Considering that she took home the top prize during Tuesday night’s (November 23) finale, that’s a resounding yes. Before the winner was announced, past contestants from this season were invited back to settle scores and dance one last go-round. One dance highlight of the night was Rick Fox versus Kirk Warner — and the two played up their basketball and football backgrounds. Then the three finalists — Bristol Palin, Kyle Massey and Grey — came back to dance one last time before the big reveal. The moment that everyone has been waiting for came: The tension was thick, as viewers waited to find out whether Palin would nab a controversial win. Turns out, there was no need for all the controversy. Palin landed in third place but received a standing ovation from the crowd. “I have so many good memories in this competition,” Palin said. “It’s been a life-changing experience.” Palin smiled as she and her partner Mark Ballas watched a montage of their special moments throughout the season. Once Palin was eliminated, Grey and her partner Derek Hough being named the champions seemed like a foregone conclusion. The announcement was the first non-surprise of the season, considering that the actress had consistently been a front-runner in the dance competition. Grey, who had a flawless finale performance the night before, fought back tears while nodding in agreement when co-host Tom Bergeron mentioned that she didn’t think she’d be able to actually perform at the finale, given that she had a few injuries that were bothering her. By Jocelyn Vena Taylor Momsen Photo: Ian Gavan/Getty Images Good thing Taylor Momsen is busy pursuing her dreams of rock-and-roll stardom with her band the Pretty Reckless, and works as the face of both Madonna’s Material Girl fashion line and John Galliano’s latest perfume campaign , because rumor has it she’s been put on hiatus from her day job as Jenny Humphrey on “Gossip Girl.” Deadline Hollywood reports that the actress will be on an indefinite hiatus after next Monday’s episode, according to sources close to production. Momsen has only appeared in three episodes this season. No official comment has been issued regarding the report, which says that Momsen will be absent from the show for at least four episodes, including the show’s December 6 midseason finale. “Project Runway” star Tim Gunn appeared in an episode with Momsen this season and blasted the actress for her diva-like behavior. “What a diva,” he told E! News. “She was pathetic, she couldn’t remember her lines, and she didn’t even have that many. I thought to myself, ‘Why are we being held hostage by this brat?’ ” This isn’t the first time that Momsen has temporarily left the show . Earlier this year, Momsen stepped away to pursue her music career. At 17, Momsen’s behavior has become increasingly polarizing thanks to her skimpy clothing choices, reckless behavior and interviews in which she’s dissed fellow teen stars like Miley Cyrus and talked about her sex life. Momsen recently blamed her parents for her behavior, saying, “Everyone’s like, ‘Wow, why is she upset and why is she so miserable about things?’ My parents signed me up with Ford [modeling agency] at the age of 2. No 2-year-old wants to be working, but I had no choice. … My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn’t have any friends. I was working constantly and I didn’t have a real life.”

That sentiment is not far from how Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger, was feeling when she found out exactly what was in store for her scripted kiss. “It was only the day before that they said, ‘Oh, by the way, we hope it’s all right, but we want you to be topless , and we’re going to cover you in silver paint,’ ” the actress told us earlier this week. “It was awkward enough as it was without the silver paint and the strapless bra, but whatever. It works.” Others also agreed that it works. By Jocelyn Vena Eva Longoria and Tony Parker Photo: Michael Tran/ Getty Images After news broke of her divorce from Tony Parker on Wednesday (November 17), Eva Longoria released a statement on Twitter confirming the split. “It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce,” the “Desperate Housewives” star wrote. “We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness.” Longoria’s soon-to-be-ex-husband also took to Twitter to post a nearly identical statement. TMZ posted the papers the actress filed at L.A. County Superior Court, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Longoria is also asking for spousal support from Parker, who plays for the San Antonio Spurs. The legal docs mention the prenup the couple signed in 2007 and amended last year. The couple had been plagued with rumors of Parker’s infidelity, and a source told TMZ that the actress is “devastated.” Longoria, 35, and Parker, 28, met in November 2004 and were engaged in November 2006. They exchanged vows during a small civil service and again, a day later, on July 7, 2007, at Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte, a 17th-century castle on the outskirts of Paris. They have no children together. The news of Parker and Longoria’s split was surprising, as the couple are frequently photographed cuddling and generally appearing happy together. Just last month, Longoria stopped by the “Ellen” show, where she told host Ellen DeGeneres that Parker surprises her every year for their anniversary and that this year he took her to Croatia. Mid-story, Longoria seemed to sense that DeGeneres might be planning one of her signature “scares,” and when the actress turned around, Parker was standing on set. Basically, Lindsay told her mom not to go on Today at all. When Dina defied her and chatted it up with Matt Lauer, Lindsay, whose patience with her mom had already been wearing somewhat thin, was “furious.” Since the interview, Lindsay has been warier of her mom and is beginning to understand her antics are part of the reason she has so many problems.
