Teen Choice Awards 2010: Full List of Winners!

The 2010 Teen Choice Awards, held at the Gibson Amphitheater on Sunday in Universal City, Calif., and airing tonight on Fox, were filled with big names. Sandra Bullock, for one. She didn’t walk the blue carpet, but accepted the award for choice movie actress for her Oscar-winning role in The Blind Side . “I don’t know if you should bring attention to this. Some things are better left unsaid. It’s been awhile since I was a teen,” she said. “I’m so blessed and lucky.” She then danced to Lil Jon’s “Get Low” with Betty White. Seriously. Sandra Bullock shows Betty White how to shake dat THANG . Among the other stars to walk away with prized surfboards included Selena Gomez, Channing Tatum, Taylor Lautner, Megan Fox and the cast of Glee . Katy Perry, who hosted the event, kicked off the night on a colorful and flashy stage with a stirring performance of her latest song, “Teenage Dream.” Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber accepted an award and sang “U Smile” via satellite. Violet Kowal, Other Mel Gibson Mistress, Lawyers Up

Remember Violet Kowal? Mel Gibson’s OTHER alleged mistress? No? Well, she wants to make sure she’s not left out of the actor’s recent saga – financially. Kowal, a 39-year-old “fitness model” (some have referred to her as a porn actress) from Poland, has just retained the services of attorney Gloria Allred. Back in May, we reported that Violet Kowal claimed she had an affair with Mel Gibson while Oksana Grigorieva was pregnant with their daughter Lucia. If he were putting it to Violet while living with Oksana (while married to Robyn), that would add a new twist – if it’s even true or he violated any laws. It’s unclear why Kowal needs legal representation at this point, but hey, it worked out for Rachel Uchitel fairly well. There’s eight digits of motivation. In case you haven’t read any celebrity gossip for the past month or so, Mel and Oksana are engaged in a brutal legal and custody battle over Lucia. The Mel Gibson tapes – in which he rants and berates her in the most foul way imaginable – and accusations of violence have dominated headlines. Mel has personally been MIA lately and that’s because he’s on a family fishing trip with two of his sons, much to Oksana Grigorieva’s consternation. Oksana’s laywers tried to schedule Gibson’s deposition for the ongoing child custody battle in the middle of his trip. The court date has been delayed. Her people think the delay is evidence that Mel is not committed to Lucia. TMZ reports Mel will be “front and center for his deposition in short order.”

Eric Stonestreet on Modern Family’s Emmy Rivalry and the Show’s Losing Strategy

Just this year, Eric Stonestreet has gone from a Kansas-born actor best known for a minor role on CSI : Crime Scene Investigation to an Emmy nominee on this year’s most well-accepted — and arguably, best — comedy on television. As Cameron Tucker, the most flamboyant member of Modern Family , Stonestreet is often responsible for delivering the show’s biggest laugh lines, a fact not lost on the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. When Movieline bumped into the actor earlier this week at the Beverly Hilton, he was quick to cite his plan for the night which includes meeting his favorite actress and delivering an award-worthy losing performance.

Bodyguard Group is on Team Oksana Grigorieva

The majority of THG poll respondents stand with Mel Gibson in his ongoing legal and custody battles with his controversial ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva. We’re guessing her bodyguards don’t read THG. Their loss. In any case, the men who are currently protecting her – all U.S. military veterans – are coming to her defense and making it clear they’re on Team Oksana. If you missed it, Oksana alleges he abused her and their eight-month-old daughter, Lucia, in January. Authorities are investigating but haven’t charged Mel. Many are skeptical, but bodyguards believe her. The Bodyguard Group, a referral service for veterans, just posted the following statement on its site: “The Bodyguard Group has reviewed both versions of events and ALL of our members agree that ONLY Oksana is being 100% honest … We ask that everyone support Oksana and take a stand against all men who abuse women and children.” While it’s unusual for bodyguards who don’t normally take sides to be so vocal, the post adds, “We could not keep silent after the abuse Oksana suffered.” It is unclear if any bodyguards are the witnesses her attorneys claim saw Mel hit Oksana , but they seem fairly certain the actor was abusive in some way. Well? Changed your mind?

How Did Kenneth Branagh Get ‘Thor’ Job? Marvel Chief Explains

By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Chris Hemsworth in “Thor” Photo: Paramount Pictures When Marvel Studios announced it was making a live-action movie about its god of thunder, “Thor,” fans of the comic books were mostly excited. But when the studio revealed its choice of director, seasoned Shakespearian thespian Kenneth Branagh, the reactions were surprised, and decidedly mixed. Now that the trailer is out and the cast and crew have made the rounds at San Diego Comic-Con, however, it seems the buzz is mostly positive for Branagh. When MTV News caught up with Marvel chief Kevin Feige during our live-stream show at Comic-Con, he revealed how Branagh landed the gig. “He chased it pretty hard,” Feige said. “We had a number of good meetings. He flew himself over to meet with me. We had a number of phone calls, a number of sessions — more meetings than I’ve ever had with a director before we’d brought them on.” Feige added that through those first meetings with Branagh, he quickly learned that the actor had a lot more invested in the character than Feige originally realized. “He’s a big, giant ‘Thor’ fan,” Feige said. “He clearly is a very literate guy when it comes to Shakespeare, and when it comes to almost anything, including Marvel’s ‘Thor,’ which was a surprise to us. “Also, just talking about movies,” he continued. “We love the same kind of movies, we love the same kind of things, and when you have someone who’s as talented as Ken is in one arena and bring him into another one, he is going to succeed.” Feige went on to say that Marvel was fully behind Branagh in every step of his filmmaking process. “We have the department heads, we have the great resources to help him,” he said. “What he brings to us is bringing our characters to life in a big way.” For breaking comic book movie news, columns and more — updated around the clock — visit SplashPage.MTV.com .

Sam Rockwell on Cowboys and Aliens and Partying with Costars

It’s safe to say that Sam Rockwell and Jon Favreau enjoy a very good working relationship. Favreau gave the actor an uncredited role in his directorial debut Made , considered him to play Tony Stark in the original Iron Man , then let Rockwell do the bulk of Iron Man 2’s scene stealing as Stark’s rival Justin Hammer. At Comic-Con, Movieline spoke to Rockwell for a little while about their newest collaboration: Favreau’s sci-fi western Cowboys and Aliens .

Family of Mel Gibson Stands By Star

Mel Gibson is not only in a nasty fight with Oksana Grigorieva over custody of their baby daughter, he’s facing a domestic violence investigation and major fallout from her set of rage-filled, possibly career-ending leaked phone tapes. But he still has his family. “He has a good support system in his friends and family,” a friend tells People adding that his seven kids are “absolutely” standing by their father. Gibson regularly speaks to his soon-to-be-ex wife, Robyn, with whom he split in April 2009, and has seven children from a nearly 30-year union. It was Robyn Gibson who came to his defense last week, filing an affidavit swearing he was never once abusive during their entire time together. Mel has allies in Robyn Gibson and their seven kids. According to a source, it was her idea: “Mel didn’t ask Robyn for the affidavit in which she says that he never engaged in any physical abuse towards her.” “Robyn just felt that enough is enough … She still values her marriage to Mel and is sick of [how the press portrays] Mel as a heartless, abusive monster.” A new Mel Gibson tape leaked on Tuesday was perhaps the most damning of the six released to date, as he appeared to admit a violent outburst. But despite what you hear on the tapes, Robyn is standing by the actor, who she calls an amazing father. The source said, “she is still protective of him.” A Gibson family source says that the actor’s family has long seen Oksana Grigorieva , who Mel split with earlier this year, as a calculating person. “She pushed him over the edge,” the source says. “While they do think he needs help for his anger issues, Mel’s family is supportive of him.” Thoughts?

His business might be faltering this season on Entourage , but the love life of Jerry Ferrara is just heating up! New reports suggest that the actor who plays Turtle on that HBO comedy has moved on from Jamie-Lynn Sigler. He might be dating socialite Brittny Gastineau. A witness tells Life & Style the pair went to a movie together on June 18 and “they were cute,” going as far as to share popcorn and sit together – in the dark! Gastineau is the daughter of a former professional football player. She’s basically who Kim Kardashian would be if the latter did not star in a sex tape and own huge breasts.
