Kate Gosselin: Looking for Love, Reality TV Fame

Run and hide, men around the world. Kate Gosselin wants to find love again. And, hey, if it comes along with the fame and fortune of another reality TV run, the mother of eight won’t object. Not long after expressing sorrow for her former life and series , Gosselin is shopping a dating show around to the networks, according to E! News. “She is ready to get back into the dating game,” an insider says of Gosselin . “She is ready to find love again and to move on from her past. She’s excited, this is a chance to start something new.” The source adds that Gosselin is having trouble tracking down Mr. Right in her everyday life (maybe because she’s a terrible person) and is even willing to “travel around the country” as part of the program. Kate and ex-husband Jon Gosselin are on great terms these days and the country is clearly clamoring for at least one of them to step into the spotlight again. No, wait. It’s the exact opposite. What would you title a Kate Gosselin dating show?

Kirstie Alley Sued Over Weight Loss Product, Claims

Kirstie Alley has lost a tremendous amount of weight . There’s no denying that fact. But it’s how the actress dropped nearly 100 pounds that is at the center of a new lawsuit against her. A California resident has filed suit against Alley because she doesn’t believe the star actually shed pounds using Organic Liaison, a product Alley shills for online and on QVC. Instead, the plaintiff thinks Alley simply followed a low-calorie diet and practiced a lot for Dancing with the Stars . Organic Liaison? It’s nothing but fiber and calcium, the legal documents allege. Alley is being sued for unspecified damages in a case similar to that of Kim Kardashian and QuikTrim , as that reality star has also come under legal fire for assertions that she lost weight due to that supplement. Note to the overweight: if you want to slim down, simply change your diet and exercise. That’s it. It’s rather simple. [Photo: WENN.com]

Conservative Group Labels NBC Sitcom as "Damaging to Our Culture"

There are television shows about families with 19 kids. And television shows about teenage mothers. There’s even one that features strange addictions such as eating laundry detergent. Yet One Million Moms – a conservative group that went after JC Penney after it hired Ellen DeGeneres as a spokesperson – believes an upcoming NBC sitcom titled The New Normal is “attempting to desensitize America and our children” because it centers on a gay couple and a surrogate.

Happy 43rd Birthday, Jennifer Lopez!

She may be off American Idol , but she isn’t taking a career break. Far from it. Jennifer Lopez is off on tour with Enrique Igelsias these days. So she may be too tired or busy to read this at the moment, but it’s worth saying anyhow: today is J. Lo’s 43rd birthday! Send in your best wishes now! Life is pretty darn good for the actress/artist at the moment. She raked in millions through Idol , she resurrected her career and she’s getting hot and heavy with a much younger dancer named Casper Smart . Far from shabby! Other stars celebrating the anniversaries of their birth today include: Anna Paquin (30), Summer Glau (31), Barry Bonds (48) and Michael Richards (63). Almost all of them have gone their entire lives without ranting racist taunts at stand-up comedy shows attendees!

Chick-fil-A Responds to Ed Helms Tweet, Gay Marriage Controversy

When it comes to its beef with actor Ed Helms, Chick-fil-A is not playing chicken. The company has issued an immediate response to The Office star’s recent Tweet, which took Chick-fil-A to task for its President admitting he is opposed to gay marriage. “The Chick-fil-A culture and service tradition in our restaurants is to treat every person with honor, dignity and respect – regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender,” the statement reads. “We will continue this tradition in the over 1,600 restaurants run by independent Owner/Operators. Going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.” This controversy erupted after Helms responded to Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy telling the press his company operated on “biblical principles” and, as a result of such a public stance, Chick-fil-A has lost him as a customer. What do you think of Helms threatening a boycott?
