We got our hands on a sneak peek of episode 103 of The Purge TV show which airs immediately after WWE Smackdown on the USA Network. If you’re a fan of the movies you’ll love the television show, as it is one of the must watch tv shows this fall. On tonight’s episode we see Penelope, who is played by Jessica Garza, getting ready to make the necessary sacrifices to offer herself up to Purgers, while Rick and Jenna played by amazing actors Colin Woodell and Hannah Anderson, consider the “intangibles” added to the cost of closing their business deal, they need to move up in the world. Lee Tergesen who you might remember from OZ also star in this new episode. In this clip, we see Gabriel Chavarria who plays Miguel, the brother of Penelope planning to go get his sister back before she sacrifices herself to blood-hungry purgers. If you’re new to The Purge you should know it’s based on the hit movie franchise from Blumhouse productions, The Purge tv show revolves around a 12-hour period when all crime, including murder, is legal. Set in a dystopian America ruled by a totalitarian political party, the series follows several seemingly unrelated characters living in a small city. Tying them all together is a mysterious savior who’s impeccably equipped for everything the night throws at them. As the clock winds down with their fates hanging in the balance, each character is forced to reckon with their pasts as they discover how far they will go to survive the night. From Blumhouse Television and Universal Cable Productions, The Purge is written and executive produced by the film franchise creator James DeMonaco and led by Jason Blum. Additionally, the entire team behind the blockbuster franchise are on board to executive produce: Michael Bay with Brad Fuller and Andrew Form under the Platinum Dunes banner and Sebastien K. Lemercier. Thomas Kelly serves as executive producer/showrunner of the series. Emmy® and Golden Globe® award-winner Anthony Hemingway will direct and executive produce the premiere episode. This on the heels of him announcing his 2nd solo album to come out titled “Yandhi.” Earlier this summer Kanye dropped “I Hate being Bi-Polar it’s Awesome.” He released this shortly after his TMZ encounter and wearing his MAGA hat on social media. This summer Kanye produced Teyana Taylor, Nas, and Pusha T’s album. He’s apparently not done. He’s working with Chance the Rapper to release a joint album called “Good Ass Job.” No release date on their album but both have taken to social media to promote the new album. The Clappers rapper says that he was racially profiled right before his flight to LA took off. Wale took to twitter to tell his followers that he was on the runway for over 30 minutes. 45 minutes after his flight was scheduled to take off, he said the flight was canceled. Three hours later, the rapper hadn’t gotten on any flight. Several hours later Wale tweeted American Airlines to let them know that he was profiled by two flight attendants. He also tweeted his boarding pass showing that he was in the right seat. I t’s no secret that Black voter turnout was low during the 2016 presidential campaign. Part of the reason was Democrats taking the Black vote for granted, rarely hiring African-Americans at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and poor messaging. For the 2018 midterms, the Black vote was again expected to be key, as it helped power Doug Jones past Roy Moore during the Alabama U.S. Senate race. In addition, Andrew Gillum of Florida and Stacey Abrams of Georgia secured their Democratic nominations for governor. Now, one Democrat was putting his money where his mouth is. SEE ALSO: Texas Cop Shoots Unarmed Black Man For Entering His Own Truck Billionaire Tom Steyer , most known for his calls to impeach 45, was donating $1 million to an initiative to increase turnout among Black youth, especially in the 2018 midterm elections, Axios.com reported . Black Lives Rising works directly with Color of Change PAC and Black Futures Lab. Arisha Hatch, director of Color of Change PAC, said they are avoiding “a transactional engagement with Black voters.” They will focus on Black non-voters and Black irregular voters — meaning voters who voted for President Barack Obama but haven’t felt compelled to vote in midterm elections. “For too long, Black youth have been denied a seat at the table, but with the rise of young black leaders … a new era of inclusive politics is emerging,” Steyer said in a statement. Clearly, Steyer knows the key to winning elections is the Black vote. Let’s see if other so-called progressive millionaires and billionaires follow his lead. Mark was Ernie, and Arnold was Bert. If you remember, Bert & Ernie were roommates at the 123 Sesame Street apartment. They always slept in separate beds, but they also always went back and forth with each other like couples tend to do. Saltzman, who was already with his partner before he became a Sesame Street writer, says he didn’t know else to write them, “but as a loving couple.” Follow @TheRSMS Saltzman on speculation around Bert and Ernie back in the day… I remember one time that a column from ‘The San Francisco Chronicle,’ a preschooler in the city turned to mom and asked “are Bert & Ernie lovers?” And that, coming from a preschooler was fun. And that got passed around, and everyone had their chuckle and went back to it. And I always felt that without a huge agenda, when I was writing Bert & Ernie, they were. I didn’t have any other way to contextualize them. The other thing was, more than one person referred to Arnie & I as “Bert & Ernie.” Saltzman on ways Bert and Ernie’s scenes reflected his relationship… How could it not permeate? The things that would tick off Arnie would be the things that would tick off Bert. How could it not? I will say that I would never have said to the head writer, “oh, I’m writing this, this is my partner and me.” But those two, Snuffalupagus, because he’s the sort of clinically depressed Muppet…you had characters that appealed to a gay audience. And Snuffy, this depressed person nobody can see, that’s sort of Kafka! It’s sort of gay closeted too. The writer says his personal relationship embodied the Bert & Ernie relationship. “I wrote sketches. Arnie’s OCD would create friction with how chaotic I was. Whereas the preceding single, “Fall In That B*tch,” had more of a spaced-out, late-night vibe to it, “Ferragamo” is a bouncy burner made for the final days of summer. It’s also filled with stylish and clever braggadocio, which is fitting given the track’s inspiration—famed Italian designer, Salvatore Ferragamo. The single also further demonstrates just how well 6orn (f/k/a Born) works with the Grammy-winning Zaytoven, who for the first time ever is producing an entire album for a rapper from north of ATL. Given his hit-making prowess, you know Zay wouldn’t work with just anyone, and he and 6orn absolutely gel on the singles they’ve delivered so far. It certainly bodes well for the entirety of Scales, which they will hopefully get to share with the world very soon. “Ferragamo” is available now through all major digital outlets and streaming platforms .
