Peabo Bryson remains hospitalized in stable condition after having what’s being called a “mild” heart attack. A rep for Peabo told TMZ that the Grammy winner was at his home in Georgia early Saturday morning when he suffered the attack. His rep says he’s currently responsive and both his medical team and family are optimistic that he’ll make a speedy recovery. “At this time, privacy is requested; however, the thoughts and prayers of friends and fans are welcomed and appreciated,” Peabo’s rep told TMZ. Thoughts and prayers for the man who gave us “A Whole New World”—you got it, Peabo! Get well soon.

Naturally, there was a TON of death and we said goodbye to some key characters — but ALL of them went down swinging! Ser Jorah, for example, died (in the friend zone) protecting Daenerys until the end. Young gangster Lyanna Mormont killed a whole giant on her way to the afterlife, and Theon Greyjoy completely redeemed himself as he protected Bran “Three Eye Raven” Stark from countless wights. Rest in peace to the homies, but … Arya is the BAD B*TCH we can’t stop talking about. Getting to the Night King just before he did Bran IN, Arya stuck the him with the pointy end of her knife and POOF… the Night King, Viserion, and all of the dead were… actually dead this time. This first kill seemed unintentional, but nevertheless it’s where she got her start. The Waif. Arya was terrified as all hell after the Faceless Men kind of, sort of ordered her death — but after being chased all around Braavos, she runs into a dark room and does the nameless bully girl in. Lord Walder Frey and his sons. This is when Arya established herself as a straight up savage, in my humble opinion. She disguised herself as a server, bakes Lord Frey’s two sons into a pie, feeds them to him, and then slits his throat. After killing Lord Frey, Arya goes “faceless” one mo’ ‘gain, pretends to be Lord Frey and lures his followers into a trap, poisoning every remaining Frey man and taking out their entire House in one fell swoop. Scheming Little Finger dies at Arya’s hand after unsuccessfully trying to pit her and her sister, Sansa, against each other. A slit of the throat seems to be Arya’s signature. Boy, bye. And, Finally The Night King Daenerys couldn’t do it. Jon Snow couldn’t do it. Theon Greyjoy damn sure couldn’t do it… but Arya gets to the Night King and leaves every Game of Thrones stan SHOOK. Over the weekend, Winfrey took three of her mentees, who have spent most of their lives under her tutelage as students at her Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa. “I’ve known these girls since they were 12 and 13 coming to my school. Graduating from college. Grad school. Now our first wedding. Looking for the perfect dress,” Winfrey wrote under a caption of the photo of herself with the girls. The photo also shows the young woman holding her dream dress, which according to the Daily Mail, costs $100,000. Winfrey took the trio on a shopping trip at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills and enjoyed the whole story to themselves, the outlet reports. As we’ve seen before Oprah has a soft place in her heart for the girls who have passed through the program at her Leadership Academy. In 2015, a group of the students attended a performance of The Color Purple with Winfrey, and also enjoyed a Mac and Clinique class, along with a dinner at the exclusive Rainbow Room. As previously reported Delucca Rolle was recently assaulted by Officers Christopher Krickovich and Sgt. Greg LaCerra. Lucca was pepper-sprayed before being slammed to the ground outside of a McDonald’s in Tamarac, Florida. One of the officers then banged the boy’s head into the concrete, breaking his nose. Lucca was an innocent bystander to a fight outside the restaurant and bent down to pick up his phone before he was assaulted. Now CBS News has spoken with Delucca’s family who’s happy to report that charges against the 9th grader were dropped. He was initially charged with assaulting an officer and resisting arrest. Now the 15-year-old continues to recover from his injuries and his family wants the officers prosecuted. Clintina Rolle, Delucca’s mother, told CBS News’ Mark Strassmann the videos were painful to watch and she heard about her son’s arrest when one of the deputies called her and implored that he was being violent. “I said, ‘Sir, I don’t believe my son hit the officer, that don’t sound like him. He said, ‘Oh you’re telling me I’m lying, huh? You’re telling me I’m lying?” Clintina said. “They are supposed to set example for us, they aren’t supposed to be doing that,” she added. “You know, to see somebody who is supposed to be protecting my child hurt my child, and it’s all I want is justice for him. We want to thank the amazing doctors at Cedars-Sinai Hospital for their expert care and kindness and we again want thank all of John’s fans, friends and colleagues for all of the love and support they showed him during this difficult time.” ***Update*** Singleton’s family released a statement informing fans John Singleton will be taken off life support today. “It is with heavy hearts we announce that our beloved son, father and friend, John Daniel Singleton will be taken off life support today. This was an agonizing decision, one that our family made, over a number of days, with the careful counsel of John’s doctors,” they said in a statement. Singleton “quietly struggled with hypertensions. More than 40% of African-American men and women have high blood pressure, which also develops earlier in life and is usually more severe.” ***Update*** According to FOX 4 , legendary director John Singleton has died. He was 51. However, TMZ has a conflicting report that Singleton is still alive and on life support. According to Michael Blackmon, reporter at BuzzFeedNews, Singleton’s publicist reached out to him to deny death reports. I just got an email from John Singleton's publicist about that one report saying he died early Monday morning. She said: “John is still in life support. The Boys N Tha Hood director suffered a fatal stroke two weeks ago and was in a medically coma until reports surfaced that he has passed. Singleton’s family is divided over his estate, TMZ reports. Singleton’s mother Sheila Ward is the conservator over his estate, however his daughter Cleopatra filed a motion in an attempt to gain control over his estate. But the battle isn’t limited to both Singleton’s mother and daughter, his girlfriend is also trying to gain control over his estate. Conflicting reports about Singleton’s death circulated last week after his daughter reportedly claimed his health was improving in an attempt to gain control out of fear Ward will “fleece” the estate and isolate the children out of their father’s $35 million fortune. Singleton was the first Black director to be nominated for an Academy Award for his prolific film Boyz n the Hood.
