Demi Moore 911 Call: Was Rumer Willis There?

On the call, someone called ‘Ru’ was asked to provide an address for emergency responders. By Kara Warner Demi Moore with daughter Rumer Willis Photo: Getty Images Ever since news of Demi Moore’s hospitalization broke, more details have emerged each day to paint a clearer picture of the circumstances that led to the actress’ ambulance ride to the ER on Monday night. Some reports have claimed Moore was inhaling nitrous oxide from aerosol cans, also known as whip-its, the night the 911 call was placed from her home in Los Angeles, the recording and details of which were released Friday (January 27). Several people were heard on the call describing various symptoms the actress was experiencing at the time, as well as a few comments that seemed to indicate that Moore’s friends were just learning of her alleged substance abuse. Careful listening of the 911 call reveals an exchange between one of the callers and someone named “Ru,” who is asked for the specific address and instructions for how the paramedics can get to the house. “Hey, Ru, what’s the name at the gate so that we can buzz them in from here?” a man is heard asking on the call. There has been no confirmation regarding Rumer’s presence at the scene, but she reportedly goes by the “Ru” nickname and references it on her Twitter account. Sources told E! News that Moore’s three daughters are doing fine since their mom’s health scare. Rumer reportedly visited her mother several times at the hospital before she was discharged earlier this week . Tallulah, 17, is with her dad, Bruce Willis. “She’s doing great,” the source said. “Her grandmother [Bruce’s mom] is also there with her.” Moore’s other daughter, 20-year-old Scout, goes to Brown University in Rhode Island and reportedly hasn’t been home since the incident.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Children of Octomom!

Octomom Nadya Suleman’s octuplets turn three today. Pray for them. Even if you’re not religious … just pray. We’re legitimately shocked they all survived this long, looking relatively healthy to boot, her as the mom, but hey, it’s a very pleasant surprise. Eight times over. Nadya Suleman took her octuplets out for some fun to celebrate, hitting up the Seascape Kids Fun venue in Los Angeles. Looks like a good time was had, except perhaps by the random paparazzi guy creeping in the background. Suleman’s octuplets are Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariah, Makai, Josiah, Jeremiah and Jonah. Her other children are Elijah Makai, Amerah Yasmeen, Joshua Jacob, Aiden, Calyssa Airelle and Caleb Kai. Yes, that makes 14 kids and no jobs in all. Again, pray for them. [Photo: Pacific Coast News]

Katherine Heigl Has ‘Thought A Lot’ About Return To ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

‘There’s nothing about [Izzie] I didn’t like,’ Heigl tells MTV News at ‘One for the Money’ premiere. By Christina Garibaldi Katherine Heigl on “Grey’s Anatomy” Photo: ABC NEW YORK — It’s been more than two years since Katherine Heigl left her role as Dr. Izzie Stevens on the hit show “Grey’s Anatomy.” Rumors swirled that Heigl had behaved like a diva on the set, and after five seasons she left to focus on her movie career and being a mom to her adopted daughter. Yet it seems she’s had a change of heart. At the New York premiere of her new flick “One for the Money,” which hits theaters on Friday, Heigl told MTV News she would love to return to “Grey’s Anatomy” to find out what happened to her beloved character. “There was something about her that I really loved. I thought she was such an interesting character and her backstory, the fact that she was raised in a trailer park and had to give a child up for adoption, put herself through med school and was standing there actually doing the work and going for it, so smart, sort of strong-willed,” Heigl said. “I thought she was kind of a great character — there’s nothing about her I didn’t like.” Back in October 2010 Heigl told MTV News that she was certain she would not return to Seattle Grace since she didn’t want to feel her plotline was forced. “I can’t think of any way that she could come back gracefully that wouldn’t just feel manipulative,” the actress explained. “And it’s hard, because I really wonder what she’s doing and where she is and what happened, but that is over for me now.” Yet Heigl now seems ready to reconsider and already has an idea of what could happen to Izzie. “I’ve thought about this a lot, actually. I would love it if Izzie came back actually having really just sort of gotten to the next level,” Heigl said. “She was always sort of one step behind and struggling with her career, and then she went though all these awful things, the death of her friend, the death of her fianc

Florida Presidential Debate: Ron Paul Edition!

We counted 21 questions for Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich at last night’s GOP debate in Florida, with 12 for Rick Santorum, and a mere eight for Ron Paul. To a point, we get that this is influenced by results and polling … but on the flip side, aren’t results and polling likely to be based on amount of exposure? Why not give candidates equal free media exposure at the debates? It’s not like these are fringe guys really. Ron Paul has a strong third and second place finish and polls in double digits everywhere; Santorum won Iowa . Makes no sense. Fortunately, we came across this highlight reel of Paul’s answers from the debate in Tampa. Let’s hear it for video editing and YouTube! Florida Debate Highlights: Ron Paul Edition!

Nina Dobrev Wants to Be a Drug Addict!

Nina Dobrev may star on The Vampire Diaries , but she portrays a relatively normal character. Elena Gilbert is a mere mortal, after all. Hence why the young star wants to expand her resume to include more movies, telling the latest issue of Nylon “I want to become a different person” and adding: “I want to be a punk or a sweetheart or a drug addict! There are so many things to explore… Sometimes they’ll be like, ‘She’s not plain enough.’ Or ‘She’s not edgy enough.’ That frustrates me. I feel like a blank canvas, and I wish people would be a little more open-minded.” Dobrev is on the verge of major stardom, despite her small screen status, thanks to the wild popularity of her CW show and her relationship with Ian Somerhalder . But the actress says she wants to maintain a bit of anonymity overall. “I can’t say I’m not interested in Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and their family,” Dobrev says. “But it’s something you fight really hard to preserve and keep private.”

Seal, Heidi Klum ‘Shocked’ By Marriage Ending

Singer opens up about his split from supermodel wife as he promotes his album Soul 2. By Jocelyn Vena As Seal preps the release of his album, Soul 2, he isn’t shying away from answering questions about his split from supermodel wife Heidi Klum . In two new interviews, the singer opens up about the breakup. “I think we were shocked,” Seal said on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in an episode airing Tuesday (January 24). “You go into these things with the greatest intentions when you say ‘I do’ and you say ‘Till death do us part.’ Those vows hold value. They are not just words. These things happen. We pretty much said how we feel and made it clear in the release statement.” With regard to the fact that he’s still wearing his wedding ring, Seal added, “I think it’s just pretty much a token of how I feel about this woman. We have eight years, eight wonderful years together. Just because we have decided to separate doesn’t necessarily mean you take off your ring and you’re no longer connected to that person. “We will be connected in many ways till the rest of our lives … through our children and also through this tremendous admiration, respect and love that we have for each other,” he continued. “Will we wear the ring for the rest of our lives? Who knows? But right now it feels really comfortable on my hand, so I have intentions of taking it off anytime soon.” In another interview for the PBS chat show “Tavis Smiley,” set to air on Friday, Seal continues to gush about his ex, and notes that the couple are hardly the first to have a much-publicized split. “In terms of our love and respect for each other, it hasn’t changed at all,” he says. “When two people feel that way about each other, it is easy — it is easier to make that transition. What one has to do in this situation is remain civil and to retain one’s dignity and to be professional and to understand that we are not the only people on this planet that go through this,” he said. “It is just unfortunately a chapter of life.” Were you surprised to hear that Heidi and Seal are splitting? Michelle Williams ‘So Grateful’ For Oscar Nod

‘This role has been the challenge and privilege of a lifetime,’ the ‘My Week With Marilyn’ star says in a statement. By Jocelyn Vena Michelle Williams in “My Week With Marilyn” Photo: The Weinstein Company Michelle Williams is getting Oscar love yet again. Williams is nominated for Best Actress at the Academy Awards for “My Week With Marilyn,” facing off against screen legends and some fresh blood. “I am so grateful to be acknowledged by the Academy for my work, which was made possible by the support of our director Simon Curtis and the camaraderie of a terrific ensemble of actors — a special congratulations to [co-star] Kenneth Branagh — and the fearless Harvey Weinstein,” she said in a statement. “This role has been the challenge and privilege of a lifetime. I would like to think that the recognition our film has received by the Academy is a testament to Marilyn’s legacy.” The other nominees in her category are Glenn Close (“Albert Nobbs”), Viola Davis (“The Help”), Rooney Mara (“The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”) and Meryl Streep (“The Iron Lady”). Branagh, who earned a Best Supporting Actor nod for his work in “Marilyn,” was equally amped about the recognition. “It was a rare honour to play Sir Laurence Olivier,” he said in a statement. “To be recognised by the Academy for doing so is overwhelming. I’m absolutely thrilled.” Williams already won the Golden Globe for her role in the film earlier this month. This marks her third Oscar nod after previous nominations for “Blue Valentine” and “Brokeback Mountain,” though she has yet to take one home. Recently, former “Dawson’s Creek” co-star Joshua Jackson opened up about Williams’ critically lauded career . “It’s surreal, in that it would be surreal to see any of your friends [up for an Oscar]. It’s amazing. She’s an excellent actress,” he told MTV News at the Sundance Film Festival . “Of all of us, when we finished that show, she was the one who had the clearest idea about what it was that she wanted to do. To be able to go out and achieve that is no small feat. I just think it’s wonderful.” See the complete list of Academy Awards Nominations .
