Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore: Spotted Together!

A week after spending their sixth wedding anniversary apart, and days after a tabloid story exploded the Internet with rumors of their demise , Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were spotted at the same place on Friday. Described as “tense,” but each donning his/her wedding ring, the stars attended a private meeting at a Los Angeles-area Kaballah center, sources confirm to Us Weekly . Sorry, Demi. Ashton may have already moved on. The couple has received “counseling from Kabbalah over the summer to try to fix their marriage,” another insider claimed last week, leading many to believe Moore and Kutcher might still try to work this out, despite reports that the latter gave it to Sara Leal in a San Diego Hotel on September 23. Then again, we really shouldn’t make that assumption, right, Ashton? Via Twitter, the socially inept actor warned that one makes “an ASS out of U and ME” when one does so. Our bad, man.

By Jocelyn Vena Jack White Photo: Jordan Strauss/ WireImage Jack White and his wife, model/singer Karen Elson, have announced their divorce, but it doesn’t seem like there are hard feelings between them. They plan to commemorate the ending of their six-year marriage with a divorce party this weekend, according to People.com . “Karen Elson and Jack White announce today that they are getting divorced,” a statement about their divorce reads. “We remain dear and trusted friends and co-parents to our wonderful children Scarlett and Henry Lee. We feel so fortunate for the time we have shared and the time we will continue to spend both separately and together watching our children grow. “In honor of that time shared, we are throwing a divorce party,” the statement continues. “An evening together in Nashville to reaffirm our friendship and celebrate the past and future with close friends and family.” This is the second split for White this year. Earlier this year, Jack and Meg White officially dissolved the White Stripes . The musical partners had also been previously married to one another. White married Elson (who appeared in the Stripes’ “Blue Orchid” video) in 2005 in Brazil, quickly expanding their family with a son and daughter. They reside in Nashville where the party is expected to take place on Friday night (June 10). An invitation says that the unusual party will have “dancing, photos, memories and drinks with alcohol in them. … Please help us celebrate together this anniversary of the making and breaking of the sacred union of marriage with our best friends and animals.” So, who made the guest list? The invite adds, “This is only for close personal friends and family. So please no plus ones or dead beats.” Related Artists The White Stripes

‘Chronicles Of Narnia’ Journeys To Top Of Friday Box Office

‘Voyage of the Dawn Treader’ makes $8.2 million on first day in theaters. By Mawuse Ziegbe Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes and Ben Barnes in “The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader” Photo: 20th Century Fox It looks like Liam Neeson’s globe-trotting efforts to pin down the correct feline sensibilities for his role in “Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” were not in vain. Neeson recently told MTV News that he traveled to Africa to observe real-life lions to help craft his portrayal of a CGI jungle monarch in the fantasy flick, and when the film hit theaters Friday it ruled the box office. The third installment in the series opened at the top spot, picking up $8.2 million. Behind “Narnia” is another hotly anticipated debut: Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp’s Europe-based caper “The Tourist.” Even though Jolie’s large brood teased her “funny” accent in the flick, the camera-friendly A-listers’ thriller arrived in theaters in second place. The film, which also features Paul Bettany and Timothy Dalton, kicked off the weekend with $6.1 million. The animated family-friendly flick “Tangled” continued to nab moviegoers at the box office. Disney’s reimagining of the classic fairy tale “Rapunzel,” which features the vocal talents of Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, raked in $3.4 million at the box office. Friday’s haul pushes the film’s total estimated gross to $104 million. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1” added a few coins to its already stuffed bank on Friday, coming in fourth place. The latest flick in the blockbuster wizard saga pulled in $2.4 million, a figure which nudges the “Potter” tally to around $251 million. “Unstoppable” still pumped along in theaters, coming in fifth place on Friday. Denzel Washington and Chris Pine’s locomotive thriller rang up around $1.2 million in ticket receipts as it entered the weekend. The film’s total estimated gross now stands at about $71 million. Check out everything we’ve got on “Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of Dawn Treader,” “The Tourist” and “Tangled.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com.

Friday Box Office: Forever and Ever

Stop me if this sounds familiar: Thanks to some lesser-than-expected dollars from the new releases, Shrek Forever After remained in first place on Friday night and should wind up easily winning the weekend — the Dreamworks hit pulled down $7 million to pace one of the weakest summer fields in recent memory. How weak? Runner up Get Him to the Greek grabbed just $6 million and that was still as much as other new releases Marmaduke ($3.5 million in 6th) and Splice ($2.5 million in 8th) combined . Meanwhile, Katherine Heigl haters rejoice: Killers landed in third with $5.7 million. Imagine how much better it could have done with “The” in the title! The top-five after the jump.
