Young Jeezy and Rick Ross have been throwing verbal shots at each other for months, but what were the Snowman’s thoughts when he heard about Rick Ross having two seizures in one day? Def Jam Records launched 25 years ago, and Jay-Z and Young Jeezy came by the Spotted Pig in New York City to celebrate. The private dinner took place on Friday (October 14th), after Def Jam founders Rick Rubin and Russell Simmons spoke at the New York Public Library about the label’s early years chronicled in the book Def Jam Recordings: The First 25 Years of the Last Great Record Label . Former Def Jam executives like Lyor Cohen, Kevin Liles, Julie Greenwald and Michael Kyser were also in attendance at the power dinner, and here’s a look at some of the photos from the night. TMZ is reporting that Rick Ross has had another seizure. We reported earlier that the Boss was unconscious after suffering a seizure on a plane flying from Ft. Lauderdale to Memphis. That plane made an emergency landing and Ross was taken to a hospital where he was in stable condition. He apparently decided to try and fly to Memphis anyway where he was scheduled to perform with Yo Gotti tonight. But at 5:44 PM CDT, Ross’ private jet was diverted and landed in Birmingham after Rick had another seizure in flight. Rick is currently in a Birmingham hospital emergency room. Read more at TMZ. TMZ is reporting that rapper Rick Ross was on a flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Memphis today when he apparently had a seizure and lost consciousness. The plane was forced to make an emergency landing. Police told TMZ that Ross has been transported to a nearby hospital, and a family member told TMZ that Rick is currently under close supervision and is doing fine. Rick Ross tweeted this earlier: Wale, Meek Mill and Hot 107.9′s own DJ Scream, who recently signed to Ross’ Maybach Music Group, also jumped on twitter to say, thankfully, that Rick is okay! T.I. and Usher joined country star Taylor Swift in a couple of surprise duets at her concert at Philips Arena in Atlanta over the weekend. Towards the end of Swift’s concert on Sunday night, she introduced the recently freed T.I. by singing the opening chorus of his hit song with Rihanna, “Live Your Life.” Swift also brought out Atlanta’s own Usher, who performed the hit “Yeah!” with Swift. Usher also brought his sons onstage. T.I.’s surprise performance capped a busy weekend for the ATL rapper, who also took part in a host of activities surrounding the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta.
