According to police documents and The Newman Times-Herald , Boosie and Allen were pulled over by police after allegedly swerving in and out of traffic, nearly sideswiping another vehicle in the process. The arresting officer stopped Boosie, real name Torrence Hath, Jr. and Allen, claiming to have smelled marijuana from the vehicle and subsequently searched it. He reportedly found approximately 11 grams of marijuana and a loaded 9mm handgun, as well as a bag containing a “large sum of cash” and a vape pen believed to have THC oil in it. Additionally, Boosie allegedly admitted to the officer to have talked on his phone while driving, a misdemeanor in Georgia. Both Boosie and Allen were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule one drug, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Boosie also had a failure to maintain lane charge added as well. Both men are being held at the Coweta County Jail in Newman. Boosie’s most infamous run in with the law came on a first-degree murder charge back in 2010. Silence From Politicians Exposes Double Standard After Beto O’Rourke Calls Netanyahu ‘Racist’

Go here to see the original:

P residential candidate Beto O’Rourke appears to have gotten a free pass from Washington after unequivocally calling Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a “racist.” The reaction to O’Rourke’s words — there wasn’t one — stood in stark contrast to the bipartisan response to Minnesota’s freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar for her remarks about an influential pro-Israel lobby group in Washington. The silence from “ many sides ” highlighted the clear double standard and hypocrisy when it comes to who utters criticism of Israel. See Also: Meghan McCain Sheds White Tears Over Ilhan Omar And The Jewish Community, And No One Is Here For It While on the campaign trail in Iowa on Sunday, the Texas Democrat said the U.S.-Israeli relationship was important but threatened by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu . “That relationship, if it is to be successful, must transcend partisanship in the United States, and it must be able to transcend a prime minister who is racist, as he warns about Arabs coming to the polls, who wants to defy any prospect for peace as he threatens to annex the West Bank, and who has sided with a far-right, racist party in order to maintain his hold on power,” O’Rourke said just days ahead of Israel’s election on Tuesday for its next prime minister. The silence out of Washington—from Democrats and Republicans—was deafening compared to the sparks that flew against Omar, one of two Muslim congresswomen elected in November. Indeed, several other Democratic presidential candidates endorsed O’Rourke’s remarks about Israel’s prime minister. That same support proved elusive to Omar when she offered her criticism of Israel in February. She took to Twitter on Sunday and posted a simple emoji to publicly acknowledge that she recognized what appeared to be a double standard. https://t.co/x1hZuxASnW — Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) April 7, 2019 Omar found herself in the middle of a firestorm on Feb. 12 after there was outrage over her comment to a tweet about how she and Michigan’s Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib —the other Muslim woman member of Congress—could face consequences for criticizing Israel. “It’s all about the Benjamins baby,” she tweeted in reference to a slang term for $100 bills coined by rapper Notorious B.I.G. When asked whom she thought was paying lawmakers, Omar replied: “AIPAC!” a pro-Israel lobby group. The congresswoman was ultimately forced to apologize, saying that her intention was never to offend “my constituents or Jewish Americans as a whole. . . . This is why I unequivocally apologize.” That, however, failed to quiet the storm. Many Democrats and Republicans were still angry, with some calling her anti-Semitic and demanding her resignation . President Trump  described Omar’s apology as “lame.” A second round of outrage against Omar erupted from comments she made at a “progressive town hall” event in Washington, D.C., on Feb. 27. “I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is okay to push for allegiance to a foreign country,” Omar said at the event, supposedly referring to Israel. That remark was met with House Speaker  Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic leaders drafting a resolution clearly directed at and prompted by Omar though not naming her specifically. The House passed the resolution that broadly condemned hate and intolerance. Email Submit Police have found what are being described as “suspicious elements” at each crime scene and haven’t ruled out arson or the idea that all three crimes are related. “There is clearly something happening in this community,” State Fire Marshal H. Browning said in a statement on Thursday. “That is why it is imperative that the citizens of this community be part of our effort to figure out what it is.” All three fires happened on March 26 and a fourth fire was set that same Thursday that was said to be intentionally set in a the parish of Caddo. When it comes to suspects, motive, and potential hate crimes, the local police seem to be lost in the sauce. “There certainly is a commonality, and whether that leads to a person or persons or groups, we just don’t know,” Mr. Browning said at a news conference on Thursday. St. Landry is reportedly 56% white and 41% Black, but race relations are said to generally be good. We hope that the cops figure out what’s going on before another church burns or someone gets hurt or killed. How Did Sports Fans REALLY Feel About Muffet McGraw’s Viral Speech?

The head women’s basketball coach at the University of Notre Dame went viral twice last week — once, for speaking facts and a second time for those incomparable dance moves. At a press conference, a reporter asked McGraw how seriously she takes being the voice for equal hiring practices in sports. Obviously the answer is “very seriously” sir, but McGraw broke it down for the reporter so he and everyone else would have no doubt in their mind that it’s REAL. “Did you know that the Equal Rights Amendment was introduced in 1967 and it still hasn’t passed? We need 38 states to agree that discrimination on the basis of sex is unconstitutional. We’ve had a record number of women running for office and winning, and still, we have 23% of the House and 25% of the Senate,” she began. “I’m getting tired of the novelty of ‘the first female governor of this state,’ ‘the first  female African American mayor of this city.’ When is it going to become the norm instead of the exception?” Yes y’all, she was speaking up for women of color, TOO. “How are these young women looking up and seeing someone that looks like them preparing them for the future?,” she asked. “We don’t have enough female role models. We don’t have enough visible women leaders. We don’t have enough women in power. Girls are socialized to know when they come out: gender roles are already set, men run the world, men have the power, men make the decisions, it’s always the man that is the stronger one. And when these girls are coming out, who are they looking up to, to tell them that’s not the way it has to be? And where better to do that than in sports?” “All these millions of girls that play sports across the country, they could come out every day — and we’re teaching them great things about life skills — but wouldn’t it be great if we could teach them to watch how women lead?,” she continued. Next, McGraw — who recently said she doesn’t plan on hiring anymore male coaches — spit out statistics and simple reasoning for anyone who had an issue with that decision. “This is a path for you to take to get to the point where, in this country, we have 50% of women in power. We have… right now, less than five percent of women are CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. So, yes, when you look at men’s basketball and 99% of the jobs go to men, why shouldn’t 100 or 99% of the job in women’s basketball go to women? Maybe it’s because we only have 10% women athletic directors in Division I. People hire people who look like them and that’s the problem.” Thank you @BarackObama for supporting and empowering women sorry about busting your bracket tho — Muffet McGraw (@MuffetMcGraw) April 6, 2019 Watch the viral clip below and hit the flip to see how people feel about McGraw’s comments.
