The herb-loving rapper craves some serious shut-eye in his new video, “No Sleep”, as he’s been partying all night long. (That’s why they invented Redbull, dude.) The song, produced by Benny Blanco, is one of his best from … More » Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Idolator Discovery Date : 13/08/2011 00:29 Number of articles : 2

When word hit that Kevin Smith was aiming for the Oscars with a qualifying theatrical run for his divisive film, Red State , critics split over his perceived goals and, more specifically, the financial terms of his week-long engagement at L.A.’ s beloved, family-run New Beverly Cinema . Reached for comment, Smith explained his award season intent and why he’s charging $20 for a screening and Q&A at a theater where you can get a double feature for $7 every night, often with an amazing Q&A for free.
It’s been a little more than a month since Millennium Entertainment picked up the thriller Trespass , which stars Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman as a couple defending their home against a ruthless gang of home invaders. Last week, very quietly, the company appears to have distributed the first poster for Joel Schumacher’s film. But when does intend to distribute the actual film ?

I don’t know why I bother posting pics of this bitch. She’s virtually a nobody, but I guess it comes down to the majority of people thinking she’s hot, something that I have a hard time doing, no, not because she banged a black dude, some of the hottest girls out there bang black dudes, it’s the hip hop generation….but cuz she’s fat….has fake tits…and looks and dresses trashy, on some trailer park trash stripper shit…a look that doesn’t turn me on…cuz I’ve had sex with so many of these trashcans for money….and it’s pretty fucking played out…. Not to mention, her posting her tits on twitter is expected, not only cuz all girls with fake tits love showing them off, I mean they saved up all their money for the shits, might as well get use out of the shit and celebrate the shit, but cuz she’s a fame whore and tits are all she’s got to keep people noticing… BORING.
Here’s a video of Amy Winehouse, in what is probably her last performance, from the 20th of July, I mean unless you consider dying alone in your bed to be a big final performance, even though no one relaly got to see the first part of the act, and only a select few got to see the actual ending, in some philisophical “if a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound” concept to deep and powerful for my little brain to grasp…. She’s dancing crazy and crazy dancing always brings joy to my cold dead, but not Amy Winehouse dead, heart….. It’s a tragedy, but at least she left us with one last laugh….
‘It will all be clear in the negotiations following me turning this actual album in,’ Fif tells MTV News. By Rob Markman 50 Cent Photo: Tiffany Rose/ WireImage After selling millions of records with Interscope, will 50 Cent be looking to jump ship? Anything is possible as the G-Unit head honcho prepares his fifth and final contracted album on the powerhouse label. “I don’t know,” 50 told MTV News when asked if he would ink back with Interscope once his five-album deal was fulfilled. “It will all be clear in the negotiations following me turning this actual album in. And, of course, the performance and how they actually treat the work will determine whether you still want to stay in that position or not.” Last week, on June 16, Fif took his label to task via Twitter when he fired off, “I’m sorry to announce I will not be releasing a new album this year if we don’t get on the same page.” Soon after, he tweeted: “My whole career iv been doing sh– and they have been playing catch up this is the last f—ing album THEY BETTER WAKE UP AND WORK.” Feeling he could no longer wait on the label and that he had to take matters into his own hands, the rapper then went on to release his new street single “Outlaw” later that evening. “It’s not necessarily [Dr.] Dre or [chairman] Jimmy [Iovine]; it’s more the guys that they pass the responsibilities on to,” 50 told MTV News the next day. “It takes longer for people, because they’ll be like, ‘OK, we’re gonna do this and we’re gonna do that,’ and the building will start having those conversations, but they’re not actually moving at that point. “They’re behind it, but to get everybody moving at the same beat and moving at the same pace is the object,” he added. “That was what the goal was even writing that statement and releasing the song.” It’s obvious that for 50, there is a lot riding on this project. He isn’t opposed to re-signing with the record company helmed by Iovine, but he also isn’t opposed to walking away and going independent either. For the Southside Jamaica, Queens, MC, the label support for his upcoming LP will determine his next move. “It’s not like you’re gonna be able to make a project bigger than the actual project is, but if the songs are right and you have full support and you feel that support, why would you want to go anywhere else?” he said. “If not, if you don’t have that support, why would you want to sign to another system? In the financial state that I’m in, you just do it yourself.” In 2010, 50 took his artist Lloyd Banks and signed him to EMI Records , where he structured the deal to operate much like an independent. Banks’ The Hunger for More album has already produced five singles and created a presence for the Queens rapper among his contemporaries. “You’ve seen the success of Lloyd Banks’ project with me being behind him financially,” 50 said. “You can’t tell the difference between him and other artists that are on major record companies.” Do you think 50 should stick with Interscope or go indie? Paul Teutul Jr. tells MTV News he’s puzzled by Gaga’s motorcycle makeover. By James Montgomery Lady Gaga Photo: Noel Vasquez/ Getty Images When Lady Gaga unveiled the cover art for her much-anticipated Born This Way album over the weekend, even the most manic of Little Monsters seemed perplexed by her brand-new motorcycle makeover … with some even going so far as to speculate that the cover was fake . And if you think Gaga’s fans are confused by the BTW cover, well, then you should hear Paul Teutul Jr.’s take on it. After all, he designs motorcycles for a living, first under his dad’s tutelage at Orange County Choppers — made famous on Discovery Channel’s “American Choppers” — and now with his own shop, Paul Jr. Designs . Turns out Junior’s sort of at a loss when it comes to Gaga’s new look. “This chopper is very, kind of, uh, interesting. They kind of melted the motor around and stuff so it’s hard to even see what they have … they almost did a ribcage, kinda see-through in the tank. But none of it feels really smooth,” he told MTV News. “The bike that it emulates the most is that ‘Easy Rider’ bike … it has that king and queen seat, it’s got the old-school exhaust, but I can’t really tell what kind of bike it is.” Of course, aside from the assumed technical issues, Teutul Jr. said that he’s most puzzled that the Born This Way album cover didn’t go even further. Because, as he put it, what could be cooler than a full-fledged Gaga-cycle? “Looking at it, I would’ve made it more of an integration of her into the bike. It would be more seamless. In other words, it would be her and the bike morphed,” he said. “If you’re Born This Way, then it almost has to look kind of mermaid-ish, in the sense that there’s this fusion between the actual mechanical aspect and the human perspective. … It’s a little cut-and-paste looking. I would’ve done something even integrated throughout the bike that would’ve been more ‘Lady Gaga.’ “How awesome would it have been if her entire body, like, her feet actually became the axle rod for the rear tire, and her body actually formed the entire bike? I mean, it could’ve been a more flowing, freakier look,” he continued. “And that’s what we do at Paul Jr. Designs. Our full integration isn’t ‘put a sticker on it.’ Our full integration is we make that bike what the theme is intended to be. It’s about pulling off the theme front-to-back.” And to that end, Teutul Jr. said that he’d love to work with Gaga on an actual motorcycle — it’d probably make for an interesting episode of his show, “American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior,” which returns April 25 — because it would give him and his team a chance to do what they do best. “I would get inside her head on the whole project, and really be able to pull off what it is, creatively, that she would want integrated into the bike,” he said. “And for this tour, she could come out onstage and it could be a whole theatrical thing that ties around the actual album cover. I think it would be a great fit and we’re both young and creative. It would be a great collaboration for sure.” What do you think of the Born This Way cover art? Tell us in the comments! After rejecting a plea deal that could have settled her grand theft case and given her a short stint behind bars, Lindsay Lohan is rolling the legal dice. The first step? A preliminary hearing to determine if there is sufficient evidence to order Lohan to stand trial. That is scheduled for Friday, April 22. It sounds to us like fireworks will fly in the courtroom that day. Team Lindsay is confident they’re gonna win , but the D.A. is not backing down … Los Angeles Deputy D.A. Danette Meyers is warning witnesses to expect “grueling cross examination by defense attorney Shawn Holley” at the hearing. Meyers originally planned on calling only the investigating officers to testify, but is now prepping to go all out April 22 because of a legal technicality. Lindsay, as we know, stands a good chance of being found in violation of her DUI probation regardless of what happens in the felony grand theft case. If the judge finds there is enough evidence to send Lohan to trial, that in itself will result in a probation violation, even if a jury were to later acquit her. Meyers wants to go all out to see that Lindsay is taken into custody for violating probation following the hearing, so she’s calling extra witnesses. Meyers has met with the jewelry store owner, Sofia Kaman, along with the female employee that helped LiLo with the necklace she allegedly stole. Much of the preparation is being spent on Sofia’s testimony, because of Kaman’s decision to sell the surveillance video of Lohan’s alleged theft. Meyers believes Sofia will be an excellent witness for the prosecution, despite that move. She has yet to see one dime from the sale of the tape. Just the same, Meyers expects Holley to grill Kaman about her motives and to try to raise doubts about Sofia’s credibility, inside sources report. The preliminary hearing is expected to last 2-3 days, and at the conclusion, Judge Stephanie Sautner will determine if there is enough evidence. If she does, Meyers will ask that Lindsay be jailed immediately for the probation violation, pending trial. But Sautner could allow her to post bail. Basically, it should be very interesting as there are so many scenarios that could play out in what is a surprisingly complex courtroom drama. What do you think? Is Lindsay a thief?
