus 2 . TOTAL: -14 . SEASON: -6 .

The Jonas Brothers’ ‘It’s On’ Video Gives Sneak Peek Of ‘Camp Rock 2’

JoBros’ new video was made just after they wrapped the Disney movie. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by James Lacsina Kevin and Joe Jonas Photo: MTV News Fans will get a glimpse into the world of “Camp Rock 2” on Friday night (May 14), when the Jonas Brothers release their new music video for the track, “It’s On,” off the TV-movie’s soundtrack. Shot just as the guys wrapped up work on “CR2,” which will premiere September 3 on Disney, the guys say that the video perfectly encapsulates the vibe of the sequel. “We shot [the video] back in September, October, and it was a great experience,” Joe Jonas told MTV News at the Young Hollywood Awards on Thursday night. “We were able to get back with the cast, and the video was really fun. Joe added that the video, which was directed by Brandon Dickerson, will give fans a taste of what they will see in the flick. “It has a lot of pieces to the puzzle to what people will see when the movie does come out,” he said. “I think it’s also a little something of what people are going to see when we go out on tour.” “The video is a really cool concept,” Kevin Jonas continued. “It takes on the aspect of the music and just the intensity, the high energy of what the song is. … What’s cool is just the passion of all the people who are singing.” Nick explained that it was a bit of a high-intensity shoot since they filmed “It’s On” at night. “It was good. It was a long night. We shot it overnight, ’cause we wrapped the movie with night shoots so from basically 10 [at night] to 10 in the morning every day [we shot the movie],” he said. “And after the movie wrapped, we shot the video, so we had to stay on that schedule. We stayed up all night and then [had] a flight on the next day. It was [an experience] we’ll never forget.” What’s your favorite Jonas Brothers video? Share your thoughts in the comments. Justin Bieber Dishes On ‘Hanging Out’ With Miley Cyrus

‘If you look on the Internet you’ll see other girls that I hang out with,’ Bieber tells Ellen DeGeneres. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber (file) Photo: Michael Loccisano/ Getty Images Earlier this week, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber were spotted getting sushi together in Hollywood. The video had many fans wondering if Cyrus, who once claimed Kurt Cobain was more her type than Bieber, and Bieber were the newest item on the Young Hollywood block. So when Bieber stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this week to tape an episode airing on Monday, the hot-button discussion was his dinner with Cyrus. The issue was initially brought up when Degeneres asked Bieber if he had a girlfriend. His response? “Not really. Like, I’m dating around, hanging out with girls, but not really dating.” “Like hanging around with Miley Cyrus?” DeGeneres asked. Bieber, however, kept his response general. “Just like hanging around with people … just hanging out. Yeah, and just people …” he said, adding that if fans really do their research they can see he’s been spending his time with lots of girls. “If you look on the Internet you’ll see other girls that I hang out with,” he explained. When the duo wasn’t talking girls, Bieber’s famous hair was also brought up. And the teen star explained that his coif is actually quite easy to maintain. “It all comes together. Like 5 minutes. Like, seriously,” he said. “People are always like, ‘Yeah, right.’ I get out of the shower, I blow-dry it and then it’s done in like five minutes.” So where does Bieber draw the line when it comes to his hair? Well, when DeGeneres tried to cut his hair, Bieber quickly moved away, saying, “Hey! Hey!” Do you think Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus would make a good couple? Let us know in the comments below! ‘Vampire Diaries’ Cast Reacts To ‘Bonkers’ Season Finale

‘I had a lot of fun being crazy and doing bad things,’ Nina Dobrev says of Thursday’s shocking episode. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by James Lacsina Paul Wesley Photo: Valerie Macon/ Getty Images On Thursday night’s season finale of “The Vampire Diaries,” fans were treated to a thrill ride of plot twists, turns and OMG moments. With some cast members dying, others with lives left in peril and still others with secrets revealed, fans are left salivating to find out what will happen when season two returns later this year. And while viewers were left stunned by the road the finale went down, even the cast couldn’t believe how the season all came to a head. “There’s a bunch of cliffhangers and surreal, strange things that occur in this last episode,” Steven R. McQueen, who plays Jeremy, told MTV News at the Young Hollywood Awards on Thursday night. “I think we all took it as a blessing to be able to play these strange situations that can never occur in real life and just feel honored and blessed.” Zach Roerig, who plays Matt, added, “Very eloquently said, right?” And Candice Accola summed up the episode, saying, “It was a bonkers finale — is everyone flipping out?” But what Accola wouldn’t dish on is whether Tyler (Michael Trevino) is a werewolf, an aspect of his life teased in the finale. “I plead the Fifth. I don’t know what you’re talking about. Who knows? I don’t know,” she said, adding that she also doesn’t know what will happen to her character, Caroline, after the car crash. “I don’t know. This is going to be such a pain in the butt for you ’cause I don’t know. There is a car crash that happens, but I really don’t know the outcome of it.” The show’s male lead, Paul Wesley (Stefan), initially had his fears about doing so much in the finale, but he was truly pleased by the way it all turned out. “Well, I was like, ‘Whoa, this a huge endeavor,’ ” he said. “The last four pages … really take the audience on a little bit of a thrill ride. I mean, the whole thing’s good, but the way it ends is kind of incredible.” His love interest on the show, Nina Dobrev (Elena), agrees. “I remember sitting in bed reading the script, and when I got towards the end it was so [crazy]. Every single episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ I feel I am always shocked and surprised. … This one being the finale has to exceed all expectations and go above and beyond,” she said. “And I think it does, and it’s crazy and fun, and I had a lot of fun being crazy and doing bad things.” Did you see the finale? What shocked you most?

Robert Pattinson Gets Birthday Greetings From Young Hollywood

Vanessa Hudgens, Stephanie Pratt and others wish RPattz the best at Nylon , YouTube party. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by James Lacsina Robert Pattinson Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images HOLLYWOOD — Everyone from Nylon ‘s May cover girls, Vanessa Hudgens, Portia Doubleday and Ashley Greene, to Zac Efron and the girls from “The City” and “The Hills” stopped by the Nylon and YouTube Young Hollywood Party held at the Roosevelt Hotel on Wednesday night. And while they were all there to celebrate young Hollywood’s finest, Robert Pattinson’s 24th birthday was also on some minds — well, particularly when MTV News asked them about it on the red carpet. “Rob, I hope you have the best birthday ever, and let me know where your party is,” Stephanie Pratt addressed the “Twilight” star via MTV News. “I will be there!” Chelsea Staub from the TV show “JONAS” seemed to want to join Pratt at Pattinson’s birthday bash. “If you want to party, give me a call,” she said. “Happy birthday!” Vanessa Hudgens said with a giggle. “I whole-heartedly wish you a happy birthday,” “The Buried Life” star Ben Nemtin said. His gal pal, “The City” star Whitney Port, added simply, “Happy birthday!” The conversation very quickly turned to what these young Hollywood stars would give Pattinson for his big day. “A fish taco, ’cause fish tacos are really good,” Nemtin said. “And if you haven’t had one for your birthday, you should have one.” Hudgens was reluctant to presume what RPattz would want. “I met him once or twice. I don’t really know him,” she said. “I don’t know what he likes. So, I hope he has a good one.” Staub had the perfect gift idea: “Some ear plugs,” she suggested for the actor who’s greeted worldwide by screaming girls. “Because I’m sure he’s going to have hearing damage by the time his career is over.” Pratt, however, decided to take her gift to the next level. “Probably a tux to wear to our wedding,” she said.
