Gary Shirley: Victim or Amber Portwood Antagonist?

Is rotund Teen Mom baby daddy Gary Shirley the target of Amber Portwood’s insane rage, or does he play a big role in antagonizing her? In a video obtained by TMZ, Shirley gets an earful from the accused felon, but the video raises serious questions about big daddy himself. Shot in April, the clip shows Shirley on the phone with Amber Portwood, who goes off on him as usual. Strangely, he seems to revel in it. Should we be pointing fingers at Gary as well? Portwood pleaded not guilty to assault this week, but Gary may not be a sympathetic figure. He sure had fun with this particular, button-pushing diatribe. While she was reportedly encouraged to fight Gary by MTV, cops say Amber claims it was not done for Teen Mom viewers’ sake but was authentic anger. Is Gary was really a “victim” of violence in all of this? Was he playing it up for the cameras, or just riling up his baby mama? Which Network Will Be The First to Jump on a Russian Spy Series?

And you thought Horse-Boy had the makings of a good Hollywood project. On Monday, federal prosecutors charged 11 people with being part of a Russian espionage ring . In other words: Spies! And lest you think this isn’t like some Cold War paranoia fantasy, the accused — who were “living under false names and deep cover in a patient scheme to penetrate what one coded message called American ‘policy making circles'” — partook in every spy cliche you could imagine: forged passports, false identities, messages written in invisible ink and even the exchanging of “identical orange bags as they brushed past one another in a train station stairway.” Suck it, John le Carré! Unless this is all an elaborate viral marketing campaign for Salt , the Russian spies seem ripe for Hollywood intervention. But this story is too sprawling for just a movie — it needs a TV show. Ahead, Movieline looks at the five networks who should be interested.

She has been charged with several counts of child molestation in what has become a contemptuous trial. The trial of a former kindergarten teacher accused of molesting three young girls is going into its fourth week in the small north Georgia town of Ringgold. Authorities charged 37-year-old Tonya Craft with 22 counts, including child molestation, aggravated child molestation

Tonya Craft Verdict Chattanoogan Trial

Finally, after weeks upon weeks of waiting, the Tonya Craft verdict has been released. The national media was in place at Catoosa County Courthouse for the official  Tonya Craft verdict . Since she has been accused, Craft has lost her job. Supporters of  Tonya Craft are speaking out as both sides anxiously await a  verdict today in the five-week trial of the former northwest Georgia elementary school teacher accused of molesting three young girls. Some think  Tonya’s supporters manipulated public opinion and the media to get her off. Despite the  verdict ,  Tonya will never be able to recover her reputation.
