Young Dolph Liberated Of $500K In Jewelry While Eating At Cracker Barrel

Rapper Young Dolph found himself short of nearly $500,000 in jewelry and luxury items that was taken from his SUV while he sat and ate in a Cracker Barrel. Yeah, you can’t make this up. WSBTV reports that Dolph was eating at a Cracker Barrel on Senoia Road in Fairburn, Georgia early Wednesday when he got gaffled, per the Fairburn police. Surveillance video showed the thieves essentially casing Dolph’s Mercedes Benz SUV a couple of times before breaking in and taking numerous, pricey items. Dolph told the cops that the following was taken: Diamond chain valued at approximately $27,000 Another chain valued at approximately $57,000 Richard Mille watch valued at approximately $230,000 Patek Philippe watch valued at approximately $85,000 Cartier sunglasses valued at $24,000 Cartier sunglasses valued at $700 Glock firearm Pirelli backpack valued at approximately $300 Apple Macbook valued at $3,000 Apple Ipad valued at $500 Apple Airpods valued at $200 Dolph also claimed that it would cost about $700 to fix the SUV’s broken window. Also worth noting, the cops may be thinking Dolph is pulling the jig. Assistant Police Chief Anthony Bazydlo was quoted as saying the incident is “unusual in a number of ways.” Bazydlo said investigators are puzzled by what happened after Young Dolph first got out of his truck. They say the taillights flashed off and on, and in the next couple of minutes, they flashed two more times.  “That’s interesting to us in terms of what was happening with the vehicle,” Bazydlo said. “Was it being locked? Unintentionally unlocked? We don’t know.” The plot thickens. Dame Dash Turning Himself In To Cops Over Child Support Warrants [Video]

The Roc-a-fella Records co-founder has warrants due to outstanding child support payments, but he swears he’s paid up. Reports TMZ : The rap mogul tells TMZ … he’ll surrender to authorities in NYC nearly 3 years after a family court judge first signed a warrant for his arrest. Damon’s accused of owing nearly $400k in support to Cindy Morales, mother of his son, Lucky — and to his ex-wife, Rachel Roy, with whom he has daughters Ava and Tallulah. Dame says the warrants are BS because he’s given both women more than enough dough — including $150k he gave Cindy for a home. He also claims Rachel draws her payments directly from his share of Rachel Roy Collection … the clothing company they co-own. Interestingly, news recently broke that Dash was attempting to re-purchase Roy’s clothing label . However, he’s also getting sued for a movie he produced by the author of the book the film is based on. As for the warrants, Dash explained the struggle to TMZ, and claims he has the receipts that prove he pad. But he’s sick of not being able to travel to NYC and his “name being compromised” so he’ll be turning himself in. Watch below. — Photo: Getty

‘The Voice’ Singer Janice Freeman Dead At 33

Source: WENN.com / WENN This is so sad. Singer  Janice Freeman has passed away at the age of 33. Freeman, who competed on season 13 of NBC’s  The Voice  in 2017 was on  Miley Cyrus ‘ team and reached the top 11 on the singing competition. Freeman passed away due to combined complications of lupus and bronchial infection. Freeman is survived by her husband Dion, her 12-year-old daughter, her mother, brothers, sisters and countless others. Her cousin,  Johanna confirmed her death on Instagram . “On Saturday afternoon, Janice began complaining that she couldn’t breath properly and, in a matter of minutes, required CPR from her husband,” her rep said. “He called 911, continuing to do CPR until paramedics arrived. While Janice arrived at the hospital alive, continued efforts could not save her. Doctors believe a blood clot had formed in her lungs, which led to her quick demise. Janice Freeman died at 5:30 p.m. PST.” Janice Freeman beat cervical cancer and lived with both lupus and Sjogren’s syndrome. She also survived meningococcal meningitis as a teen as well as kidney failure. “She struggled every single day,” her husband said in a statement. “She was constantly in pain—literally, for years—but was sure she would conquer it all. Mystikal Rejects Plea Deal In Rape Case, Lawyers Want Case Dismissed

However, the New Orleans rapper isn’t taking a plea deal and instead hopes to have the charges dismissed. Reports TMZ : The rapper’s lawyer, Joel Pearce, tells TMZ … he recently met with Caddo Parish, Louisiana prosecutors and they offered what seems like a sweet deal. The aggravated rape charge, which carries a life sentence, would be reduced to simple third-degree rape … with a 25-year max sentence. He says they’d also drop the second-degree kidnapping charge. In exchange, Mystikal would have to plead guilty to felony simple rape … which Pearce says he’s unwilling to do. Offer rejected. We’re told Mystikal and his defense team believe the alleged victim is lying and has major credibility issues, so they’re ready to play this out in court. The trial’s scheduled to start in May, but Pearce says plea negotiations are still ongoing. Mystikal only posted his bond a month ago after being locked up since turning himself in back in August 2017. These aren’t the circumstances Mystikal expected to find himself in. Obama Portraits Help Break Visitor Record At The National Portrait Gallery

L ast month marked a year since the portraits of former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama was introduced to the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. and the two vibrant illustrations of the couple have been a major draw for visitors. According to the Washington Post , the portraits of the Obamas were instrumental in helping the Smithsonian museum break a visitor record. “Where are the Obamas?”: Paintings of Barack and Michelle brought a million more people to Portrait Gallery https://t.co/kVcuLhVxFt — The Washington Post (@washingtonpost) February 26, 2019 The portraits—which were created by artists Kehinde Wiley and Amy Sherald —has taken the visitorship at the gallery to new levels. The Smithsonian American Art Museum ended 2018 with a total of 2.3 million visitors; an increase of a million more visitors than they had the previous year. Those who work at the National Gallery’s information desk say that they’ve never witnessed new paintings draw in so many people prior to the addition of the Obama portraits. Gallery volunteer Mary Francis Koerner says that visitors would typically ask to be directed to the portraits of the presidents but that question has changed over time. “Now it’s ‘Where are the Obamas?” she told the news outlet. “They have brought in so many people. After 4:30 there’s an uptick of the younger generation, and that’s who they come to see.” While the Obama portraits are visually captivating, they hold deeper meaning beyond the surface. The couple selected two African-American artists to create the artwork; making them the first Black artists to receive presidential commissions. “Big museums like this are dedicated to what we as a society hold most dear,” Wiley said in a statement, according to the Denver Post . “Growing up as a kid in South Central Los Angeles, there weren’t too many people who looked like me on those walls. The ability to be the first African-American painter to paint the first African-American president of the United States — it doesn’t get any better than that.” The National Portrait Gallery was created in 1962 and the tradition of adding portraits of outgoing presidents began in 1994. I got the goods for you.’ It happened in my career when someone offered me a show and I was like, ‘This is it!’ and then the show went to nowhere. I got borderline depressed. Cut to Insecure. Cut to my life has changed.” With that being said, Orji knows that based on what He’s done before, God has someone even greater in store for her. “And so, the way God has literally set up my life is the reason why when you call me and you’re like, ‘Are you ok?!’ I’m like, girl, I’m good!” she said. “I’m happy!” It also helped that after their split, Orji said she took time to process everything and did the work to move forward positively. And she walked away from it with her virginity still intact. The couple never had sex, so as a friend told Orji, “it was really easy for you to make a clean cut in terms of the emotional and spiritual.” Orji has spoken openly about her virginity since she stepped on the scene. She will not relinquish it until marriage as a promise to God. “I’m open, because why not? I’m grounded in who I am,” the star told PEOPLE in 2017. “Before any of [the fame] happened, I sat down with myself and with God and thought, when I make it, how do you want me to represent you while I’m here? It was like, OK, I know why I’m here. Johnny Cage Delivers Fades In The Most Hollywood Way In New ‘Mortal Kombat 11’ Reveal Trailer

Cage is the latest character revealed joining the growing the list of fighters that will be in NetherRealm Studios’ highly anticipated game Mortal Kombat 11 . We might have found our favorite character. Cage is the focus of this weeks Kombat Kast that last announced that Princess Kitana’s BFF and deadly assassin Jade would be returning to MK11 as well. Armed with his signature moves like his Shadow Kick, Shadow Uppercut, Shadow Somersaults and his brass knuckles that we were introduced in Mortal Kombat X . But what gamers will be genuinely excited to see are the new tricks that Johnny Cage has up his sleeve in MK11 . The folks at NetherRealm are taking the character to another level by allowing him to beat his opponents into a bloody pulp in the most Hollywood way ever. The trailer reveals that Cage can now call on a stunt double to help issue fades, throw his sunglasses as a dangerous projectile, and blind his opponents with a camera flash. What really will have the masses talking is Cage’s X-Ray attack where we see the former actor brutalize his opponents with an award trophy smashing it across their faces before stabbing them in the back with it. For his fatality, Cage brings back his vintage uppercut finish but needs numerous takes to get it right before taking his frustration out on his defeated opponent and asking, “who hired this guy, wtf?” Johnny Cage joins his wife Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, Geras, Skarlet, Baraka, Jade, Kano, Kabal , D’Vorah and Shao Khan. Habitual Repo Victim Tyga Sued For Over $128K In Broken Luxury Car Leases

Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty Tyga who is notorious for leasing vehicles and not paying for them is being sued for a Ferrari, and Rolls Royce TMZ reports. Last weekend the “Taste” rapper was dragged out of Floyd Mayweather’s birthday party for making a scene about his leased luxury Maybach being repossessed after he defaulted on the $6,000 monthly payment. Turns out that was the least of his worries, TMZ obtained documents stating Midway Rent-A-Car is suing Tyga because he stopped making payments on a 2012 Ferrari 458 Spider and a 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost back in 2016. Per TMZ : Midway Rent-A-Car says, in docs obtained by TMZ, the rapper leased a 2012 Ferrari 458 Spider and a 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost back in 2016. However, as he’s wont to do, Tyga stopped making payments before the lease ended … according to Midway.  The rental company says both rides got repo’d, but Tyga still owes almost $44k on the Ferrari and more than $84k on the Rolls. Grand total — $127,789.73. Despite multiple attempts to collect, the rental company claims Tyga hasn’t squared up … so it’s suing him for the full amount plus attorney fees and interest. Is Madea Really A Man? Tyler Perry Weighs In

Tyler Perry is finally laying his beloved Madea character to rest from the big screen saying we will finally see the last of her in Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral which hits theaters tomorrow, March 1st, 2019. The plot of the movie is simple as a joyous family reunion turns into an unexpected nightmare when Madea and the gang find themselves planning a funeral in the backwoods of Georgia. This wouldn’t be a Madea movie without some crazy twist and turns in the film. As family secrets come to light in all the debauchery of the film you do get some very funny moments in an overall mess of a film. People love these movies and they tend to pull in money at the box office with Tyler Perry’s Boo! 2 A Madea Halloween pulling in 47 million dollars and the previous movie pulling in 73 million. Despite all the box office success, Tyler said he’s said everything he has to say as this character after doing her for over 20 years. He reveals, “I’m turning 50 this year and Madea was clearly a means to get to a point. To get to the studio opening, to be able to work and hire people and do all of these other things and she did all of that for me and for me turning 50 I want to do somethings differently.” While the movie comes out this weekend, you can still see Madea on the stage as Tyler is taking the act on the road touring Madea in a stage play where it all started, for another year or maybe longer. “I don’t know if it’s going to end this year or 2020 because the show has been sold out everywhere so we are adding more dates,” Tyler explains to Xilla. The live reaction with the audience is what he will miss the most because he explains it’s “not like these movies.” The movies are what they are, funny and all over the place and you don’t expect them to be anything more than nonsense, long scenes and a bunch of foolery. One of the running jokes in the film has everyone calling Madea a man. I’ve always thought Madea was the elder Auntie with no filter we all know and love but I asked has she always been a woman?
